hello everyone
ok, i have a question and i coulnt think of a better place to ask it, so here it goes: i finally saved enough money to buy a decent processor, and im mainly between the digitech gnx4 or the boss gt-8. i know that the gnx4 has allot of integrated features but what im looking for here is the sonund, the distortion, the clean, the quality of the efx, and to be able to create and modify these freely.
Thanks!!!

ps, if u know of a better one, PLEASE tell me...

Cspataro try this for the GNX4 and this for the GT8. Harmony Central is a cool place to get feedback from people who have bought the gear you're thinking of buying!

Good luck!

thanks a lot, it really did help, but im still kind of confused, the thing is that there were people in both of the processors that said that it was the best, or that it sucked a lot... i know that it depends of the musical taste, but can that really influence the entire opinion about a processor built for thousends of sounds and features?? i think im going for the digitech anyways, i usually get scared when i read that the distortions r bad (thats what i read about the gt8)

thanks!!

i am selling to rare satriani items, first up is the white album, mint condition, you all know what this is i'm sure, second item is an original demo cassette tape of the squares, has 5 songs listed on the label and the managers phone number, both very rare, i paid alot for them years ago and i'm not letting them go cheap either, so if i can't get what they're worth i'll just keep em, they meant alot to me and still do but i'm having some financial problems and don't have much else to sell, so pls, email me at LJM65@aol.com if you're seriously interested, i can provide digital photo's if necc

DP, sorry... satchfan, you're out of order IMHO. everything you "have" is available elsewhere for nothing. sorry for your "financial troubles". why not get a job?

g'day joe and all fans im back home,, any way joe just had an idea , not sure if it would work though I know u have the jsx head unit and cabnit out now i priced around $3000aussie dollars. Now not every one can afford something like that or have a wat to transport something like that, now hears an idea would u consider making smaller amps ie amps ie 80 -100 watts with same or similar specs , set ups to the jsx head unit? that would be awsome, just an idea

Well, I've finished filming my DVD - it's just edited at the moment. Should be ready very soon!!!!!

Delfino - Yeah, Al's right - as long as you match the impedance you can mix and match brands to your heart's content. Most cabs and heads have a 4, 8, or 16 ohm impedence socket, so as long as you choose the right impedence on both, and match them, it'll be fine. I know someone that plays a Mesa/Boogie Dual Rectifier through two Marshall 4 x 12s, and someone else that plays a Cornford MK50 (I need one of those) through an Orange 4 x 12. Way to a ruin a god amp, if you ask me... Personally, my dream setup is to have the Marshall head I have now set up for lead, as well as an Engl Powerball for the dirty sounds, and some kind of Fender head for the cleans. Expensive, but I reckon I'll have it one day!!!!! lmao

Master Yoda

3 heads?...whoa...definitely gonna' need a lot of cash for that. But as they say, 3 heads are better than one lol.

Hopefully someone here is familiar with some of the schecter guitar models because if I don't find this out I won't be able to sleep.

Sometime ago I was reading a SoundControl magazine (my local music store) when I found a picture of a schecter guitar they were advertising in the catalogue section...it looked normal except the inlays were pole-dancers in different positions on frets 3-5-7-9-12 etc...I was wondering what model it was, so if anyone knows please enlighten me and cure my insomnia..lol.
