Michelle I'm just a little ray of fucking sunshine ain't I? roflmao................I know a lot of people would think that that T shirt was wholly appropriate for me (on the right day!) I don't know about attitude at work, but my patience is wearing a bit thin at the moment..... to many hours for no extra cash (and pregnant wife) = too much to do at the weekend, without any energy.....*sigh* sure glad I'm not a mother though !! :-)

Cube DM hanging at your pad ? How f**king cool is that ? I got the Organic CD and DVD, great stuff. Nice to see bbf in there as well. His playing is great as ever but the bit on the DVD that does it for me is 'Eat My Chopstick'............... the 'in mouth' drum solo is awesome.....................a total Freak!!!

962 Revolution International suck man :-/ 6 weeks after I place my Bumblefoot order, it takes me to chase them for them to tell me that 'oh it's been deleted'............... fucking dicks, I knew that already, so why did they have it on their website for sale..................... really pissed on my chips. Ho hum. How are you anyway man ? I've got my bro on the case re your DVD but he's away this w/end, I've not forgotten :-)

Right gotta drag my sorry ass of this chair and do some stuff, I hate being 'at a loose end'.................don't want to do the stuff that I've got to do and can't be bothered (or settle to) to do the stuff that I want to do. Some days you just want to wake up the following morning and start over -lol

Later peeps.

Michelle and SteveeT- Thanks, positive vibes do help... I am having to rely heavily on my instincts as to whether to go for the job (assuming I get it LOL) as it will be a challenge like nothing before!

Anyway I've just booked our Dream Theater tickets for Oct 25th YAY!!! :-)

Hey JoeY! My name's Jishnu, i'm from MUMBAI, and just like everybody else at the concert was blown away, blessed, and this I think can ony speak for myself when I say this but I had tears in my eyes the whole time. The minute that I saw the light bouncing of your head as you walked on stage (15 mins late!) I felt like one of those cartoons where the "lights of heaven" shine on you and you hear harps (or rather the JS2000). Ever since I heard "Always With Me, Always With You" back when I was 8 (I'm now 16) I've always had the dream to see you up close and hear you play live. And this is in all seriousness the first dream that's ever come true for me, and I have only one other, and that is to actually meet you and jam with you, but lets not kid ourselves, that's never gonna happen. But I am making a pilgramige for the second time to San Francisco next summer just because I know that you are somewhere within a few miles from me, and i'm also going to New York, cause it's your home town and everything, and cause im gonna see if i can get a JS guitar. By the way, why are they all so darn expensive! Almost everyone who knows me reasonably well knows that i'm an agnostic, and dont believe that there is a God, but even though I know that this sounds kinda corny and you almost definately hear from every single fan, and you completely deserve it, I think to myself that I was an agnostic until I heard Joe Satriani. Your fingers are possessed kinda like Linda Blair in the "Excorcist" but no amount of Holy Water or excorcists could ever take that away from you, because there is nobody who can even touch God. Another thing i''d like to mention is that just like Steve Vai, you are obsessed with the whammy bar, in a good way. And I have affectioanetaly named given a nick name to that thing you do when you pick a very high harmonic and then increase the tone and pull up on the whammy to give that shrill whistle, and everytime you do it you make that screaming face and you close your eyes, and I have never heard anybody else do that in my life! and so I call it the Satch Cry I'm quite sure you're not gonna read this whole letter, and so if you were to honour me beyond belief by repyling to me, then could you please let me know where I could send you fan mail to you personally in San Francisco since ii'm going there next year, because typing my respects for you doesn't show the same respect I have for you as compared to actuall fan mail, unless you'd rather not let a complete stranger know of any personal address. YOU ARE MY GOD, MY HERO, MY MENTOR, MY INSPIRATION, THE ONE, OR AS WE SAY IN INDIA, MY GURU[/b} I've wasted enough of your precious time in my ramblings. so-

God Bless (what I say "Satch Bless") -Jishnu Guha

Well, I'm off to bed. I got my suit today, all custom fitted and so on and it feels excellent and I look...well...it doesn't make me look as fat as I am (although I have dropped 2 waist sizes) but it doesnt make me look stick thin. Most comfortable and well fitting outfit I own. And it looks good with my flourescent green shirt :-)

I also started a new track today. I'm aiming to not make it an instrumental but I can't sing or write lyrics so I will most likely post it on soundclick and leave the link on my myspace profile for people who wanna' listen to it and give it a shot.

Last night I went out to my regular watering hole only to find my friends were waiting outside because they had been kicked out...typical. So we moved onto another pub which was cheap as shit, £1.60 a pint....no kronenbourg on tap but they had it bottled. As this pub was next door to the place my friends got kicked out of they were once again asked to leave (later found out that two of them were only 17...now that was suprising to me) so we went to another pub which was absolutely awesome. We waited outside for others to arrive and as we were waiting we saw girls from the Birmingham Uni dressed in school girl uniforms all looking incredibly gorgeous so we decided right there and then it was the place to stay for the night...when we got inside it took us nearly 45 minutes to get served it was so crowded...last day of Uni or something. Was very good, topped the night off with a curry.

Benny, I really crack up listening to your little pronunciations - especially "mate". lmao! Have you left your mustache in half like that? Bet your a real looker now...mate. LOL!

VFR, here's the shirt, althought I think one that simply says "clusterfuck" is all you really need. LOL!

I ordered Petrucci's new cd 2 weeks ago hoping I would have it as a Father's Day gift for my husband, but I haven't even gotten an email saying it was sent yet. I did get a confirmation email that my order went through, but I don't think my husband would want to unwrap that tomorrow *sigh* Good thing I got him a few other things for back-up. lol!

The final track listing (not order) has been finalised for the second Talk2Joe CD. There are eighteen tracks, running to a total of roughly 78:51. We need to do some final checks on the artist & track names, and will report back here as soon as we can. Work continues on the artwork and a new look talk2joe.com website will follow accordingly.

Thank you to everyone who submitted a track - they were all very very good, and this CD was really tough to vote on for all concerned.

Watch this space and talk2joe.com for more news and updates as we have them.

OK I'm off to continue watching The Shining now, hope you're all enjoying your weekend. Dave

Hey All........just got back from Steve Winwood concert in Atlantic City, NJ. Most Excellent!!! I saw Collective Soul last night in Philly, I was front and center. Well there was 1 person in front of me......CS was playing tonight in AC at Trump Marina which is next to the Borgata where I saw SW. I was tempted to go and see the end of the show but I had a long ride home and I'm tired from last night. Besides I had on high heels and my feet were killing me! Looked good but the agony of de feet!! lol! Both shows were f**kin awesome!! CS totally ROCKED and the singer was flirting with me....hell, I flirted back. His bro the guirtarist is very good looking too! I loved the way the singer danced. The band was on fire. I had such a good time dancing with them...........Mmmm love my "rock n roll". Steve Winwood is just amazing!! He did some songs from Spencer Davis Group, Traffic, Blind Faith and his solo stuff. His vocals sounded just as good as the recordings. I had 9th row but the stage was off to the other side. Oh well, guess I can't always be in front :-/ .....I try. hehe! They went into a 25 minute jam on " Spark of the High Heel Boys" (not sure of the title) his guitarist did an incredible solo OMG!!! SW played Keys, guitar and mandolin. His Sax player also played Flute, Keys and Harmonica. He had a Percussionist and Drummer to complete his sound. They had such a full sound for 5 guys. I'm so glad I went, well worth the hour 45min drive. He played for 2 1/2 hours no opening band! Nice.......
