Zinc Master - I was flipping channels while I was eating lunch earlier today...they said that the finger was about 1 1/2 inches long. I think that's too big to be eaten accidentally.

This reminds me of the syringe / soda can scare that happened about 10 years ago...

LucySorets - I've only listened to I On U once...I loved it immediately. Just think of it as its own thing...don't try to compare it to his previous work, or to stuff you're used to hearing from guys like Satriani or Vai. Take it for what it is and you'll probably love it.

There is no answer!

Teri Schiavo is dying. She can not talk, bath herself, eat, cry, or laugh. She has no self actualization. She is being kept alive by man not God. In 2002 on Janurary 23rd I had to take my son off of life support. It was the hardest decision I ever made. I constantly second guess myself but there is no correct answer. No one is Starving her of food just like I didnt starve my son of oxygen, he just couldn't breath on his own. So are they playing god by feeding Terri, or by not feeding her?

Sitting here weeping deeply!

Namm Man

My heart goes out to you. I'm so sorry to hear that about you and your son.

Hey there Keniko,
I can't beleiev it... I was reading your bio on your website...
and we both took lessons at that Lyon & Healy in Oakbrook.
I remember my teacher having such big hands & fingers that I thought there is no way he could play the guitar. turns out he would play Classical like a dream! I started learning from him that same time you did and Joe... when Hendrix died. I was greatly influenced by the Allman Bros Band, Clapton and Santana early on. But later turned to Jeff Beck, Trower and Joe. I never looked back since!!!
Cool!!! We have kinda the same roots? I know we have the same stompin grounds, but WOW! Sounds Like Vai and Joe.

Okay, a couple of funnies........number one......

Interesting observations on life:

1) When I die, I want to die like my grandfather--who died peacefully in his sleep. Not screaming like all the passengers in his car.. --Author Unknown

2) Advice for the day: If you have a lot of tension and you get a headache, do what it says on the aspirin bottle: "Take two aspirin" and "Keep away from children." --Author Unknown

3) "Oh, you hate your job? Why didn't you say so? There's a support group for that. It's called EVERYBODY, and they meet at the bar." --Drew Carey

4) "The problem with the designated driver program, it's not a desirable job, but if you ever get sucked into doing it, have fun with it. At the end of the night, drop them off at the wrong house" --Jeff Foxworthy

5) "If a woman has to choose between catching a fly ball and saving an infant's life, she will choose to save the infant's life without even considering if there is a man on base." --Dave Barry

6) "Relationships are hard. It's like a full time job, and we should treat it like one. If your boyfriend or girlfriend wants to leave you, they should give you two weeks' notice. There should be severance pay, the day before they leave you, they should have to find you a temp." --Bob Ettinger

7) "My Mom said she learned how to swim when someone took her out in the lake and threw her off the boat. I said, 'Mom, they weren't trying to teach you how to swim.'" --Paula Poundstone

8) "A study in the Washington Post says that women have better verbal skills than men. I just want to say to the authors of that study: "Duh." --Conan O'Brien

9) "Why does Sea World have a seafood restaurant?? I'm halfway through my fish burger and I realize, Oh my God.... I could be eating a slow learner." --Lynda Montgomery

10) "I think that's how Chicago got started. Bunch of people in NewYork said, 'Gee, I'm enjoying the crime and the poverty, but it just isn't cold enough. Let's go west.'" --Richard Jeni

11) "If life were fair, Elvis would be alive and all the impersonators would be dead." --Johnny Carson

12) "Sometimes I think war is God's way of teaching us geography." --Paul Rodriguez

13) "My parents didn't want to move to Florida, but they turned sixty and that's the law." --Jerry Seinfeld

14) "Remember in elementary school, you were told that in case of fire you have to line up quietly in a single file line from smallest to tallest. What is the logic in that? What, do tall people burn slower?" --Warren Hutcherson

15) "Bigamy is having one wife/husband too many. Monogamy is the same." --Oscar Wilde

16) "Suppose you were an idiot .. And suppose you were a member of Congress . . But I repeat myself." --Mark Twain

17) "Our bombs are smarter than the average high school student. At least they can find Afghanistan." --A. Whitney Brown

18) "You can say any foolish thing to a dog, and the dog will give you a look that says, 'My God, you're right! I never would've thought of that!'" --Dave Barry

19) Do you know why they call it "PMS"? Because "Mad Cow Disease" was taken. --Author Unknown, presumed deceased

and for number two (my favorite, especially since I'm a government worker!!)

SMART CATS

Four men were bragging about how smart their cats are.

The first man was an Engineer, the second man was an accountant, the third man was a Chemist, the fourth was a Government Employee.

To show off, the Engineer called to his cat, "T-square, do your stuff."

T-square pranced over to a desk, took out some paper and a pen and promptly drew a circle, a square, and a triangle. Everyone agreed that was pretty smart.

But the Accountant said his cat could do better. He called his cat and said, "Spreadsheet, do your stuff."

Spreadsheet went out into the kitchen and returned with a dozen cookies. He divided them into 4 equal piles of 3 cookies each. Everyone agreed that was good.

But the Chemist said his cat could do better. He called his cat and said, "Measure, do your stuff."

Measure got up, walked over to the fridge, took out a quart of milk, got a 10 ounce glass from the cupboard and poured exactly 8 ounces without spilling a drop. Everyone agreed that was good.

Then the three men turned to the Government Employee and said, "What can your cat do?".

The Government Worker called to his cat and said, "CoffeeBreak, do your stuff."

Coffee Break jumped to his feet, ate the cookies, drank the milk, shit on the paper, screwed the other three cats, claimed he injured his back while doing so, filed a grievance report for unsafe working conditions, put in for Workers Compensation and went home for the rest of the day on sick leave.
