Estrela Praise God on your new job!!!
Steven Wilde I finally got one of the CDRW to work only after recording a track (2 actually, stereo) and saving the song. It loads the disk now. Now if I could only figure out how to edit the tracks to remove silent parts, like the 5 second space at the beginning. Right now I guess I'll have to play it to my Computer, then record it back to a new track. I tried to bounce a portin of the track, but the whole track bounced.
Jazzzy[ I heard the sounds of hell on the "Art Bell Show" which comes on late evenings on AM radio stations. Art Bell is in the High Desert of Nevada, his studio is at his house! I was driving around as a security guard late at night, all alone when I heard it!!! Freaky. Good thing I have the Holy Spirit in me! I had to stop and pray, then all fear left me. Just like that. "Greater is He (God) that is in me, than he (Satan) that is in the world"
Gotta go, kids to school, me to Radio Shack for cables... :<)

zinc - some folks like kitty cats... or puppies...
I like raptors... I think they're sort of cute..
estrela - I'd call my raptor Wolfgang... especially if it's a girlie raptor....
she'd be a bad mutha....
Steven - this is awesome....
in time, this will pay off.... you'll grow your repetoir... develop your inner ear... and a trip to the public library music section... and a photocopier.... and you can develop your own little library of sheet music.....
this will introduce to you rock and metal, classical, jazz, etc etc....
also, just because something is not writen for guitar, it don't mean that you'll not be able to play it....
I have scores for cello, violin, full orchestra, piano, church organ, flute, sax, clarinet and a pile more....
some stuff you just have to 'adapt' a little to make it work on guitar...
this diversity will make you a more 'complete' player....
nothing but good can come of this.... very cool..
cuth - give the project mangler a nice 200yrds head start before Wolfgang is released to give chase....
it makes the whole run for your life and deep peril thing so much more entertaining...
SteveT - Lust is the only l/h jewel blue I've ever seen..
I don't know if it's rare or anything.. I never really took the time to find out....
but still... I love her tons....
and with the new Breed.... she bayad...
slansh - I gave up giving up long ago..... too much like hard work.....lol..
ha.. I'm just looking forward to a dip ni the work load so's I can drag my ass back down the gym....
but I'm not totally inactive.. I still have footie training twice a week...
delfino - simile is like saying "ditto"..... so there is a musical figure with some kind of marking like "spiccato" etc.... simile means that you don't have to write it above every bar....
triplets are notes in groupings where three occur per beat and they are evenly spaced with respect to the count....
12/8 time for example is 12 1/8 notes per bar.. but the count is still 1....2....3....4.....
each count represents a 1/4 note where the beat is divided into 3's and not in 2's
regular 4/4 counts
1..and..2..and.3..and..4..and..
12/8 counts
1..2..3.. 2..2..3.. 3..2..3..4..2..3
and the 1/4 note is slightly accented too in order to bring out the "4 beats per bar" feel...
most blues and jazz are in 12/8... this is where they get the 'swing' vibe..

WHAT A NIGHT
3 HOUR OF THE SATCH MAN.
Some things you should know ......
At the Enmore Theatre they leave it up to the artist on letting cameras in or not..THE GOOD NEWS..............Instamatics were fine NO recording or professional equipment..................................................
Shirt were selling $40 and yes there was "Is there Love In Space Tour 2005 T shirts with Australian venues.
Joe was at his best delivering 3 hours of the best music on this planet (and what ever planet Joe's from). The place was packed from top to bottom and I think the only people disapointed were the Mum's and Dad's that had to take their children, Cause it was loud.
The mixing was fantastic with only a couple of disapointing moments with the sound, nothing to stop me going back again (if I could).
Someone even got a hat on stage that Joe had to wear. Another one for his collection.
I've got the San Francisco DVD and love it. This show to night was well up there with it.
So if this give you a idea of what to expect in the up and comming shows left in Aussie land..ITS GUNNA BLOW YOU AWAY.........

I still can't believe I've just watched Joe for 3 hours..
The shots I took with my wife digital camera were all shit. every single one was blured or had the head of the girl infront of me in it.
If anyone got any good pic's please sent me a copy. I found this the only bummer of the night. I really would like a shot or two from the night.
I wanted to take my SLR Camera with a 600mm Zoom Lens (it could be called professional equipment) but didn't want to run the risk of damage or being taken away or even worse thrown out.
This lens would had taken shots of the finger prints left on joes guitars after he touched them.

Jazzy - do you know this person?
Man With 'TIPSY' Plate Faces DUI Charges
MOORHEAD, Minn. (AP) - Having a vanity plate that reads "TIPSY" may not be such a great idea after all. Josiah Johnson, 23, said his license plate might have tipped off the Clay County sheriff's deputy who pulled him over Friday after he left Coach's Sports Pub in Moorhead.
Now he faces third-degree drunken driving charges after his blood-alcohol level allegedly registered twice the legal limit.
Johnson said he bought the personalized license plate for his Jeep to describe the way it rode — then kept it as a joke when he got a Chevy Silverado because he likes to party.
"It doesn't mean I drink and drive," he said. "It just means I have a good time."
Johnson, who was slated to appear in court March 22, said he'll never drink and drive again.
"I feel really stupid," he said.

Clarky: Are you using a real drummer on your T2J2CD tune? This time around I found a real drummer, and it sounds great, but MAN what a pain in the ars those drums where. I had to EQ all the lows out of the overheads and a bunch on the snare, get rid of the highs in the kick (as well as boost the lows) and axe the highs in the toms. I even had to use the volume rubber band tool in Vegas to fade the volume in and out at the beginning and end of every kick and tom hit, because the snare was causing these really slow low frequency resonations in the tom and kick heads! I wonder if all drum tracks take this much work to sculpt into an album version?

Thanks to everyone who wished me well on the exam- your positive vibes really do help in a kind of weird way!
Hi Michelle and thanks! :-)
Estrela- Congrats on the new job! Excellent news :-)
962- Thanks for advice. Will definitely look into the soundproofing sometime soon, although as I say the sound is pretty good- but I would like to make sure it's even better so I can rock out without thinking about it! Nearly at you 962nd post I see...
DEATH CUBE- was talking to Slanshroom about advice on the JSX Head- he said you were the man to ask on all things amp? 962 has helped me out a bit already, but do you know what the sound quality will be like at a low volume setting for times when I can't crank it up (e.g. thinking of the neighbours) our party wall thickness is about 24cms- we didn't move all that long ago which is the reason I know BTW lol! Apparently there is no headphone jack thing so.. any advice gratefully received- we're getting it delivered next week!!! :-)
STEVEN- How are you today?
SilentShady- Hope you are well :-)

OCPS470 - Aren't drums fun!!!! It is always the drums that take the longest when recording. Especially if you have a drummer like mine that has 40,000 piece set. Getting a good drum sound is a science and the guys that do it well are the ones to make friends with!! Can't wait to hear all the new tracks.
