PHRYDOM- Thanks, I think it's always worth keeping on studying and learning, stop the ol' brain from wasting away!

BAHDUH- Glad to hear all's well with you.

CUTHBERT- "Rant lock" - LOL

ESTRELA- saw your post, hope you're doing ok out there! :)

ZENFISH- Just to let you know- eventually after many months I have got round to buying Van Halen - Women and Children First- I am loving it! Thanks for the recommendation! :)

MASTER YODA- I have to beg to differ about the 2p machine places/ chav villes being a COMPLETE waste of time... A few days ago a friend of ours drove us down to Hastings to see our friends who moved there, and I won a plastic car! It was a bargain at £3.50!!! LOL

MARI- Hi, hope you're having a good time.

Has ANYONE heard from Steven Wilde lately by the way?

Anyone ever spent a day where they have nothing planned and end up watching Challenge TV all day? (not sure if you're blessed with this channel in the states)

I watched 2 hours of 'Catchphrase' an hour of '321' an hour of 'Crystal Maze' (wasn't that good back in the day!) and ofcourse...OFCOURSE...'Family Fortunes'....

It was the best, me and my mate couldn't stop taking the piss throughout and showing the contestants how they suck lol.

If only they put 'Gladiators' on that was the pinnicle of saturday night TV back in the day, perfect for a monday when theres absolutely nothing to do lmao.

Hello my friends in Satchland !! I hope all well in the realm of Satch.........

FYI: There will be NO Aftershow pass giveaway for VAi's 2005 European Tour. I don't know if he done with it all together or if this is a temporary thing. I'm disappointed for all my friends in Europe that didn't get the EVO package and were still hoping for a chance to win passes. I was hoping too....

Also the setlist for the G3-05 DVD is..... Petrucci: "Glasgow Kiss", "Damage Control" ..... Steve Vai: "The Audience Is Listening", "Building The Church," "K'm-Pee-Du-Wee" Joe Satriani: "Up In Flames," "Searching," "War" The G3 Jam: "Foxey Lady," "La Grange," "Smoke On The Water"

I hope this info is not a repeat....sorry if it is. No word yet on the DVD bonus features. So there's some bad news and good news.

I'm about 3 days behind but just needed to say this before I catch up.........

Bahduh (and Suzie): Hi, I hope all's well. I had hoped to talk to Steven this weekend but there was so much to do and so little time! I got email from him on Wed and he said he'd try to call, I'm going to try him in a little while. Things do seem to be improving for him slightly, he said that he had done some new songs........that's really good news!! I'll let him know you send your best as always. I'll keep you posted. :o)

Suzie2000: Hey Suz! What's up? I tried to call you on Saturday but the call would NOT go through........I tried at least 15 times and many different combo's but to no avail. Do I need to dial a city code for London? (171 or 181) My phonebook says for International calls to dial 011+44 (country code) + (city code) + number. Ok, I tried. My g/f who call the UK for biz says I shouldn't have to use the city code and maybe drop the 0 in the front of your number. I tried every diff combo except dropping the 0 in front of the number. Maybe that's the problem? Kinda frustrating. :-/ Any thoughts? Hey PHRYDOM.......was I doing it right? I'm sure you would know Dave, I image you call home often. ;)

Shel: I hope you're feeling better. Sounded like a pinched nerve or something. Did you and your son survive football practice? ;)

Cuth: There is good and bad in all mankind. Unfortunately a tragedy on this scale tends to bring out the worst in people (some that have that tendency and some just outa pure desperation). While others will do their best to help out their fellow man. It's sad that it was allowed to get so out of control...Shame on the government to not taking command immediately!!........ I'm also German like your wife (Swedish too). I'm proud of my heritage but not of Hitler and what his followers did. With every Race/Nation there is the potential for a person with evil intent to come to power and inflict their sick beliefs on undeserving people for no reason what so ever. It's unfortunate that it happens but it does....hopefully we learn from the past and it will never happen again. No one can be sure. I just get over-saturated will all the negativity in the world, sometimes it's overwhelming. I try not to watch the news too much....it get's me too depressed. I finally said I can't watch it anymore....My job gives me enough reality. Treating cancer patients can be tough sometimes but I do my best to stay positive about life...You've only got ONE LIFE TO LIVE, go out there and LIVE IT!!

