TOALL: I just got back from the Vai concert at the HOB in Orlando. Great show as always, Sardinas kicked donkey as well! Inly thing that stunk was that it rained, and HOB didn't let any one in early out of the rain...I got there about an hour before the show, and you would think they could have let us in under the circumstances.....heck, they did us one worse, they let us in 40 minutes after the doors were supposed to open, and I missed 1/3 of Sardinas's set because of this.....that's service for you.
Clarky: Which drum machine, or midi drum library did you use for "blood" off of Satchurated Feedback? You get a really nice, realistic sound. Although, I guess if it was a funk or groove tune the drums wouldn't work as well as they do over a hard metal vibe.
DCK: I have a student that has a JCM2000 DSL40watter. And I have to tell you, I got the thing cranked up, and it did not smooth out at all.....I mean, playing leads on the bridge pu was totally out of the question. I was expecting to get an Extremist era Joe tone. Actually, I was wondering.....I really like the tone of the drive channel on the little Marshall MGD15watt practice amp....which Marshall amp can get that sort of fluid, yet defined drive sound (but in a tube platform of course)?

Delphinopie: (sorry had a coupla beers, mnight be wrong): INTERPOLATION is the method of creating a virtual shot between two real shots.
I just got back from the suigning and picking up another ticket for my brother, and..... Scored aftershow.... "No Way", "Yes Way", see you aftershow dudes After the ... show...! :)
Thanks Joe, hey, BTW: what's your head size? I recon you should take a tape measure and post a measurement, that way the cap techs can set up your hats before they chuck them on stage! I heard the cap you got last night was "one you liked cause it fit!"
:)
See ya in an hour or two,
Roo. ;)

Dear joe,
WOW..................i just saw your show at the enmore last night......it was possibly the most amazing thing ive ever seen. It was so cool to actually see you there, and not on one of the four DVD's I have of you. Iv'e been waiting for you to come down under for so long, and now you finaly have. I loved all the adlib......for example "morrocan sunset", that was so awesome, and in "searching", that whole middle section was nothing like the album which i loved dude. You, jeff and matt improv so well it's just so entertaining watching you guys. oh yea and i loved "bamboo" aswell, that new stuff at the ending solo was so awesome, as well as the ending solo of "is there love in space?" was amazing. Ahh yes and the way you guys went into cool #9........i thought it was a new song or somthing. Anyway, iv'e crapped on enough, i just wanted to say thanks for the incredible experience.
Get back in the studio soon, so you can come back to tour Australia again!!!
All the best dude, your biggest fan,
echo87.

Hy everyone,
civgeek – "WHOEVER IS TRYING TO SELL THE PASSES YOU'RE A PIECE OF CRAP!!!" - absolutely right! Such a chance to meet Joe and someone only wants to make a lot of money.... >8-(
OPSC470 – ....only thing that stunk was that it rained, and HOB didn't let any one in early out of the rain... I got there about an hour before the show, and you would think they could have let us in under the circumstances.... heck, they did us one worse, they let us in 40 minutes after the doors were supposed to open, and I missed 1/3 of Sardinas's set because of this..... that's service for you. - That sux a lot....I would be angry too ..... >8-(
Gazhan – Welcome to the site! Unfortuantely no one of us knows when Joe is touring through europe this summer, we only know he will be at some festivals but at which and where they are..... hmmmmm.....but we´ll get the info as far as Joe knows it .... he will let us know.... but you can look to the road section of the site from time to time.....
Zenfish – hy, sorry to say this (and don´t take this too seriously) but: I never recognized you are playing guitar such a long time (2005 years)... how old are you?
bahduh – hy, the info of the shows in India is updated at the road section, seems the webmaster must have done this the last few days.....
SupaaDave - Hy, have a happy St. Patrick´s Day too! By the way: Happy 1000th post to SupaaDave!!!!
Have to leave for now, see you all later ............ tune ;-)

HOLY CRAP a Greg Howe lesson would cost..? how cool would that be!
however to these Howe for G3 calls i've been seeing, I don't think he'd really fit in the fold as such, he is undoubtedly a amazing guitarist, but amazing in a very different style/respect to vai and satriani.
I'm still standing for PAUL GILBERT for G3!

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY to all my Irish brethren - and all you wanna-be's. lol!
;-)
Here's to green beer, green tea, and the green, green grass of home!
OCP, wow, that HOB's before show experience really sucks!! Any idea what the hold up was, or was it just random assholism?
roo, congrats on your aftershow passes. Woohoo!
As for selling an aftershow pass - lame. Selling something like that that you got for FREE is very lame. Then again, I would NEVER sell a pass, a pick, or a signature, but some people do. I think it's very lame. Giving them away when the spirit moves you is the best part of being a fan. Just one girl's opinion.
Maybe if you're hard up you could trade the pass for the price of a beer, but any more than that is lame.
AUSSIE people, please make sure to fill out a review of the show you attended on the raod page. Seeing all the reviews might get Joe heading back t ya's sooner than later if he knows how much ya enjoyed it.
ALSO, if you took pictures, send them in to the webmaster so he can eventually post them on the site.

As far as the comments about someone selling their after show passes....
Did you ever think about the fact that the guy probably BOUGHT a pass in the form of the platinum package, then won a pass and just wants to get the money back (or a portion of it) for the one he Purchased. Thus this would allow another fan a chance to meet Joe at a reduced price. Second, take it easy for Christ sake, Joe sells passes for $200 to meet him, and your bitching because someone else wants to sell one? What the hell, why should someone give up a pass for free, when the value of such is $200?
If someone wants to give up a pass for free, that is called an act of kindness. It should not be expected!
Give me a break people!
