SteveeT - hahaaa... that's the spirit...

MikeSB - the biggun [Alex] is a righty..
he plays drums in a band and also plays guitar..
his classical playing is actually getting to be pretty sweet..
he's had an electric for a few years... he dabbles...
right now he's going through a phase... now that he is playing more he's realised that the musicianship required to be a rap artist is not high... his respect for them is beginning to evaporate [which can only be a good thing]
he s beginning to ediscover the joys of metal....
and gaining the respect of "organic musicianship"

Lewis is the little 'un... he's a leftie and only the other day asked me to start teaching him to play....
when it comes to guitar though, I don't know which way around he'll prefer to play...
fortunately for him, there are both lefties and righties in the house......

imagine... a nice summer evening... the sun is going down... it's nice and warm...
and I'm in the garden having an acoustic jam wiv me boyzies..

sweet.... I have a mission...

fab - I looked at the pics.... jeez absolutely disgusting...

what a dreadful combination... when I saw the pics my eyes almost popped right out
I'll not be showing them pics to me boys due to the highly offensive content...

a Fender strap on a Gibson guitar.... what is the world coming to...

delfino - yup.. I'll get all proud and teary when when smashes up the school drum kit with one of the guitars.... lol..

tha's ma boy....

Clarky: That's cool about your son....cue twighlight zone music....NOW! About the younger lefty son....even though I'm a teacher and many guitar teachers say to make everyone play righty...I think it's better to let lefties play left handed. I just think that the if you're leftie the left hand is your writing hand so it's better suited for small movements like picking just as a righties right hand is. What do you think?

Good Afternoon Satchland.... How is Everyone?.......

Steven Wilde..... I hope all is well. I'm glad you didn't need the operation. One less hurdle to master. Keep the faith. We're thinkin' about you.

michelle..... I'm honored to be included in your list. Snow..... now that's a bad 4 letter word( not starting with S... more like F) lol.....

OCPS470..... I agree with you. If you're a lefty and the guitar feels good to you as a lefty. Let it be. The learning process is less frustrating and it's natural. I'm a righty and couldn't imagine learning to play lefty only 'cause I'm a righty. Nothin' wrong with being a lefty if it feels right.

Clarky..... Do you have a web ? I'd like to check out your band and some of your songs.

mari..... FYI.... In case you missed the post. The name of my Uncles restuarant in New Hope was The Crystal Palace. It's going back 40 yrs. so who knows. If it's not there. What's there now?

Nola..... What happened to you? You posted and dissappeared. How's the tax situation doing? What are you doing with English Government?

joeman 9...... I read the article. Uh.... wasn't that the kids point. They work on a project for 7 months and no one lets them know or suggest a different project. I have a project for them. Research how stupid adults can be. We are supposed to be roll models right?....That's my understanding anyway.

FVR, I bow to you, good call on the Shakepeare definition, very interesting indeed. So, you've read a fair bit of Shakespeare's stuff then?!

Kunali, so you're not much into Vai then! hehe, I can understand your point of view. I used to be a Vai loyalist but I'm certainly not any more. I still think he's cool and I like seeing him play, but I'm more into Joe, and even more into EJ!

I also love Andy Timmons....I'm still very tempted to plan a trip to the US to see EJ and Timmons, if their tours happen to make that kind of trip a possibility! What was the Alien Love Child show like? I bet it was awesome!

So Scott, did you get wild and crazy for yer birthday or not? Got any good stories to share? You might want to hook up with Al if ya didn't, he could show you some craziness!

Phrydom, Dave, blessings to you and your dad, I believe he's watching over you, and is probably quite proud, too.

Snappy, are you SURE the toe Shady gave you back was yours? Hmmmm, I'd be suspicious of that if I were you... I hear he has a collection, so.......

Hi Steven, get well soon! And hi to Estrela, tool, dck, spanky, jj, Ruthie, bahduh, Bob, and geez, everyone else...please don't be offended if I didn't list your name, I still have a fever and probably pnuemonia by now...I think Joe's December germs finally caught up with me.. :) Guess I'd better go to the Dr...

Hey Joe, happy 15th of June...one more month till your birthday! Have a great day!

Time for a study break...I've been working none-stop for a while now annotating and researching contexts for these extracts for my exam on tuesday. It's pretty rewarding work to know your going into the exam fully prepared.

I'm still not comfortable about my two media exams but I'm sure I'll get my queries answered tomorrow when I consult my teacher then I can go into the exam with confidence.

Anywayz, I think I'ma play some Ghost Recon: Island Thunder...

Got the new Dream Theater CD through the post today- have only skim-listened to it so far but it sounds cool!

I also got a Live album by "The Levellers" - anybody remember them? And how much Green Day sound like them in certain songs? Hmmm..
