ATN...prayers to you, for your operation.

dakook...yes....I got your emails....wow, I really like your friend on your imaginary island of your guitar....did Joe say anything bout the very nice JS 1000?

Thanks sooo much for taking the time to send me the emails. I use a Tascam 24 bit/24 track digital studio to record, with a Triton Workstation keyboard (very strong as a recording unit itself). I'd love to use Pro Tools, but the thought of dedicating a CPU soley for recording is not on my radar yet...the new JS2PRM Chromeboy coming early Sept. is though...lol..

I didn't realize you were so youthful...dude....thought you were a hippie or something....lol....

Peace out!

STEVEE T..LOL..no not a hippe,,those days are long gone,,but still in my heart.

Joe did really like the design,,,however kinda raised his eyebrow when he saw "THE FRIEND". He asked me,",Whats up with the topless girl,,I think she needs to go. I guess thats the family man in him. But was impressed.

Thanks for the heads-up on the recording stuff,,do you have any fingernails left after waiting this long for your new CHROMIE?? lol

Take care,,,DA KOOK

michelle - "The singer started a verbal fight with this "fat" guy in the audience (as he called him), then slammed a bottle of water right at the guys head (anyone thinking Axle Rose?)"

I think that was actually Sebastian Bach / Skid Row, at a gig opening for Aerosmith. Still, though, that's pathetic...there is no reason to treat fans like that.

It's cool to hear that you had a blast at the gig...but you didn't say anything about Symphony X. Were they there? What did you think?

PhryDom - Thanks... You'll have email in just a moment, about something else.

...Austin...

Davey - Austin, the Dillinger Escape Plan singer just kept up the verbal abuse on this guy, and get this - not only did he talk about the guys mother, but then he said "I hope you die of AIDS!" The entire audience let out a loud groan of disapproval, but his fans in the front were all for it. What an ass.

Austin, Symphony X was on stage 2. I couldn't wait to hear them, but the sound was really bad. It hurt our ears, so we went for some food. We sat through 2 of their songs and listened to the rest from the food area. When they first came on, a ginormous vibrating hum was coming from the singers mic. They fixed that, but the sound was still muddy. I really wanted to hear them too :( Yeah, I think it was Bach. I was picturing Axle throwing something, prolly his mic, and jumping on the guy. lol! Either way, the guy was a jerk. The drummer was good in that band, but the other guys were just so...spastic. lol! So how was DMB?

ATN, best of luck to you with your surgery. Good vibes comin' at ya!

Stevee, thanks for the HB for my mum. She had a good day, and the weather turned nice in the afternoon. I have to call her and see what I missed. According to my sister, all went well :)

delfino if you get the same "family" (can't remember the right tech word, i'm a little rusty these days lol) of mobo you can reuse pretty much all your other components, CPU, mammary (love using that lol), etc... but hey, if your dad's got his hand in his pocket, sod it! go for a new machine! maybe try scan.co.uk or uk.insight.com
tfg congrats!!!

oh, before i forget, i have MP3s of bruce and sharon from the recent debacle... not listened to them but i can stick them online if y'all wanna hear them...? laytah!

Just got back from a weekend in Minneapolis / St.Paul......spent saturday at the Mall Of America.....what a big-ass mall...whew ! Camp Snoopy was cool...kids loved it almost as much as me. Of the gazillion stores there was maybe 3 or 4 that were worthy of a return visit. Lots of walking...bring comfortable shoes. Peace, SD

Delfino, don't you have even an AGP on that motherboard? It must be ancient, if not!

If you do get a new motherboard you'll probably want to go for PCI-E rather than AGP. AGP is still great, but PCI-E is going to greatly surpass it within the next few months.

Dual core motherboards are floating round a few places now.....that may be worth researching....depends how much your dad wants to spend! hehe
