hi everyone!

suzie: well done on the grade 8 piano- kinda makes me feel small as a mere grade 3 violin (oh well, you've gotta start somewhere!). It's a real achievement- CONGRATS.

I hope everyone is enjoying easter.

962 Great job on the fixed bridge GIO...I think that if I ever got endorsed (pff yeah right) I'd have fixed bridge guitars...I haven't used a tremolo in about a year or so (so about half the amount of time i have been playing) and I've found ways around some of the most common aspects of playing using one...obviously it'll never be the same as using a tremolo but meh...

I'm re-sanding my old Aria stg down again and starting over. It's going well, its very time consuming and fun to do. One day before I go to uni it will be finished, bright metallic yellow with a transfer of an evil panda on it :-)

I guess its just fun to customize stuffz :-)

BigBunny Thank for your well wishes :-) and yeah scrambled eggs rock so much!

Steven Wilde I hope your ok, I hope you didn't do any serious damage when you fell and hurt your neck...I'm always going through trouble with my neck for one reason or another, necks are just a pain in the neck if you ask me :-)

Anywayz, take care man and, as you said, rest up and get ready for the satch concert, it'll make you feel loads better I'm sure :-)

Steven Wilde Waiting for the rain today. Looks bad, but no drops yet. Kids had fun at the local Easter egg hunt in McKinleyville. We got lots of exercise today! We are goin to my mother-in-law's house tommorow for Easter (we always do). She lives in McKinleyville, about 10 minutes from our apartment.

Argggg! I am Still hashing out my tune. I keep re-recording tracks. I can't find the right sound yet, and the different "instruments" tend to drown each other out (Muddy?) .

I am still working on the lead guitar part, almost there. Made some progress thursday and friday, actually have some sort of melody to go with the rhythm parts. I started playin today, but lost my groove. Just wasn't happening this morning. My right forearm is getting tight (need to lay back on the speed picking?) ... I might just start over on all the tracks now that I have practiced more. Maybe this evening will be better and I will have a finished song. :<)

Well, I have till monday 3-28-2005 right? Hope I get it done before.

Happy Easter everyone!

Steven Wilde I know...we know (I should say) that there a quite a few that would agree on what we have said...I also doubt that this era of terrible music won't end and if it does, not any time soon sad to say. Rap is way out of control, you don't even need any talent to "rap", you just sort of talk, but you have to talk like your a big shot and you can do whatever you want, and then rhyme a few words with the same word or something that doesn't make sense, but just rhymes... Like I said, there are exceptions to the music of now, I think the Darkness is one of them also, really good band, awesome rhythm work, nice solos, chords-not power chords, good singing, drumming, and bass. People really are just using music for money now, most bands don't really care about the music, they just make something simple and catchy that will make them loads of money, but be like the most talentless and pathetic song?! You're right, the bands getting grammy's are a joke! One last thing to end this and prove a BIG point.... LIMP BIZKIT made it into the rock 'n roll hall of fame (i think last year or this year)...how disgraceful is that!!!!! That proves right there how bad nowadays 'rock' has gotten.

---I saw someone said they are a lefty also who plays guitar, not brother al (i already knew that when he sent me pics from a gig his band played, and pedalboard pics and stuff)... But, I'm a lefty but play guitar righty... Once I started playing guitar my dad was going to get me a left handed guitar since I am left handed, I tried it, but just couldn't do it, my right hand just couldn't work the neck... so I just stuck with playing regular right handed guitars. Seems like it worked out though, my left hands fingers can really fly on the neck, and when I need to do tapping, my right hand fingers can handle doing some 8 finger tapping, which sounds so sick! Or, do some chordal tapping (like Satch's midnight). That's all for now, just stopped playing guitar, figured out a few more Thin Lizzy songs I never taught myself.
