Delfino...good luck with college, maybe you'll see Tommy Lee there.

Joe Satriani...FYI...NBC just let me know via email that the Sonoma Concert will be available on tape after the broadcast is completed on Sunday through a company called Multivision, but you probably knew that already...yes?

Guys, thank you all for your congratulations and kind words. Time eludes me at the moment to respond to each of you I regret.

The name? Well Joe was always figuring for a boy somewhere in the name but imagine my suprise when the wife suggested Dylan....................now she's not a Bob fan but I am, so I figure both names with a musical implication, I'll but that for a dollar........I think it sounds cool too :-)

Again thanks for the feedback, Its great to be able to shout it from the rooftops and nice to know that people all round the world are listening. You guys are the best :-) To those who I owe mails.....soon as I can, promise.

Time to crash, later guys.

joe........... when you were growing up playing guitar and still to this day who were your music idles. and what root or style of music did you study, did you try to imulate any certain musician or was it just alittle bit of all of them.. As a musician myself growing up i am curious. i know my idols are you and stevie ray vaughan. I find stevie ray to be very good but yet still raw. I find you to be very fast and very technical which makes it so much harder to play but i would have to say that it paid off cause everybody thinks you are one of worlds best and also fastest guitar players, (well atleast that is what i believe). Thanks.....................

Hi, does anyone know if Mr Satriani has mastered fingerpicking using all fingers? as I know classical guitar is the most difficult style to master.

In just over an hour my future is determined by a piece of paper...

According to newspapers 97% of people got the grades they need...I have no idea how accurate that is, or what they're basing that on...but either way lets hope I'm not in that 3% lol.

Mister Satriani,

If you fall on my words, please don't pay attention to the ortograph and grammar mistakes.

Thanks for your work. You and your brotherhood are a big sun in my life.

That sun gives me strength to face the days, and help me to discover my own light :

If, by chance, you listen the music on my home page ( for a best audition, it must be listen in stereo), it would be an honour to know what do you think about it. I have to precise that it was recorded with "nothing" in my flat.

Sincerely.

Hey I'm back. I've been on holiday for two weeks in Rhodes, Greece, and WOW you guys can talk a lot. 2 weeks later and there was 32 pages to catch up on, so I decided to skip straight to this latest one.

How'd the A-Level results go for everyone? I did quite well in my AS's, I got a U (oh dear..) an E (oh dear..) and 3 B's, which was quite good. Those were the three subjects I'm taking next year as well. How'd it go for everyone else as well then?

I'm just looking over all the marks for my modules and shit like that, all of them adds upto my final grade...

In media I got a C:

Now, remember how in june of this year I had that solid exam that I was absolutely distraught over cos I thought it was so hard that I thought I had barely scraped an E in it...well I got an A' in it...shows what I know lmao...

English I got dead on the marks for a C'...so thank fuck for that...1 mark lower and I would've been really disapointed.

IT i got an A in every unit and 100/100 in one of them...web design I think, or graphics.

i know it seems quite impossible, but i have to realize this dream. meet joe satriani and i realy would like that he could be my teacher. i play some of his songs, like chords of life, mind storm, the extremist(not so well), starry night, always with me always with you, almost all of the songs from the last album, because last album it's quite fantastic. although i play this songs quite well i'm nothing compared to joe, i'm a little sand in the desert. but i have a dream, that his to be like joe satriani, and if possible have some lessons with him. i will be good satriani, but with my own satch style. i don't think that if we play or copy the other players ideas will never get to somewhere, we just have to find our style and fell happy with our own style.

This is Me.. Please joe teach me how to play guitar better and better I'm from Portugal, it's kind of far away from joe's home but everybody got his right to dream, i my dream is to be has good has joe.

Bruno Garra, from Portugal
