good evening Satchers. whats going on in here. Just sitting around listening to some tunes on my computer. Finished off listening to G3 Live in Minneapolis with JS, Vai and Johnson, truly a great album by far, beats the snot out of the Denver show, Yngwie is a wanker, after watching that show he is a wanker to me. I appreciate his studio work but his stage attitutde is obnoxious, just cause he can play the same runs faster than anyone else, he isnt very creative with his music, it all sounds similar. Anyway got Is There Love in Space on right now and studying for exam i have tommorow

Delfino, good luck with the job hunting. I hate doing it, it's so demoralising, I hope you get lucky and someone actually looks at your application!
Also, I want to hear "Delta Halo" but at 5.2mb it's a bit big for me to listen to. My connection has been shit lately, but if I get a good one over the weekend or something I'll download the track!
VFR, I just paid for 3 tickets to the Lukather gig next thursday! YES! I can't wait, it's gonna rock! Thanks for the heads-up on this gig....wish you could make it. Maybe next time?! Hope you're cool amigo!

vbil - "that person" may not be the one I'm thinking of...
my "that person" is a he....
Cuth - the latest with DC is:
we've had some great reviews of the new album.. one reviewer gave us 5 stars and stated that this is the best prog release so far this year... said some nice things about me too.... gives me a nice warm feeling...
tour dates.... the tour is being planned to coincide with the next album launch: around Jan 2006
we are scheduled to play late winter / and spring 2006:
Russia, Ukraine, Finland, Germany, Holland, UK and Japan - all of which are an 80% or better
we may be playing at the Royal Festival Hall in London in November - some sort of prog-festival thing.. but that's less certain right now...
work is being done regarding gigs in the US, France and Italy
this is just being planned and looked into so there's no outcome just yet.....
one thing is for sure.... this particular DC line-up is the best yet... by far.... in fact... this line-up is the most talented line-up I've worked with ever.... simply a joy to be a part of...
Fab - been through the documentation stuff you sent me... I'm happy.. the other person had been notified.. all smiles so far... thanx bro..
mikesb - the nice thing about being with C is that I'm making nice contacts at home and abroad... this can only be a good thing for my own band..
SteeveT - mastering a very nice studio Cleveland, Ohio
Zen - Shredz is going nicely..... not long to go now...
johnywoods - LMFAO.....

Now that the Uni students have gone home that leaves quite a lot of bar-staff jobs open in the area of my local (which ironically isn't local as its roughly 2miles away, and doesn't even serve my favourite drink...)
No problem bout' "Delta Halo", I think one of my other friends is getting a better connection this week actually too...can't remember the provider or the speed though lol.
Ta for the luck,
Delfino

Good Morning Satchland...... How are you guys?
I just want to say thanks to all of you for the support for my friend Todd passing. Life throws you curve balls every once and a while and its best we all carry our own bats so we can knock them out of the park. That's exactly what I'm going to do. Life moves on but like Stevee T said a little piece is missing. I for one am very glad I crossed paths with Todd. I loved his strength and repected what he stood for. He was full of life and worked very hard for his success. It's sad to know good people....I mean really good people like Todd have to leave this Earth when people like Sahdam(thank God not anymore) and Bid Laden are free to walk around and cause so much pain and misery fueled by hate. There's so much more to life then greed and hate and it's a shame these people dont get it. Count your blessings and give your spouse and children a big squeeeeez and live HUGE !!!!! Todd you'll be missed....

I did some digging 'cause I was curious to see just what gas killed my friend Todd. I was told it was Methane...but there not sure.... OSHA is investigating. Read on....
Construction accident kills two
printable page
REEDSBURG - Friday's accident at a construction site on Exhibit Circle has resulted in the death of two workers, who were exposed to unknown gases while working in a man hole.
Duane Nobs, 56 of LaValle, died Sunday at UW-Hospital and his co-worker, Todd Labansky, 44 of Reedsburg, died Monday evening, also at the hospital, Sauk County Coroner Betty Hinze reported. Labansky and Nobs worked for B & L Excavating of LaValle.
The incident occurred around 11 a.m. on June 17. Police and rescue workers responded to a report of two unconscious men in a manhole on Exhibit Circle, where a subdivision is being built. Emergency personnel found Nobs and Labansky about 8-10 feet below ground, Assistant Fire Chief Craig Douglas said.
Reedsburg firefighters used breathing gear and harnesses to retrieve the men, he said. The men remained unconscious when an ambulance crew took them to Reedsburg Area Medical Center.
Both were later transferred to University Hospital in Madison, Douglas said.
"(Nobs) died due to exposure to the toxic atmosphere," Betty Hinze, Sauk County coroner said. Labansky's death was also caused by exposure to toxic gas, Hinze added. "They're looking into the actual type of gas it may be."
Hinze said the gas was from the soil or some other natural process, not natural gas from a utility pipeline. It will take several weeks for air and soil samples to be analyzed before the details of what caused their deaths can be determined, Hinze said.
Remembering
Nobs was the village president in LaValle for at least nine years said trustee Linda Champagne. "He didn't take any decision lightly," she said. "This is only my second year on the board, and I learned a lot from him. He was a good leader and he had the best interest of the community at heart all the time," she said. Champagne also recalled Nobs being a good neighbor for all the time they lived near each other. A smile was always on his face even if he wasn't in the best mood, she said.
Several other members of the LaValle village board have memories of Nobs. "He will be remembered as a fireman, a village president, as a businessman," said village clerk David Doering.
Comments from family members of Todd Labansky were not available as of press time.
The federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is also investigating the accident, said Kim Stille, director of the OSHA office in Madison. The agency always investigates when there is a death in a workplace situation.
A variety of dangerous gases generated by bacterial action in the soil, including hydrogen sulfide and carbon monoxide, can build up in enclosed spaces, she said.
She said she did not know how soon OSHA staff members would complete the investigation.
