Benny, I really crack up listening to your little pronunciations - especially "mate". lmao! Have you left your mustache in half like that? Bet your a real looker now...mate. LOL!

VFR, here's the shirt, althought I think one that simply says "clusterfuck" is all you really need. LOL!

I ordered Petrucci's new cd 2 weeks ago hoping I would have it as a Father's Day gift for my husband, but I haven't even gotten an email saying it was sent yet. I did get a confirmation email that my order went through, but I don't think my husband would want to unwrap that tomorrow *sigh* Good thing I got him a few other things for back-up. lol!

The final track listing (not order) has been finalised for the second Talk2Joe CD. There are eighteen tracks, running to a total of roughly 78:51. We need to do some final checks on the artist & track names, and will report back here as soon as we can. Work continues on the artwork and a new look talk2joe.com website will follow accordingly.

Thank you to everyone who submitted a track - they were all very very good, and this CD was really tough to vote on for all concerned.

Watch this space and talk2joe.com for more news and updates as we have them.

OK I'm off to continue watching The Shining now, hope you're all enjoying your weekend. Dave

Hey All........just got back from Steve Winwood concert in Atlantic City, NJ. Most Excellent!!! I saw Collective Soul last night in Philly, I was front and center. Well there was 1 person in front of me......CS was playing tonight in AC at Trump Marina which is next to the Borgata where I saw SW. I was tempted to go and see the end of the show but I had a long ride home and I'm tired from last night. Besides I had on high heels and my feet were killing me! Looked good but the agony of de feet!! lol! Both shows were f**kin awesome!! CS totally ROCKED and the singer was flirting with me....hell, I flirted back. His bro the guirtarist is very good looking too! I loved the way the singer danced. The band was on fire. I had such a good time dancing with them...........Mmmm love my "rock n roll". Steve Winwood is just amazing!! He did some songs from Spencer Davis Group, Traffic, Blind Faith and his solo stuff. His vocals sounded just as good as the recordings. I had 9th row but the stage was off to the other side. Oh well, guess I can't always be in front :-/ .....I try. hehe! They went into a 25 minute jam on " Spark of the High Heel Boys" (not sure of the title) his guitarist did an incredible solo OMG!!! SW played Keys, guitar and mandolin. His Sax player also played Flute, Keys and Harmonica. He had a Percussionist and Drummer to complete his sound. They had such a full sound for 5 guys. I'm so glad I went, well worth the hour 45min drive. He played for 2 1/2 hours no opening band! Nice.......

I had to split this up.....not that I'm trying to take up space or reach numbers but I just noticed this is #500 for me.....Holy Shit Batman!! It's only taken me over a year and a half....20 months to be exact I think. Wow, I'm slow...

OCPS470: Congrats on the gig!! Good luck with the band. I'm not sure when I'll be down in Fla but I'll let you know. Probably in the fall/ winter. We'll have to meet up!

Michelle: Sorry to hear about your Nephew's apt fire.....that totally sucks!!! Wish I could help him out....does he need peach colored bedroom lamps? lol! I was going to give them away. My Mom is going to sell the house and getting rid of alot of stuff. They bought a Double-wide mobile home in a trailer park.....they always warned me about "The Trailer Trash " and now THEY are moving in!! Lord have mercy.... Let me know what he needs and I wil try to hook him up.

PHRYDOM: What's up? So how long have you been in Atlanta? Happy Father's day!

Suzie2000: God Luck with the interview!! I hope you get it.... Good vibes to you!

TO JOE AND ALL THE OTHER FATHER'S ..........HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!!

Good morning all!

Michelle heh he, thanks for that link. I ordered the JP solo album a while back, it took about 4 weeks to get here. The order confirmation e mail was a little confusing, I thought that it was a shipping notice cos it didn't turn up until about 2 weeks after I placed the order. With little un here not being 4 yet, Fathers Day is really Tots day (again) lol. I got a the official Isle of Man TT racing game for the PS2 this morning but it's not a cool as the painted stone that my little girl made a pre school. :-)

Dave Dude, the suspense is killing me and many others !!:-) How many tracks did you receive for the CD ?

