MUzic4me5150:You made a very good choice! Majestic Beginnings is great track!!I can't wait to listen to Talk2Joe 2nd!!! So many great musicians from Satchland!!!

SteveeT: Man!! you have to decide on one track!!!All of your songs are soooo beautiful!!!yes, i think it should be difficult to decide! wow! i can't wait!

Jazzzzy: Hi dear! then your computer decided to take some days off!!!!Striking computer?heheheh...I hope you can fix it asap! Nice evening amigo!!!

Zenfish:yes, i understand you, actually i do not appreciate movies with to many blood...but, let's try to get the message behind the images...right? Have a nice monday!

MArimariSRV: Hey Mari! that is great! five friends together! all of you will have such a great time with Joe!!!You are right, God makes everything possible! We have just to open our hearts to him, to think of Him and feel the power and see the light!!! And there are no words to express the feeling of sharing great moments with other people!!!!;-)))

Cheese101: I loved your email! You have a great history of life, i imagine all the tough time you had to face...but you are a brave woman! you won! you win every single day!! I hope Chris is with you at this moment, after a week ...I'll send an email soon! A big hug!!

Suzie2000: Hi Suzie! Yes, if we can work it out. I just love England and Europe....can't get enough of traveling and seeing shows. I need to start getting paid to be on tour, damn it.....hehe!! I hope it's not too much of an inconvience for you and your husband. Congratulations on your pianio exam!! I know it must have taken a lot of hard work and dedication. I look forward to hearing you play! :))

962: Simon, I'd LOVE to go to Texas to see EJ with you!! When were you looking to do so? I am limited in the summer months since I can't have off when someone else is off....Hopefully we can figure something out. I'd love to go to the next Clapton Cross Roads Festival, I think it's next year in June. I'll try to remember to ask Steve Vai when I talk to him Wed night. The top 3 Digital SLR camera choices are.............. Overall Ranking: #1 Canon EOS 20D #2 Nikon D70 #3 Konica Minolta Maxxum 7D ........ FOR IMAGE QUALITY: CANON, FUJIFILM FINEPIXS3 PRO, NIKON D70 .......EASE OF USE: KONICA MINOLTA Maxxun 7D, CANON EOS 20D, Pentax *ist DS.......CONTROL: Canon EOS 20D, Nikon D70, Konica Minolta Maxium 7D....System Flexibility: Canon EOS20D, Nikon D70, Konica Minolta Maxxum 7D The April 2005 issue of popular Photography & Imaging just happened to know that we were interested in Digital Cameras. haha!! I hope this helps! I also talked to my firend who works at the camers store and he really liked the Fuji...it has 12.3 MP but a higher price tag......$2350 for the body only. The Canon seems like an excellent camera.

Slanshroom: Hey Roy! how are you?! So kuul that I was talking to Ronnie on the tele and he was talking to you on the computer. He thought about calling you so I could say hello but it ws too late with the time difference. I think Ronnie did a real nice job on your new website. I can't believe how long you hair is. Steve VAi's hair is really long since last June. My hairdresser keeps cutting mine.....have to give her a talkin to! I love that photo of you on the "About Roy" page. I guess Tura took that, nice job. Your eyes just kill me, like SV says " the windows to the soul" It would be great to do some photos of you someday. Hopefully you can quit that construction someday soon. You are so talented and your beautiful music deserves to be heard by everyone........God Bless.

mari

it's 7pm and I'm going to bed! I've got to get some sleep for another big night with SV......I hope to get some amazing photos! Later.

Steven Wilde- You have to have a program to record MP3's. I use MusicMatch. If you go to goggle search and type in free download mp3 players. you should get something basic that you can download from that link. Just enough to record mp3s on your computer. Then send it in the e-mail attachment. Don't be so hard on yourself my friend! What don't kill you makes you stronger!! Hang in there!

Howdy to one and all...

