estrela: Thanks. It doesn't look like a good evening so far. but still thanks. You too. how is everything?
Guitarmiester: I think it was 6. I couldn't belive it when I saw that. Kirk Hammett was like 2nd or 3rd there. Kirk mose less I don't care but how can Joe be 6th? He has a great sound. what makes someone qualified to judge sound?

Steevie T - I checked out your website and i'm well impressed, especially with the really atmospheric, ambient track on it. Seriously cool!!! How did you manage it dude? So much time and dedication required over the years. I'd love to be able to do that! Don't get me wrong, i've got the ability to pursue it you know but it's tough even with a fantastic wife at home. Any tips?

Jairzinho...thanks for checking my site, and your positive feedback. Tips?...1st: Build a studio that will enable you to record with relative ease. 2nd: When I practice I always have the studio in record mode, and my guitar is always tuned...just in case that special moment occurs I can capture it without having to set levels. 3rd: Love what you play, play what you love. 4th: Never give up. 5th: and most important...Love that wonderful wife of yours...she's probably your strongest ally...IMHO of course! lol

962: Well, I've been in Miami (en route to Key West for family vacation) and (I don't want to sound mean here) but Miami seems like too much of a big dirty city. Too busy, too crowded, and too many people that think they can come to America without learning to communicate with the rest of us. I live in Lake Mary which is near Orlando. The actual downtown Orlando is relatiely small, but pretty, with nice people and not overly crowded. What is referred to as Orlando is actually all of the I-4 (main intertate highway) corridor including Disney (which is actually almost 30 min from the city of Orlando, and Universal....as well as where I live. I like my area because it could probably be described as being like California, minus the polution and overcrowding. In the summer things can get pretty hot, and cold in the winter sometimes (usually never worse than low thirties for a few days). Right now things are in the 70's and nice. Sure we have hurricanes, but Orlando is relatively cushioned. It's actually cool having the theme parks close, I have an annual Universal pass so I can ride the coasters whenever I get the urge. And Daytona Beach is an hour from my house if you like that sort of thing. Anyway, that's the run down.

silent_shady....actually, I don't get high any more...it has the opposite effect...I'm much more creative when my senses are in tact..a little tequila to take the edge off, however, helps to calm the frazzled nerves...I can hear in Joe's playing that he does not either...

Nick: Thanks man.
Stevee T: Nice. sounds good. I don't drink or do drugs or anything, but right now my senses are telling me "run to the bathroom dinner is coming back out." Flu sucks. there seems to be some sorta of a order of how flu travels around here. Now I sound like the dude from final destination. Take care man. I hope you lead us to the future (lol) and sorry to hear about your gf's mom man. I hope things work out for the best.
I don't know what's the deal with schools lately. Yesterday some kids got stabbed in school. Come on when I went to school the worst that could happen was someone punching a window and bleed for a while(happend a lot for some reason). Killing eachother is school is big bullshit.

Hmm I'm still considering my idea of fitting my telecaster with a bigsby...as well as a seymour duncan hotrail as the lead pickup and vintage as the rhythm pickup.
Also, the compulsary adjustment to my telecaster is the beer bottle tops that will be placed on the volume and tone controls...

I don't know what you all think, but "Spizazz" is the number 1 fan and would, without a doubt, be the best choice for interviewing Joe. Let's all get our votes in and be sure to vote for "Spizazz" if you haven't sent in a vote already.
Go Spizazz!!!!! We'll see you in Anaheim!!! Sharkie

silent_shady Yeah, I think it was like #6, I couldn't believe it when I saw him on the list. So many people wish they could sound like he does, so many people buy his exact setup, guitars, amps... The G1 editors must be idiots. Most of the list was agreeable, not a big fan of Metallica, have a few of their stuff, even though Hammet was taught by Satch, I still don't think Hammet is that great, nothing special about him or his playing. Satch has a better tone than most people, bands now all sound the same, scooped mids and all that crap. Don't want to complain about it much, I was mad enough when I first saw it, don't need to get started again.
--Back into the bad mood I'm in!?!?! Don't know why I went back into it!?!?!?! Just sorta happened and isn't going away!? I'll be back later, off to play some Satriani for a while, then maybe watch the San Fran DVD for a while, I don't know, this really sucks big time!?! Hope everyone else is doing good, cause I'm not... yeah, this really sucks for me.... :^{

I asked this before, didn't get any responses on it... any know the settings Joe used on his Marshall amps? Or even the settings he uses on his JSX? Playing around with my tone right now, working on getting close to the sound I want, just getting ideas and stuff. :^{ <----hopefully that will go away for me soon!!!

Nick: Yeah, what's the point? I don't get it! have a bad day and hey maybe killing some ppl from school will make me feel better?? WTF???
Phil: Thanks man. it really sucks. atleast it's not summer yet. I'd probably have pneumonia. How are you man? how is everything?
Stevee T: The ppl will decide who the #1 fan is :P
Guitarmiester: It's all wrong man. I was pissed for days when I saw that. Sounds like someone just picked random names and put them on the list. maybe someone agrees with that list. MORONS ALL OF THEM!!!! fucking bullshit.

silent_shady Exactly. I wonder if they got tons of bad emails, I bet they did, but the pretty much asked for it doing that top 10 list. That whole list was pretty bad now that I think about it, most of them shouldn't have been on there, there are so many others that could have filled that list easily, total morons at G1, or whoever did that!

silent_shady...I think the people will choose, what they will choose by whatever criteria they might have...weather it's the number one fan...which I truely don't think what this is about, or otherwise.
But, it's fun, and exciting, and very nice of Joe to GIVE such a chance to ALL of his fans....wouldn't you agree...my son? lol