CubeHelluva week bro'.......................best you settle down and try and get some rest today ;-) I've still got my eyes fixed on Guitar9 waiting to pounce and order the DM DVD..................... be a damn shame if a couple of extra CDs flew into my cart at the same time !!!!!!! *ouch*............. 'Coming Dear' ........... lol ;-)

Mari Blind Faith was a super group............. wasn't them that did 'Can't Find My Way Home' ? great song.

VFR, hahaha, yeah I know the sort of day you mean dude! I always know it's going to be one of those kind of days when little things start f*ck*ng up rght from the word go....like I'll get up but have no pairs of socks left in the drawer, and then when I find some and I've got dressed, there's no milk left but I've already brewed my tea....man, it goes on! hehe

Also, that sucks about Revolution Int. screwing up. It's odd, I found them really good when I got my Guitar Wars DVD....maybe they were having an unusually good day at the time!

Joe...Been a huge fan since 1987. Seen you in concert 15-20 times. I've got all the ticket stubs too. Whenever you put out a record, I'm first in line to purchase.

So after all these years of being a huge fan, I've got two gripes about your album-making. First (and this bothers me most)...you always 'slow down' your albums at the tail end. It was cool when you did it early (with 'Rubina', 'Echo', and 'Into the Light'). But lately it's become more boring than uplifting. I mean, the end of 'Engines' was atrociously boring. SBM's final songs were OK, but no standouts, and this trend continues on ITLIS with 'Bamboo'. Here's a suggestion for your next album...why don't you BLOW THE DOORS off the last tune. Make the listener feel jazzed, juiced, winded, and blown-up!!! Don't make them fall asleep.

So here's my 2nd gripe. Your last album, ITLIS, contains 6 fantastic instrumentals. The title track is melodic excellence. I love the firey resonance of 'Up in Flames.' 'If I Could Fly' soars in a bluesy hypnosis. 'Just Look Up' is simply exquisite. And 'Searching' is very very cool. OK...so here's the gripe. Why did you screw up the album (and it's flow) with those two goofy vocal tracks. I mean...it's like you didn't even try to make serious songs. (Tracks like 'I Believe' or 'Big Bad Moon' were excellent, and fit with the overall theme of FIABD.) Not only are the two vocals tracks on ITLIS goofy, they ruin the flow and momentum that the remaining instrumental songs build. I keep having to skip over those two useless songs; I can never listen to the album without interruption. So on your next album, if you want to do a vocal composition, at least take it seriously, and don't screw up the flow of the remaining pieces.

Anyway...this is meant to be constructive...and rest assured I'll be 1st in line to buy the next album, and you'll find me somewhere in the orchestra seating at the next concert. Peace!

MariMari looks like I'm starting that job tomorrow... well, at least I have a meeting there lol... I've been here since 5th November last year. Sounds like you're having fun snapping!!! :-)

Paul Sorry bro... I have 46 tracks in my T2JCD2 folder if that gives you an idea... read on...

The reason for this last delay from last night to this morning is that when we received the tracks we (well, I say we but it might just be me lol) saved them to a directory with the names they had when received. Not all were extremely descriptive of the artist & track title! This both helped and hindered: it helped because there was no "I know this guy and he's a mate so he has to be on" feeling - because I personally didn't know submitted what! It also hindered when we had a final track listing but again didn't necessarily know who did what and so couldn't report it!

Anyways, we're pretty sure these are the right names for artists and tracks. Please email the T2J team at the usual place(s) with any corrections. If you're on the list you need to get a CD to OCPS containing a 44.1kHz 16 bit stereo audio file of your track as soon as possible so we can get on and decide the track order and get the thing mastered.

Once again many thanks to everyone who submitted this time. Those of you who didn't make it, we still have some ideas in the pipeline that'll get you included in the project, but more of that another time.

On behalf of the team THANK YOU for your continued support in this project. It really wouldn't exist without you guys! My next post will be the track listing in no order.

Cheers, and Happy Fathers Day to all! Later... Dave