Haven't posted much lately. Trying to get a new car loan approved....very stressful process. By Friday I'll either be elated or *really* pissed off. ;-)

And I just found out today that both Judas Priest and Queensryche will be playing at the Nissan Pavilion in northern VA exactly one week after my birthday. I'm a going :)

Guitarmiester- I want to Thank your Dad for the guidance he has given you. I think that is SO COOL that you guys go to concerts together! I have a 10 year old daughter who loves to sit and watch me when I record my music. She is showing a lot of interest in the instruments. So I am aready guiding her in the same direction your Dad is you! LOL. THERE IS STILL HOPE!!!! ;) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Estrela- Thank you for the kind words. I was getting a little worried thinking I was bitting off more than I can chew! I have been listening to other guitarists on the website and they just blow me away!!! VERY VERY talented musicians!!!! Suzie2000....great, great, great!!! Glad you think we T2J people are cool...you're right...imagine if you will, and oasis where everyone who enters loves this Great Talented, Gracious Man (Joe Satriani), and we gather due to his good vibe created first through music...borne of his soul...and the miracle continues....

Steven Wilde...peace out Bubba!

=================================================

estrela...thanks for the compliments...they land in a wanting place...I have 3 songs that I've specifically created for the T2J 2 CD..I've polled around 20-30 people I know to ask which song they think would be the best selection. There was a majority, and turns out Greg Howe agreed...without knowing in advance...with the majority...so most likely I'll use that song...I've sent them all to death cube k, but for some reason...they are not being received by dck....maybe it's my Norton Anti-virus? Have a good night....Peace

muzic4me5150 Yeah, good thing my dad showed me real music at a very early age, or I could have just ended up being one of the many kids who just pick up guitar to be 'cool'...that would have sucked big time! My dad used to play drums in bands when he was growing up. When I was like 4, my dad had an old electric guitar and Fender amp that sat by his drum set, he didn't let me touch either, so I had to wait until he left the house so I could play the guitar... Finally when I was 5 my mom and dad caught on that I 'have' to play guitar, so they brought me out hunting for a new guitar and amp, and got me some lessons. We went all over the place looking for a guitar and amp, ended up getting a Fender Strat and an old Crate 30 watt amp. I picked up guitar real fast, my teacher, my dad, and me would jam on weekends (was really cool to jam with them). I eventually moved onto another teacher who taught me reading and writing music...quit with the guy once he kept doing the same stuff over and over, and have been teaching myself new things since I was 10, like theory, soloing, improv, and tons of techniques. Once I started listening to Satch, Vai, Johnson, Hendrix, Malmsteen...those guys really taught me how to solo (not literally, but I really advanced in soloing by listening and watching those guys). I play guitar for hours and hours every day...hopefully and maybe one day I'll be known...I'll try my hardest to be known, I'll keep working no matter what. I spend sooo much money on equipment, it's crazy, I've probably spent more on equipment than kids my age have ever even saved up (unless they are some rich kids who's parents throw money at them). Dedication really goes a long way, along with being brought up on the right stuff and seeing how it all pays off by performing in front of crowds and making CD's that many enjoy. I'll just have to keep working until I get noticed or picked up by someone...dedication man...I'm never stopping!

marimariSRV About the Vai shows...Do they let people bring cameras? And if so, can I take pictures during the show or do I have to wait for the aftershow when I meet Vai and the Breed? This is gonna be awsome, never saw Vai and the Breed live yet, other than DVD, but from the reviews, his new CD, and his DVD's, it's going to be amazing! Have you gotten any aftershow passes for any other shows you've been at so far? If so, what do you get to do?

marimariSRV Forgot to mention this, did you get a chance to see the paper from this Saturday? There was a short part on Vai (nice photo on the front of the section), short story in the middle, and then story from Billy Sheehan on the back, nice photo also. If you haven't seen it, try to find someone with it, really cool. They wouldn't care if I bring in a little disposable camera and took pics during the show, would they? I hope I don't just have to wait till after the show to take pics, I wanna get some live pictures of them all playing! Wish I took pics when I saw Satch in the summer...but I'll see him again when he's around.
