HAHAHAHA! Yea, well don't let it go to your head! You know, sometimes we women do agree with you men! ha! I love the lyrics you posted...keep em' coming, I think I may actually use those in an email to the parents about the Profiency Party the PTO wants to have. There are too many people complaining and not many willing to step up to the plate. Well, I am and I'm a damn good batter!

JAZZY The pictures you took are fantastic! I am a HUGE Sardinas fan and the first picture of him at the mic is... well....it's...WOW! That man rocks my socks off! Not to mention his band....his drummer NEVER stops and Paul on the bass is just soooooo freaking amazing! I can't wait to see them on May 18th here at the Rhythm Room. I used to see him alot when we lived in CA. Always at the Blue Cafe....God I miss it there. Well, thanks again for sharing the pics. Muchos Gracias!

Hey there, I saw your post about the String Quartet and Summer Song and I wanted to share with you what we did for our wedding this past October. We had the song AWMAWY play and at the same time we projected the video up on this huge screen at the front of the church. I know, most brides would want all eyes on her but I'm not like that and this is my second wedding anyways and Joe had to be the center of attention:) Sooooo, I waited and walked down right before the solo and it was magical. Everyone turned around, got up and looked at me, yet the music was going and it was to die for. It was everything I had ever dreamt of since I first heard Joe's guitar back in 1990! We had nothing but Joe playing as guests were seated and after the recessional. By the way, our recessional was, Blitzkrieg Bop by the Ramones. Hee hee! Check out our Biography at The Knot and The Nest , http://talk.thenest.com/talk/talk_profileview.html?profilename=MsBubbles It has all the music information that we had for our entire ceremony and reception. At the bottom of that biography you can click to go to our "knot" biography too. :) Good Luck to you:)

Well everyone, time for me to go and check on these pool guys....they are draining our pool today! Hope everyone has a fantastic day today! I'll be back later! oh shoot! One more thing... MAIRE!!!!! Girlie.....how have you been????? My email's the same over at hotmail.....we need to catch up!!!!!!! Love you!

Sheila

Cool to see I am not the only one who used Joe's music in thier wedding. We played Thinking of You when we did the slide show. I really had to talk my wife into letting me use a Joe track. I wanted AWMAWU but she was really against the massive guitar solo in the middle of our wedding. lol During rehearsal the sound guy did not turn off the CD before the next song started and the massive guitar screech at the opening of the next track came on, and it got a pretty good reaction there let me tell ya.

I also wanted to name my son Joe but the wife put the kabash on the one too. So we went with Zachary (Wylde) Michael (Scehnker) Flagg instead.
Oh, and nice ta meet ya, nice talking to ya. Good night and God bless.

Hey everyone, just woke up from yesterday's performance in Vancouver. The show was amazing. 2h45 minutes of high speed fingering Joe Satriani. Of course we assisted the sound check in the late afternoon and Joe performed 7 songs of which 4 were not on his set list. We met Jeff and Joe while we were doing the stage tour and John the organizer of the platinum package was extremely helpful and nice. Then we got in the front row right in front of Joe's pedals. We had an amazing time. After the show, we got to meet Joe and got a few things signed up and off we were in the middle of the night. I had heard rumors that Joe was not approachable person. Well he is and he is extremely generous with his time. I recommend it to everyone.

You know, I wasn't really sure who it was. thanks for telling me. :) I did, however, perform a "google" search after reading your post and all that came up was this band called, "Against The Grain." And now I'm a bit curious about them. :)

Flagg

Nice to meet ya too! All I can say to your post is, "I love it!" I purposely made sure that I walked down AFTER the solo! hahahaha! I wanted everyone to be WOW'd...and they were! I think the video of Joe up made it easy to take! hahaha! LOVE your son's name. :) Thanks for sharing!

Ok...I want to join the ranks of those who tell awful jokes.

Three nuns are walking down the road when a streaker jumps of the bush right in front of them and flashes the nuns.

The first nun has a stroke, the second nun has a stroke, but the third nun doesn't touch him. :-)

Stevee T, could be either...Will I have a different reception if I go solo lol!!!! Did you get Katie Melua's phone number or are you footing the bill for me to meet and have a lesson with Greg????

Regardless of the scenario, I will be staying with, at least for part of my trip, an old friend who lives in Upper Saddle River NJ....

OCPS -The thing is, I never get nervous at gigs anymore. It's just pressure situations like exams or auditions that I just fall apart. Everything I played today I knew I could nail blindfolded on a good day, but when I'm actually in that situation everything just goes to shit. The band wasn't my actual band; it was a bunch of other students from ACM. We were slightly underprpared, but that's becaseu it's exam season so everyone has their own work to be getting on with which, of course, takes priority over helping anyone else out. It's also hard to find a time that suits everybody for rehearsal.
