Namm Man, so very, very sorry, God bless and keep you and your family in His arms.

Michelle, awesome words, as usual. So sorry for all your pain as well.

We really just have to cherish each other and our time together......

And Steven, how way cool is that!! I hope with all my heart that it all works out so you can see Joe, you will be so blown away, you'll be floating off the ground for days, weeks, months afterwards! Bet you won't be able to stop smiling either!! Mari, you are the best!!

Hey Austin, I've sent you a couple e-mails but I'm betting they didn't go through...had some travel details, hotel, etc in them so we can try to hook up for Anaheim and Ventura shows, etc...did you ever get them?

And same to Steven and Mark (bahduh), more e-mails sent your way...did you get them?

Silent_Shady, glad I could send a smile your way today!! My very weird friend at work (he's a government worker, too! :) keeps me busy reading all kinds of stuff and I try to pass on the best of it...otherwise I'd really have to post whore and get in trouble, cuz he sends massive amounts!!

And now, I'm starting to miss my son, he's been gone with his dad since last Sunday, and I feel the need to give him a hug, but he won't be home till Sunday morning...feeling kind of sad with all the tragedys in the world...as Stevee T said, I guess the best we can do is live life to it's fullest, enjoy and appreciate every day and each other always....hugs out to everyone here, you're all very special.........

Tracie, I know I'm not your son, but here's a BIG cyberhug to cheer you up :) LOL!

Lucy, if you want to see more of Nathan East, as well as many other fantastic guitar players, get yourself the Eric Clapton CROSSROADS Guitar Festival DVD if you don't have it yet. One of the rockingest songs on that cd (IMO) is If I Had Possession Over Judgement Day, which has Clapton on guitar, Nathan East on bass, and a second guitar player that slips my mind at the moment, but it's cool as hell! Other artists are Steve Vai, Eric Johnson, Joe Walsh, Buddy Guy, BB King, Santana, Larry Carlton, John McLaughlin and many other greats :) Oh yeah, as for Dave Weiner's cd - FANTASTIC! I love it! It really puts a smile on your face. Go to www.DaveWeiner.com to order it. Check this out -

NEW NEWS FROM DAVE WEINER ~

"I guess the biggest news is the release ..or re-release.. of my cd "Shove The Sun Aside." I released it in June independantly and want to thank every one who has picked it up since then directly from me. But I got an offer from Vai's label, Favored Nations, to distribute it worldwide. Even though I love doing everything myself, I haven't experienced what it's like to be backed by a label, so I couldn't pass up the offer.

It hits the street Tuesday, March 22. You'll still be able to purchase through this site or on Favorednations.com. Also you can find it in Best Buy, Virgin, Tower, Borders, Musicland, Hastings, Newbury Comics and a bunch of Indie stores. You can also find it online at Amazon, FYE, Wherehouse, CD Universe, etc. "

VERY COOL!! Go Dave!

His T-shirts are available online now too. I gots ta git me a Dave Weiner shirt! I even get nailed with the 6% sales tax! lol! It'll be cool wearing it around here since he lives (his parents) a few miles from here. That's so cool! lol!

I haven't been to his site for a few weeks. I have to go have a look around. There are also sound clips there for his cd.

edit - I got an error message and had to try to post that quick or I would have lost it. PHEW!

I'm 11 pages behind, and for some reason, I'm answering stuff from page 11 backwards to page 1. Don't know if I'll get to page 1, and by the time I do I might forget what I answered on pages 9, 10, and 11. Knowhatimean?

rockarolla 70 - Joe isn't directly in charge fo the ticket packages, a company called Fanfire is. At this point, any questions you have should be directed to them.

cheese101 - No, I didn't get your emails. Can you send them again? The last email I received from you was something along the lines of "Thanks for the info, I'll look at some hotels and get back to you."... That was a few weeks ago.

I also wrote to him and got a letter back with my beyond the thunder cd liner signed. I just got back from a Vai concert yesterday and on the tables where everyone was sitting was a flyer for a band called "soul circus" or something.... Neal Schon along with a few others (old lead singer for yngwie i believe) are in this new band... Im gonna check them out this april here in falls church Va....

aadityakalsi > Hi !! was going thru your message .. and I presume that you are thinking that G3 is coming to India. Sorry to say this .. its not G3 which is coming its .. Joe Satriani and his bandwagon alone who are coming.

Joe is touring India not G3.

Which one of the gig you are going to attend ?

I saw this special on VH1 tonight about the formation of Velvet Revolver. It was pretty cool. I had no idea that Slash and Duff were so involved in helping Scott Weiland clean himself up. I respect those guys much more now...

Dr Mindcrime - Yeah, Neal's band is Soul Sirkus. They were supposed to open Van Halen's California shows last August, but Eddie said no to that idea... I wish I could've seen them there.

Deen Castronovo (Journey's drummer) is also in Soul Sirkus.

rockarolla 70 - Yeah...sorry, I thought you already knew their website address. It's http://www.fanfire.com/.

LucySorets, :-) I'm really pleased you're enjoying Mourning Widows.....I guess it was a bit of a gamble, but it paid off!

Many thanks to you for checkin out my tunes! I'm going to re-do some of them at some stage, when I can be bothered. Juggling Karma definitely needs redoing, I completely rushed it! hehe, I think I completed the whole thing in 5 or 6 hours, so it's pretty messy.....I guess the idea is there though!

Regards Dave Weiners album - I got it, I liked it, but haven't listened to it very much. I guess it's kinda tricky fo him, cause a debut album is always meant to be big, bold and setting the standard, but having seen him/heard him play in the Vai band, it's tricky for him to do anything like that, so it comes up a little cold.....that's just my thoughts on it. It's good though....

Wow, nice photos! Thanks Lucia!

I watched the Satch and Vai sets of G3 '03 again last night.....Joe you rock too much dude! haha, I love the Silver Surfer guitar, it's beautiful! We also watched Vai's Astoria DVD again....I'm finally getting back into a Vai mood!
marimariSRV, how would you feel about travelling out to, say, Austin Texas to see an Eric Johnson show? Basically, my mum (mom) and I are planning to make a trip out to the US to see some people, probably next February. EJ usually plays in his local states, so Texas is just a complete guess, but an educated one! hehe. Having seen him, I'm hoping Andy Timmons would be playing nearby cause he's from Texas too, but if not, maybe we'd fly to Cali and see a Joe show or Vai or something, or just go back to a national park....anyway, the main priority is EJ, it'd be great to meet you for a show, since you're something of a regular and know what to expect, and cause I was annoyed that I just missed seeing you when you came over here last year!
