R6VFPaul according to this page the MRS1044CD has 44.1kHz non-compressed 16bit linear recording data format so we're OK so far. However it would be much preferred if you burned a data and not an audio CD... if it's a problem could you not import it into the computer and burn a data CD from there? If not, I guess just send an audio CD and Chris will convert it, is that OK Chris?

Dave Cool man, I think that the burn process saves the track in a 'data' format. The resultant CD is not playable on a normal stereo until it is 'finalised' (or whatever they call it), so I assume that must be a coversion to audio readable, I'll miss out the second process and hopefully that will just be the data. Congrats on the rain man and the new PSU, shame about the job but your ship will come in. Take it easy bro' :-)

Paul try burning a data CD and stick it in the computer. It should show up as a WAV file. If not, go ahead and send an audio CD.

VFRrocker: As long as your mixer can burn a cd that is playable in a cd player, I should be able to pop it into Sound Forge and strip your song off of the cd with zero problems. So just burn your song as a music cd.

Eric Johnson's new album is OK...but it's not compelling. It's a bit boring, so I don't feel a yearning to listen to it. Same goes for Steve Vai's latest. While it isn't boring, it's freaky to the point where it's distracting. There are too many sounds (noises) in each track...and no memorable melodies.
It seems these musical geniouses (Eric, Steve) have evolved to the point where music which makes them happy/content doesn't necessarily do it for me...anymore.
Given this trend, I wonder where Joe's next album will go. Generally speaking, I've enjoyed and appreciated both SBM and ITLIS (notwithstanding those two goofy vocal tracks). And Crystal Planet was a masterpiece.
But I wonder, is Joe's next album going to hit the nail on the head...or is going to meander around?

VFRocker...... I'm happy for you. It must be a great feeling . Good luck to you guys. Ever hear of the band Indigenous. They play Blues/Rock and are American Indians. They're all family. Mato is the older brother and plays guitar and sings. Wnadi is the sister and plays drums and the bass player is brother Pte. Talk about tight. How great that must be. I have 3 bros. and 1 sister. Things were great when we were young. Let's just say jeolousy and greed took over. End of story.
Cheese..... Glad the party went great. At 84 she does sound cute.
Mari...... Thanks for the kind words and the update on Steven. I'll let you know what happens at the audition. Got another email from a drummer today. Fine by me ...keep em comin'. How's your Vodka suppy?...lol....
Stevee T..... I agree. I liked cauliflower up untill Michelle's post...lol....
