Clarky - lol... Good idea!
962 - lol... In all honesty, whilst I do kind of see your point, I still disagree. I quite like England as a country. The traditional food is great (roasts, cream teas, bangers and mash, etc.), some of the scenery is really quite beautiful, and we're in a relatively comfortable place, economically and politically speaking. Sure, the weather can be shit, particulalry in winter, but it can also be really nice. And as the old adage goes, when there's always biscuits in the tin, where's the fun in biscuits? lol... I would also agree with Clarky when he says that we don't really see the culture because it's every day stuff for us. Although, to be honest, I didn't know that April 23rd is St. George's Day. But then again I'm actually Irish, so all I need to rememeber is what time the pubs open and what they're doing on March 17th!!!! lmao

StevenW - I think I've spoken about this before.. lol... but if I write a guitar book.. it'd also need to contain lots of porn.. lmao...
Slansh - jam and a beer sounds perfect..... I'll have to figure a way to make our paths cross sometime......
when the marketeer pened the phrase "Bud, king of beers.."
did he fail the lie detector test...
or is he still to this very day rolling around on the floor laughing his ass off...
when I visit the folks down in Andelucia we drink Mahou - which seems pretty good to me..
962 - a thing to note: travelling on holiday and travelling for work is very different... it's quite an eye-opener...
agree to differ?.. that's ok with me...
but you know this... lol..
Artanis - I work with a lot of Ozzies and Kiwi's here in the UK... a thing that never ceases to amaze me is -
how amazingly similar Australians and Londoners are in most respects.. attitude and slang mostly but the accents are not exactly a million miles apart..
and when I'm working in the US there's always someone say to me "which part of Australia are you from?"
in fact, when I was in Bali, a girl from Tasmania thought I was from some far flung region of Oz... that is until I told her where I actually come from.. then she called me "a fucking pom" and ran... lmao...
on the England thing... yeah like Yoda says.. the whether can be shit.... but then again... the north east USA are getting snow right now.. and they are way further south than us...
what was it last Saturday??... sunny?? and my car was telling me it was 76F... luvlee jublee...
Yoda - are you born Irish or English??
I know your ol' man's Northern Irish though..
I could sort of tell when we met.. lol..

translation - here goes... lmao..
in the boozer the other night pissin' it up with the firm down me own manner..
-- in a bar the other night drinking heavily with my freinds in my local area
these geezers come in monged right up giving it large.. thinks they're the beez..
-- some men come in that are drunk and are being loud / aggressive / flash.. they think that they are quite impressive...
comin' on lemon with the locals giving it plenty a gob..
-- being flash with the locals and having too much to say / bad mouthing..
so this mahoosive fucker's well radio rental and stronging it..
-- so this huge person that is crazy is is being very aggressive..
wants to put mars across me boat and I'm like "do me a favour you're having a fucking giraffe ya wanker.. "
he wants to cut my face [put a scar - mars bar - across my face - boat race] and I say "are you sure, you must be kidding you idiot"..
so it's all starting to kick right off when the filth comes tearing in mob handed..
-- a fight is starting when the police arrive quickly and in large numbers...
nick this.. nick that.. back of the van.. giving it Billy big spuds and all the bollox..
-- arresting lots of people and asserting their authority and all that sort of thing...
so I thought fuck this for a game a soldiers and had it away on me toes lively..
-- so I thought I'd seen enough and run off quickly..
so outside who's I bump into but me ol' mate Taff blagging a motor in the the car park..
-- outside I see my friend Taff how is stealing a car in the car park...
"Taff you old cunt, could do us a flavour geez or what.. I need to ponce a ride a bit sharpish before silly bollox plod over there cops me doing a runner and a gets me collar felt..
-- "Taff my old pal, could you help me please old chap and give me a ride out of here quickly before the silly policeman spots me running away and arrests me"
clear as mud... lmao....

I am looking out some Premium tickets from the organizers here so that buying that will give me a oppurtunity for a hand shake with the "Guitar God" whom I have been worshipping since 2 decades ....
Counting starts now .... as I told before Satrianians from India ...UNITE .... come together and get into the discussion.

Hey Joe, I loved the gig at Thebarton in Adelaide. If L knew you were just goign to penfolds I could have organised a much better wine tour.Try Rockfords, Grant Burge, Langmiels, Peter Lehmann and Henschke next tiem you come (as Well as Mclaren Vale, The Coonawaara & the Clare Valley)
I would love to hear an album with vocals on it and a tour with some vocals next time - perhaps hire a singer like Santana so we can hear songs like "the phone call", "ride", "big bad moon", etc.

Artanis....seeing as though jazzzzzzziole' started the whole thing with (mite & snyike) which is (mate & snake), I think it's only fitting that he suggest the next one, unless you'd like to give us a few rounds of "Waltzin Matilda" for us, or maybe didgeridoo...waiting for your sound clips is like Christmas eve for me....lol...peace...there's always "put a shrimp on the barbie", or "Crock"...lol
