turkeyman, it was FILMED May 8th, it will be released October 25, 2005 :)
Davey, I was going to post to you to see if you were okay. I was checking the Atlanta weather on www.weather.com, and it said the winds were still fierce. Watch out the the coming storms. They can be just as nasty. If it's thundering and lightning, stay inside! lol! I just can't help being a mom. LOL! Take care honey!!
Civ, T.O.P. and Santana should be cool. I heard something about Santana having his crew "read", and anyone with bad energy was let go of their position. Damn, I wish I could do that at work. LOL!
I'm taking my headache to bed now. Night peeps!

juju, haha, when I read your post about "steering clear of Katrina" I thought you were talking about a dodgy messageboard-member who I'd completely failed to notice! Then when I saw PhryDom saying about "keeping out of Katrina's path" I made the link!
Hope everyone's doing okay out there anyway. Last week a fairly sizeable typhoon was heading towards Tokyo.....anybody got any news on that?

There probably is a AGP alternative, but I've only got PCI slots so I'm kinda stuck. Theres been a change of plan anyway now. No new PC, I'm getting the best PCI card available, 2GB of RAM and a TV-card for uni. So it's not going to cost as much leaving money over towards my amps for a christmas present.
If I feel like it I might go out later as the weather is gorgeous right now and get a new cable to go from my line-in to my effects processor...my last one was quite old when I got it and its on its way out now...then I can do my instrumental/metal cover of yellow submarine...just for the sake of it lol.

civ - It sounds beautiful. I love trees. I was there in October and the colors were gorgeous. It's something anout the latitude that is comfortable to me. Hoping to do an exploratory trip in 07. Obligations keep us in Cali for a few more years.
I was under the impression that employment opportunities were limited. With no local connections would the reception be chilly?

Castle - we had a high unemployment rate due to the mini high tech collapse. But with Accounting from all the calls my wife gets from recruiters there are positions open. She just took a new SEC reporting position, It was them calling her, not so much her looking. Although she did have the feelers out. I don't remember exactly your field of expertise but with all the changes going on inthe industry it shouldn't be hard at all. What's the Hubby dofor $$?
Yes, it is beautiful up here. And the people are nice. Like the ones in Atlanta even our Meth heads are nice.

A Mystery
A man's car broke down as he was driving past a beautiful old monastery.
He walked up the drive and knocked on the front door. A monk answered, listened to the man's story and graciously invited him to spend the night. The monks fed the man and led him to a tiny chamber in which to sleep.
The man thanked the monks and slept serenely until he was awakened by a strange and beautiful sound. The next morning, as the monks were repairing his car, he asked about the sound that had woke him.
"We're sorry," the monks said. "We can't tell you about the sound. You're not a monk."
The man was disappointed, but eager to be gone, so he thanked the monks for their kindness and went on his way. During quiet moments afterward, the man pondered the source of the alluring sound.
Several years later the man happened to be driving in the same area. He stopped at the monastery on a whim and asked admittance. He explained to the monks that he had so enjoyed his previous stay, he wondered if he might be permitted to spend another night under their peaceful roof. The monks agreed, and so the man stayed with them again.
Late that night, he heard the strange beautiful sound. The following morning he begged the monks to explain the sound. The monks gave him the same answer as before. "We're sorry. We can't tell you about the sound. You're not a monk."
By now the man's curiosity had turned to obsession. He decided to give up everything and become a monk, for that was the only way he could learn about the sound. He informed the monks of his decision and began the long and arduous task of becoming a monk.
Seventeen years later, the man was finally established as a true member of the order. When the celebration ended, he humbly went to the leader of the order and asked to be told the source of the sound.
Silently, the old monk led the new monk to a huge wooden door. He opened the door with a golden key. That door swung open to reveal a second door of silver, then a third of gold, and so on, until they had passed through twelve doors, each more magnificent than the last. The new monk's face was awash with tears of joy as he finally beheld the wondrous source of the beautiful, mysterious sound he had heard so many years before..........

Hey ya'll....Joe...you nearby?
Might we read some words from the Master...or maybe...hear some sounds.
Joe, I noticed that you play the wah with your left foot...being a righty....I thought you might use your right foot. Did endless hours of practicing with the guitar propt up on your right leg precipitate the use of your left foot for the wah, or just your natural preference?
Peace.

Everyone knows that when a guitar lead touches metal it shortsout and buzzes...well, me and my dad are going to install a killswitch into my now bright orange guitar...however something that has recently come to my attention is when the button for the killswitch is pressed in breaking the connection in the guitar and cutting off the sound the guitar lead will probably make the buzzing noise...I read somewhere theres a way around this, something about soldering a wire to a certain part of the input jack where the lead goes...but I have lost that information, does anyone know where I can find this find information on this or do they already know how to get round this problem? lol.
Help appreciated immensly.

This is cheese 101's son again,
I was wondering if anyone out there has a digitech whammy, and could tell me how to get a sound out of it that simulates 2 guitars in harmony. There is a harmonizer fx section on the pedal. I know how to work the harmonzier, but just cant understand why it doesn't do the doubling.
Do i just need to someday buy a boss super shifter.
Help would be very much appreciated.
Thanx

SteveeT...thats a good Joe question.....I always assumed that he used his left foot so that the guitar would stay flat against his hip, versus the right where the guitar would be resting on the leg sticking out. Even though I suck on the Wah using my left foot, I find it more comfortable with that guitar flat against my body. Guess I'll have to work on that.

This is an actual job application that a 75-year-old senior citizen submitted to Wal-Mart in Arkansas.
NAME: George Martin
SEX: Not lately, but I am looking for the right woman (or at least, one who'll cooperate).
DESIRED POSITION: Company President or Vice President. But seriously, whatever's available. If I was in a position to be picky, I wouldn't be applying here in the first place.
DESIRED SALARY: $185,000 a year plus stock options and a Michael Ovitz style severance package. If that's not possible, make an offer and we can haggle.
EDUCATION: Yes.
LAST POSITION HELD: Target for middle management hostility.
PREVIOUS SALARY: A lot less than I'm worth.
MOST NOTABLE ACHIEVEMENT: My incredible collection of stolen pens and post-it notes.
REASON FOR LEAVING: It sucked.
HOURS AVAILABLE TO WORK: Any.
PREFERRED HOURS: 1:30-3:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
DO YOU HAVE ANY SPECIAL SKILLS?: Yes, but they're better suited to a more intimate environment.
MAY WE CONTACT YOUR CURRENT EMPLOYER?: If I had one, would I be here?
DO YOU HAVE ANY PHYSICAL CONDITIONS THAT WOULD PROHIBIT YOU FROM
LIFTING UP TO 50 lbs.?: Of what?
DO YOU HAVE A CAR?: I think the more appropriate question here would be "Do you have a car that runs?"
HAVE YOU RECEIVED ANY SPECIAL AWARDS OR RECOGNITION?: I may already be a winner of the
Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes, so they tell me.
DO YOU SMOKE?: On the job - no, on my breaks - yes.
WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE DOING IN FIVE YEARS?: Living in the Bahamas with a fabulously wealthy dumb, sexy, blonde, supermodel who thinks I'm the greatest thing since sliced bread. Actually, I'd like to be doing that now.
DO YOU CERTIFY THAT THE ABOVE IS TRUE AND COMPLETE TO THE BEST OF YOUR
KNOWLEDGE?: Oh yes, absolutely.
SIGN HERE: Sagittarius
Wal-Mart ended up hiring the old man because he was so funny.
