Jaszzmme, like cheese said, LOL is laughing out loud, so when you see it, we be laughing :) Death metal and black at 7 - ha! Geez man! Sounds like your in for a ride. Here's the deal - keep an eye on her friends and see if your house can be their hangout. That way you know what's going on ;-) If her friends are older, might wanna hold the reigns on that one. As for the music, if you act like you hate it, she might like it more. If you act like you love it, she might think the lyrics and stuff are positive. It's a fine line. Ask her what she likes about the whole deal. Does she even understand the lyrics, or is she just digging the beats? If she's just digging the beats, clog on lil' sister. I don't know how much a 7 yr old understands about all that dark stuff. Depends on the kid. Maybe she see's your older son listening to rap, and wants to be anti whatever he is? LOL! Anyways, ppl would say to me "she only wears and listens to what you buy her" and ultimately YOU are in charge. My kids fashion style and music never bothered me, it bothered other ppl. LOL! Hopefully it's just a phase and her mood don't get as dark as her music and clothes. lol! If it does, pull the plug. If she's a happy kid, then good for her!

Cheese, oh chester chee toes, them is some damn fine pants they were workin' that night. Great googlie-mooglie!!

mari, I do believe you have connections everywhere in the continental US and abroad! lol!! Nice talking to you again.

Gotta run~~~

Thanks for the tip, if it works out I will try to check him out.

I listened to Sum 41 and Silvertides songs on iTunes - not real excited about them. Maybe they will put on one hell of a show? One can hope.

Belgian nun reprimanded for wild dancing

Paper shows nun's acrobatic moves with a missionary at World Youth Day

BRUSSELS - A Belgian nun’s acrobatic and indecorous dancing with a missionary during the Catholic World Youth Day in Germany over the weekend earned her a reprimand from her mother superior, a Belgian paper said Tuesday.

Daily Het Laatste Nieuws showed pictures of a dancing Johanne Vertommen being held up in the air by the missionary, and then clinging to him with her legs wrapped around his body.

“I wouldn’t do this at home but at such occasions I get carried away by the enthusiasm of the group,” the 29-year-old told the paper later.

“My mother superior raised the issue today: she thinks I should watch out a bit and bear in mind that I represent our community,” Vertommen said.

Pope Benedict attended the celebration at the Marienfeld, outside Cologne, in the presence of some 700,000 people.

TOALL: So I finally broke down and ordered a Fulltone Ultimate Octave today. I now it's going to be a limitted use effect, but I'm in a jazz/rock/prog/funk improv band, and I figured it would help to mix the tones up a bit as I'm soloing. I'll let you guys know what I think of the thing in a few days. I bet it's going to be out of control!! haha! In a good way though!

Joe:

I'm 46 years old now and out of all the music library I own, its now down to just listening to S.M.F. and Cool#9 off your 95 CD with my concert stereo in the basement. I play drums, keys and a 6 string bass. I grew up listening to Zeplin, Black Sabbath, UFO, (Michael Schenker) Frank Marino, Billy Cobham ,Catus, Stevie Ray Vauhn, Al Dimeola Jimmy Thackery, Tommy Bolin, e.t.c. Do You have plans for more plans for writing these types of arrangments?

Best Regards

Al Ciriello

P.S. S.M.F. Rocks!

hey joe, any ideas when a new G3 tour will happen over here in england? and is their any chance that it would come up here to the Sheffield Hallam FM Arena (you guys came here when you did the tour with Steve Vai and Eric Johnson back in '96)

one last question :- perhaps the tour could include maybe Black Label Society or The Steve Morse Band? would be an interesting line-up lol!!
