OCPS470- I wish you the best of luck with your music. Guys like yourself make it enjoyable to read and post messages on this website. You would blow me away standing side by side playing (I feel your that good). The nice thing is you don't have a big ego! You don't put people down. I notice in past posts you give advice. I think Joe would be proud of you all! This messageboard is full of Good Karma. And that is what keeps Joes fans together. Being a guitarist I don't want to compete against others. I want to work together. I know what you mean about sending CDs out. Since 1999 I have sent out MANY CDs. And about 1/4 of them turned out to become clients. The clients I do get, pass on the word about my music. I no longer have to spend a lot of time on the Internet sending e-mails out trying to get new clients. People contact me for a CD. I am now building my fan base. If someone is interested I will send my CDs to them at no cost. If you get some free time, feel free to check out my music at www.artistgigs.com/deangaspardo I also have a small list of projects my music has been used for. If you like my music I would be more than happy to send my CDs out to you. I hope this message will turn into a guitar friendship. Until the next time Take Care!

Do The Stu-...You're right, we are a big family here...that's why I knew I could come here for some support...and I really appreciate your well wishes. I don't feel like going into a lot of details at the moment...but basically it involves the health of my parents, my sister's wedding which is coming up very soon, and my career goals which need to be achieved and sustained very soon. Everyone in my family has been a bit stressed out over these issues, but I know everything is going to work out splendidly...and I'll share the good news with you soon...thanks for your prayers!

Do The Stu You're most likely right...Someone I know told me that, shouldn't have believed them anyway...especially when I know they have no clue on what they usually ever talk about. But still, pretty much proves a point...they are having bands like Limp Bizkit play at the rock and roll hall of fame, and others like Britney Spears and Justin Timberlink...very sad!

muzic4me5150 I feel bad for the kids growing up these days. Yeah, I am a kid growing up these days, only 17. LUCKILY for me, my dad pretty much got me listening to the right stuff at a very early age. He would take me to shows with him, I've seen Peter Frampton, Air Supply, Rush, Supertramp, and many others... Which all led me in the right direction and kept me away from listening to crap. I eventually did begin listening to stuff that is good, I picked up listening to Satch a few years back, don't remember how I heard of him, but I did one of those deals, 12 CD's for 1 cent (not real, but still an awesome deal, you just pay shipping, like $3.50 a CD and only buy one CD at full price) I got like 7 Satch CD's, one or two Vai CD's, an Eric Johnson CD, and a Malmsteen CD. Saw Satch live this summer with Deep Purple and Thin Lizzy, Deep Purple was absolutely amazing (my dad went with me, we heard it on the radio, he always wanted to see Thin Lizzy, too bad it wasn't the original Thin Lizzy, and I wanted to see Satch, so we got tickets. Thin Lizzy was ok, way too loud and faster than tey should have been, Satch was amazing! and Deep Purple totally impressed me, never was a huge fan of them, but after that, you better believe it! I really got into the oirginal Thin Lizzy this year, have like 6 or 7 CD's of theirs, amazing band. But, I never really liked any popular music of today, it all pretty much sucks, with a few exceptions. Like I said, luckily on my part, my dad brought me up listening and seeing REAL bands that played REAL music. Every show I've gone to has been totally amazing...except for a Motley Crue tribute band, way too '80s hair metal for me!

-Let's all hope real rock will come back and take over again! All this new age crap is terrible! We can only hope for the best...maybe it will all change again....probably a long time though...

aussieRGman, I'm guessing you used a heavier guage of strings. Most guitars are set up for standard 9-42's. Let's assume yours is. If you use 10's you're putting more string tension against spring tension and therefor pulling the bridge off it's "zero" return point.

Stevee T, I never actually checked it before....since you asked, I had a look, and it's not a real Donnie....it's a homemade custom job on a Radius. Here's the link anyway, just so you can see! It still looks kinda bling! hehe - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33043&item=7310461410&rd=1

"The old Floyd Rose had had it so it has been replaced with a new Maverick Floyd Rose"......Maverick?!?

Also, check out this Reb Beach model - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33043&item=7309812154&rd=1 - unreal!

And "chromeboy" number 393 - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33043&item=7311260021&rd=1

Good to hear your guitar lesson turned out so well! Tell us more...

Delfino, yeah forward, so any clocks you haven't changed need the time putting forward an hour. I'm surprised your computer didn't say something when you switched it on!
AARRGGHHH God DAMMIT. I get this sinking feeling every time I see a Washburn Nuno model on ebay, especially a mint condition Relic N4

If anybody can donate 1200 quid to my Nuno Appreciation Fund I'll be very greatful! haha

Back from Cuba, first and foremost, to borrow a word from Cuth, Stevee T you bastage, a lesson with Greg Howe!!! You must tell all!

Zen, I would like to know which of Greg's albums you have actually listened too to classify him as ordinary and conventional!!! Vous n'avez pas raison de tout sur Greg!!! Greg may not be an innovator of style but he can play many many styles fluidly and with technical perfection.. Stevee T correct me if i am wrong but his fingers look very very long no?

Cuth, bad news unfortunately on the "Cubic Roots" project.. The telephone directories are divided into "Orientale" and "Occidentale" and I only had access, even in the post office of Guardalavaca to the "orientale" or eastern book.

Hello to all, I must now read thousands of e-mails posts etc and get back into the swing!!!

Yes, Greg's fingers are perfect instruments themselves...long slender & strong...great for piano, guitar, and I'm sure many other instruments! Already booked another lesson in a few weeks!! Greg Howe lesson....I'll have to write a book for the time I spent with him.....He's a very humble cool...extremely nice guy...aside from his tremendous abilities as a musician....great sense of humor too!

just sent it to www.talk2joecd2hotmail.com...it wouldn't allow me to send it?