I owe a few emails and I'll catch up to you all in a few days or sooner if I can......

Peace!

Mari

Anibur:Try your cookies folder for IE....It may still have those links!.......Good luck........OR you could try a system restore but only if you haven't had any other computer problems or made changes to the way your computer runs since you deleted your history....that is a last resort and anything that you deleted around that date you'll have to redelete....My advise would be to only restore if you cannot live without those links..Sometimes the system restore can be risky........Chances are that your cookies folder will have those addresses anyway......Be forwarned about System Restore!!!!!

JBlaze: I was just thinking of you.....i was writing to you before your post and messed it up somehow...lost it all! I'm in the chat all by self......it's worse than dancing by myself. I'd rather dance alone. It's great exercise and people just think your a little wacked. (if you are dancing strange that is) hehe!

I hope you are well and school is going smoothly!

All my best to you always!!

Suzie I agree totally! When I was back in Blighty I started a degree course with the Open University... keep that brain working! :-) I hope they expand their countries some time so I can finish it! :-)
Cheese101 I'm glad these little effers breaking and entering my home keep you & yours amused! lol Well, it turns out that I was (naturally) all adrenalised up with the killing & maiming and attempted killing & maiming... after a little while my composure returned and I was happily sitting here (right here), surfing, whatever... then that MIA little MF GD CSer appears... waving its MFing aerials around the place... coming at me from behind a stack of CDs.... I got the screwdriver again... bashed it into oblivion... broke off a big chunk of its GD ugly brown and gold MF body... POS.... the adrenaline came back, but my task was completed... I relaxed again. regained my composure, went and got another beer from the fridge, luckily I had spares after its GD mate had committed alcohol abuse earlier... came back, sat down.... the broken-off chunk was on the desk... the rest of the GD MF was MFing GONE!!!!! AAAARRRGGGHHH!!!!!!! "WTF GD POS MFing MFer!!!!!!" I said (or something like that, I'm such an angel, y'know!)... I got all worked up, AGAIN.... then it appeared and GD I sent it into next week.... there was eyeballs and arseholes all over my desk... and you know what? They're still there! As a lesson to any more GD MFers who try and mess with me.... look what happens of you F with me you MFers... kep t F away... GDit.... I'm on alert... and I'm gonna get em.... GD MFers.... grrrr.....
mari sweetheart... if you're trying to call from a cell, you might want to press zero and hold it down until it turns into a + then do the 44 171 bit.... the + sign = "get me out of this country"... if it's a calling card I call the access number, then it's 011 (= get me out of this country) then 44 then 171 etc.... the person you are calling's area code will start with a zero, never dial that zero.... you should be good to go... if not, SHOUT! Not being able to talk to friends sucks! Oh, and i "dance by myself" often.... if nobody's looking... sometimes involved pics of Britney... heh heh
great news I read today that they're doing a remake of Saturday Night Fever!!!!! The Bee Gees have put up 20 million for it.... man I love the Bee Gees...... and (all you Brits) our Robbie is apparently gonna play Tony.... man I love the Bee Gees.....
laters all!!!!!! Me xxx

Cuth, Keniko, Michelle and any others i may have inadvertently missed out

Many thanks for your good wishes, the operation seems to have gone well, but i have a few weeks of heavy physio to go yet and the shoulder is very sore. However, I can now do things I have been unable to do for months which is good. I am very much 'one handed' and it is surprising just how dependent you become on your 'good' side. At the risk of giving 'too much information' , i can once again complete the paperwork after a certain bodily function without squeaking like a four year old!

Apparently I was quite a sight in hospital, half sitting, high as a kite on morphine, listening to Joe on my wifes ipod through my bose earphones.

Bahduh, AussieRGman, Artanis

Obviously the fate of the ashes is still to be decided but it will certainly not be a 5-0 whitewash. I won't sat i told you so (but i did!)

Best wishes to all, especially to those affected in any way by the terrible events in the southern states.

Steve
