Happy 57th birthday, Steven Tyler...

taterhed - T2J is like this for a reason...I don't think we'll see an organized message board anytime soon. It has been kinda hard to follow recently because things have been so busy, but this format creates interesting conversations... It's cool.

Flashlight - No...Octavarium won't be released until June 7. I'll buy it as soon as it comes out, but I still have a while to wait.

"You have to be a post hooker if you want to have many post"

No you don't. I make less than three posts per day, on average...it's just that I've been doing it for nearly three years. ;-)

Anyway...happy 100. :-)

...Austin...

Mr Nick, oh yeah, I forgot you work at a Kart Track. Good stuff! How come you're not making more of a 'thing' of the teaching.....lack of spare time? I guess it's not so important since you've got another job...
Stevee T, thanks for lookin at the photos! I will, at some point, get around to uploading the photos I took of the GIO-upgrade procedure. I took one picture of it with the routing jig attached, but somehow lost the picture, which I'm pissed off about. oh well!
Extreme influence, hehe, I don't think Joe has enough time for msn! Welcome to T2J.....There was a G3 tour here last summer! And my guess is we'll see Joe tour solo again when he's released the next album.
Happy Birthday to all who have birthdays today or have had birthdays recently! haha

Hello friends, in first place HAPPY EASTER TO ALL :-). Yesterday the band of my producer gave the 1000 concerts. What a party. I`ve been busy creating a new project for my city: a Club of Music to offer workshops and concerts with high quality :-)). I have the support of the Politic guys of my City. They loved the idea and we got the Auditorium of the Youth Center to do the workshops and the concerts :-)).

JOE - Glad that you had a wonderful time in Australia and NZ :-)). Very happy to know that. Happy Easter for you and family :-). Hope see you soon :-).

Dear friends, have a great time and Happy Easter to all :-)).

Sorry if i missed something important :-).

LOVE AND HAPPINESS

Alexandre

Steven Wilde...How are YOU today....Sir....Sunny day here...that's a good start....Peace...out..

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

OCPS470....JP has so much potential, and the opportunity to rise to be truely considered one of the greatest rock/progressive rock guitarist's of all time...seeing as this is his debut album...I'd hoped that he'd make that move.

IMHO...his effort falls short of one of the greatest...so far JP's a great technician...my expectations were very high...

Oh...more importantly...I visited your site again...love your guitar...the site's easy to navigate, and for those who haven't listened to more of your songs here's a great chance to....OCPS470's Website...very nice composition, tone, execution & studio mixes!! Bravo! The Universal Studio's commerical is real pro...and takes you somewhere nice.

962...the blue one's the sexiest!

Brother Al The reason I was askin about the cartoons thing is that yesterday when I got up and there was an Ed, Edd and Eddy marathon on Cartoon Network my sister started having a go at me because I'm 18 now and I used to watch that "crap" (as she put it) when I was 11...Which has now encouraged me to buy the DVD's :-P

Big Bunny My dads fine now, I can't remember how they cured him of kidney stones but it worked...and as a side-effect of the morphine I get offered beer...however its not nice beer so I pass them up.

anyhoo...back to computer gaming and eating scrambled eggs :-)

STeveeT: Thanks for the plug man! Unnecessary but totally appreciated. Now I don't have to do my own internet whoring haha! I think the session clips are a good example of what folks want out of guitar players these days......multiple styles, tone, tight playing, an ability to improvise and present ideas to the composer that give him/her ideas they didn't think of, and most of all melody over flash. I mean, sometimes they'll ask for flash, but if I freaked out everytime I was asked to lay back, I'd be kicked out of lots of sessions haah! You know, the funniest thing is that the wierd techniques on guitar have been some of the most usefull. I use the crosshanded left hand hammering technique (MPHGT), ebow, and volume swells a ton to create synth texturres that don't quite sound like guitar or keyboard. I'm asked to do those a lot. Eventually I'll get around to recording some more showy stuff as soon as I figure out how to incorporate it into the tunes I write without having it look like I crammed it in there to show off or something. My T2J cd submission succeeded in that regard. I think you'll dig it when you hear it....I hope haha! Thanks again!

OCPS470...glad to hawk your goods...they're fine & tastefully done...loved volume swells since I can 1st remember Roy Buchanan encoporating them into his playing back in 1971-ish.

This T2J should be very interesting (return members trying to offer something better than their 1st cut) ...(1st T2J is great). I still can't decide on which of the 3 tunes I've chosen for possible submission...I only have a few days left...lol.... peace out...I gotta go meet Greg Howe now...whew....talk about flash....talk to you's after I return from the lesson...haha..this should be great!!!!

Boris the Spider - Where in Oregon? You going to the show in Portland?

Steve T Thanks for the review. Since I like the noodling, I'm sure it will spend time in my player.

Keniko - I was sharing your email about the Iraq with my wife and she brought up an interesting point. What if the people who flew the airplanes (who were Muslim) on 9:11 (and presumably read the Koran) new of the verse and passge that you posted and picked that day specifically with the intent and pupose of provocing the US to enter Iraq. Maybe the people in the planes were not angry at the US but were trying to get us to help bring peace to Iraq. It is an interesting twist on the whole story.

Suzie - Major congrats to you on you passing. !!!

Anyone here use or have a Marshall Gov'nor pedal, either the original one or the newer one?! I'm looking to get one of them. Anyone want to tell me alittle on either of them? Trying to find somewhere other than ebay to get them, any ideas? Trying to sell a brand new Boss BD-2 Blues Driver, bought it last month and never even used it!?! Not really my sound, so put it back in it's box. Trying to get some extra money to put towards the Marshall pedals, if I can find both of them. I want to either trade my BD-2 for one of them, or sell it to have more $ to put towards the two. Any ideas on where to get them? Anyone want to give me like a review on them either? I already checked Harmony centrals reviews, no too helpful, more of "yeah, I like it..." or, "no, it's bad..." with no explanations at all, but most reviewers there are idiots. Guitargeek.com's favorite distortion pedal is the original Gov'nor pedal, they have a great review on it, but lookig for reviews from anyone here or anything on them, where to buy or how they are. Gary Moore used the original Marshall guv'nor, might be the perfect sound I'm looking for then, I play a lot of Thin Lizzy stuff. I know the original gov'nor is going to be a lot better than the newer one, but will probably get both to compare which I like better. Anyone want to help me out?!!?

-Vai concert this Wednesday night!!!! And I have aftershow passes too!!! WOOOOOO!!!! 1st time seeing Vai live, gonna be sick, I've seen a lot of the reviews, going to be really good. I see a lot of people saying it was very loud, but I'll be able to sit...I mean stand through the whole thing...I saw Thin Lizzy in the summer (when they played with Satch and Deep Purple, Thin Lizzy was 1st) they were SOOO LOUD!!! They were beyond loud, I can stand loud music, but they were almost WAY TOO LOUD! And....the Thin Lizzy that's been going around touring after Lynott died sucks anyway! Phil Lynott was AWESOME!!!
