...ew lol...

Especially if it was anything from McDonalds...they seem to get more cheese in the burger wrapper than on the actual burger...

Ooooh Yus, the beach level and the street level are my favourite two. I was playing the beach one last night. I always play that one really strategically, I'll take the Bravo squad onto the beach and round the back of the villa thing and proceed to go inside, after first causing a distraction with the Alpha team who I position behind a massive rock round the front. That way the 8 or so guards (depending on the difficulty setting) run to the front of the villa...then I take the Bravo team inside and control them as the alpha team take care of the guys at the front of the house I sneak up behind the enemy and massacre them.

From my wacky friend at work, a thoughtful one:

Too many people put off something that brings them joy just because they haven't thought about it, don't have it on their schedule, didn't know it was coming or are too rigid to depart from their routine.

I got to thinking one day about all those women on the Titanic who passed up dessert at dinner that fateful night in an effort to cut back. From then on, I've tried to be a little more flexible.

How many women out there will eat at home because their husband didn't suggest going out to dinner until after something had been thawed? Does the word "refrigeration" mean nothing to you?

How often have your kids dropped in to talk and sat in silence while you watched 'Jeopardy' on television?

I cannot count the times I called my sister and said, "How about going to lunch in a half hour?" She would gas up and stammer, "I can't. I have clothes on the line. My hair is dirty. I wish I had known yesterday, I had a late breakfast, It looks like rain." And my personal favorite: "It's Monday." .She died a few years ago. We never did have lunch together.

Because Americans cram so much into their lives, we tend to schedule our headaches.. We live on a sparse diet of promises we make to ourselves when all the conditions are perfect!

We'll go back and visit the grandparents when we get Stevie toilet-trained. We'll entertain when we replace the living-room carpet. We'll go on a second honeymoon when we get two more kids out of college.

Life has a way of accelerating as we get older. The days get shorter, and the list of promises to ourselves gets longer. One morning, we awaken, and all we have to show for our lives is a litany of "I'm going to," "I plan on," and "Someday , when things are settled down a bit."

When anyone calls my 'seize the moment' friend, she is open to adventure and available for trips. She keeps an open mind on new ideas. Her enthusiasm for life is contagious. You talk with her for five minutes, and you're ready to trade your bad feet for a pair of Rollerblades and skip an elevator for a bungee cord.

My lips have not touched ice cream in 10 years. I love ice cream. It's just that I might as well apply it directly to my stomach with a spatula and eliminate the digestive process. The other day, I stopped the car and bought a triple-decker. If my car had hit an iceberg on the way home, I would have died happy.

Now..go on and have a nice day. Do something you WANT to......not something on your SHOULD DO list. If you were going to die soon and had only one phone call you could make, who would you call and what would you say? And why are you waiting?

Have you ever watched kids playing on a merry go round or listened to the rain lapping on the ground? Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight or gazed at the sun into the fading night? Do you run through each day on the fly? When you ask "How are you?" Do you hear the reply?

When the day is done, do you lie in your bed with the next hundred chores running through your head? Ever told your child, "We'll do it tomorrow." And in your haste, not see his sorrow? Ever lo st touch? Let a good friendship die? Just call to say "Hi"?

When you worry and hurry through your day, it is like an unopened gift....Thrown away... Life is not a race. Take it slower. Hear the music before the song is over.

"Life may not be the party we hoped for... but while we are here we might as well dance!"

Have a Blessed Day!

Ok...I gotta post whore just once ;)

I was just stringing up my RGT42 when I accidently over-tightened the bolt on the bridge end of the E-string (yes I know I'm supposed to just "snug" it on, but I was doing the goo-goo / gaa-gaa thing with my baby girl and I was distracted)....anyways, of course I stripped the thread in the hole so now the bolt is useless and I can't keep the string tight anymore. I'm thinking that I can probably get by with just playing my Strat....but dammit I love that RG.....so I just removed the bolt and the small block of metal which the bolt presses against the string, and just ran a new string through the hole the bolt sat in.

Has anyone else here ever had to do this before? I think it will be fine except that the string will only be locked at one end....I can still fine tune the E-string if needed. Peace, SD

OCPS470, I didn't know that about Morse being a lefty playing righty! hah, you learn something new every day.
Delfino, haha, I always hit the beach with 3 snipers and a few assault for backup....my preference is always to do things at long range. But, on the city street map (which is amazing!!!!) you just have to go tactical. Regards creating a distraction - I presume you have the first Ghost Recon as well? I love doing a Lone Wolf mission on M06 (Castle at night) with just a sniper, on hard elite. You can pop a shot off then run a few hundred yards round left or right, and hordes of guards will run to where you originally were. Just keep doing the same thing round in one massive circle, it's so satisfying!
SupaaDave, I don't understand...if you stripped the bolt on the bridge end the how can you lock the string in? Regardless, all parts are replaceable. I would advise replacing it as soon as you can, cause while it might work without full functionality, it will change the load on the other parts/saddles/strings, and with a Floyd Rose type bridge being of such precise design, you want it in decent condition.

Ways Michael Jackson Can Repair His Image

10> Put on a happy face -- the one that's been in storage since the trial started.

9> Turn back time by re-installing nose #14 from September 1989.

8> Invade Iraq. Hey, it worked for you-know-who.

7> Use his masculine charms to woo Katie away from Tom.

6> Hire Phil Spector to produce killer new album.

5> Same way he repairs his face: spackle, bailing twine, duct tape, Super Glue and a trowel.

4> Step one: Find that other friggin' glove.

3> A public slapping-around of Macaulay Culkin would be a good start.

2> Change the name Neverland to Never-Been-Convicted-Yet-for- Bending-Little-Boys-Over-Like-a-Willow-Tree-in-an-86-Mile- an-Hour-Wind Land.

and the Number 1 Way Michael Jackson Can Repair His Image...

1> Quit hanging out with lawyers.

I hate snakes.

To me, the only thing that would be worse than getting bitten by a poisonous snake would be getting bitten by a snake that injected you with mayonnaise, because I *really* hate mayonnaise.

steveee t - thanks, one of the few bands i've ever been in that has radio friendly songs that are also good music. we're not making attempts to be radio friendly, but some of our songs end up turning out that way... we've also got more rockin' ones with rippin' guitar solos.

962....what I meant was that the (high E) string can still be locked at the nut. On the bridge side the string still has the ball end holding it in place. And considering that it's a cheapo Lo TRS II bridge, it is easily replaceable.
