MariMari looks like I'm starting that job tomorrow... well, at least I have a meeting there lol... I've been here since 5th November last year. Sounds like you're having fun snapping!!! :-)
Paul Sorry bro... I have 46 tracks in my T2JCD2 folder if that gives you an idea... read on...
The reason for this last delay from last night to this morning is that when we received the tracks we (well, I say we but it might just be me lol) saved them to a directory with the names they had when received. Not all were extremely descriptive of the artist & track title! This both helped and hindered: it helped because there was no "I know this guy and he's a mate so he has to be on" feeling - because I personally didn't know submitted what! It also hindered when we had a final track listing but again didn't necessarily know who did what and so couldn't report it!
Anyways, we're pretty sure these are the right names for artists and tracks. Please email the T2J team at the usual place(s) with any corrections. If you're on the list you need to get a CD to OCPS containing a 44.1kHz 16 bit stereo audio file of your track as soon as possible so we can get on and decide the track order and get the thing mastered.
Once again many thanks to everyone who submitted this time. Those of you who didn't make it, we still have some ideas in the pipeline that'll get you included in the project, but more of that another time.
On behalf of the team THANK YOU for your continued support in this project. It really wouldn't exist without you guys! My next post will be the track listing in no order.
Cheers, and Happy Fathers Day to all! Later... Dave

That's pretty much my point of view as well : Þ

WELL!!! Congratulations to all the musicians who will be on the next T2J2 cd, lots of us can hardly wait to hear it! And to all the guitarists who entered but didn't make it on this cd, take heart...you have some time to work on things in preparation for the next cd...just submitting a song and putting yourself out there takes lots of guts, determination and faith in yourself...
To the judges, a big round of thanks for all the work done so far, and for what's to come...your job was not and is not an easy one....
For all the dads, dads-to-be, and guys that "represent" a father figure in someone's life, a very Happy Father's Day to each one of you...we all need a dad to look up to whether we still have him or the memories of him...
Powerslave, Scott, tsk, tsk......your job is NOT to figure us women out, but to love and adore us regardless of what "spider genes" we were born with.....and to smush every spider as quickly as possible for those of us who didn't get the "hunt-and-kill-spiders" DNA....... just keep yer shoe in a state of constant readiness, and your lady will be much happier!! ;)
Joe, hope your Father's Day is a happy one and you and ZZ get to do something special together!

Delfino Pie...what liquid was used to create that beautiful work of art? lol
Thanks to all the hard work that Death Cube K, PhryDom & OCPS470 have done for this T2J2 CD effort, and to all of the behind the scenes peeps not mentioned, and to Mister Joe Satriani for his support + creating a place for us to gather to share the love of his music!

Mari- Thanks for your good luck! Also do you or maybe Bahduh know if it's possible to contact Steven by phone? We tried ringing the number that's on Steven's above the numbers website but it said it was disconnected? I realise you can't post it on here though.
Anyway take care
Suzie

MartLarose - Welcome to T2J. I dont doubt Joe has wanted EVH on a G3 tour but then again a lot of people question Eddie's skills these days. He was my idol till I saw him in concert, he wanks off on his guitar just as bad as Yngwie Malmsteen does these days which is quite sad. Both used to be extremely creative but are now boring and dull, Yngwie just uses the same runs over and over again to show off how fast he can play and Eddie, well lets just say he doesnt play nearly as well as he used to. I have a lot of guitar idols, dunno which one is my idol for say though but still, EVH lacks all of his creativity that he used to have.

Joe, Happy Fathers day mate, cheers and beers all around.
I hope all is well in Satchland for you people. Looks like my budget is gone now and I wont be buying the new gear I want for a while. Spent 330 bucks on my school ring, 10 karat gold so yea, middle of the road in terms of what you can get though so its not all bad. Bought my dad a Taylor made driver for his golf set seeing as how he was going to be getting one anyway, now he owes me a PSP lol. Actually he got me a set of clubs as a graduation present so i cant complain that much. Once summer is over im getting a custom Epiphone Dot hollowbody with Seymour Duncan Eric Johnson humbuckers, V neck and push/pull pot configuration

Lmao...good, my goal was achieved. I've actually saved all ten burp samples as a drum kit patch for Reason 2.5 so if anyone wants it give me a shout.
Stevee T
Those burps were artificial...as in they were caused with no liquid helper, they were caused by swallowing air and then forcing it back out again. :-)
I'm kinda' relieved that I didn't get on the T2J2 CD as looking back my track was a bag of wank.
I'll try again next time.
Congratulations to everyone who made it :-)
Delfino
P.S Tomorrow I've got two media exams, now these are the ones I am shitting-a-brick over. Please send some good vibes my way, I'll definitely need all the luck I can get.
