Weehaa! The band is here again. Different line up this time. This dude bought in a few of his things to add to our drum kit. A double bass pedal and extra symbols *rubs hands together* Oh what fun I shall have with that!!

PhryDom......that Hendrix Strat would certainly be a worthy investment....but I don't think I could restrain myself from playing it all the time. That would mean taking off those original (huge) strings Jimi used....decreasing it's value. I was wondering why those guys are'nt selling it at an auction like Sothebys as opposed to E Bay....you would think they would get more $$$ selling it there. It would be nice to think that they're doing it so the "little guy" has a chance. But I don't know too many who have an extra $700,000 laying aroung to piss away. Peace, SD

PhryDom, yeah I never bothered analysing any of Steve's stuff either.....it doesn't lend itself to being analysed. I worked on the first 5 seconds of "Juice" from a book, and then got bored.
I personally think it would be nice if song books were split into two parts, so the first half of the book is full of simplified versions of the tracks, ie. the bits you hear and are always aware of.
Then the second half of the book could have full versions with al the dead notes and throw-away notes that you never notice until you read them in a transcription. This is what I have found hard work when looking at Vai and EJ stuff in the books I have.
Hmmm...that was badly explained. Did it make sense?! haha
Happily Married, I'm sorry to say we haven't seen mischievous for ages, or jazzzy or Austin or many more of the old regulars!
Congrats on your marriage!
Delfino, awesome, cheers dude! I promise I haven't forgotten about your stuff.....I might actually try sticking it all on a collection of CD's, cause it's easier than buying Nero and making a DVD. But a DVD would be better, and I'll need nero anyway! I'm so indecisive!

I hear ya SupaaDave I'd want to play it too!!!!
962 I know what you mean... Part I could be the "this is the gist of" section and Part II could be the "this is the really anal bit"! ;-) I remember Joe saying one time that he can't believe to what extent the transcribers go, and that the version on the album is probably a one off out of a dozen other takes the same day, each being slightly different with these almost inaudible notes, string noises, whatever.
