Clarky, time to start externalising different instruments to see if you can keep the power and defnition without loosing the spread.

This is something interesting to note if you play an old Joe album on a surround sound system, and then put ITLIS on afterwards. Even though neither have been mixed in 5.1, the new recording is more spacious and you can easily concentrate on just one instrument, but when you choose not to, it doesn't remain dominant in the mix. 3D mixing is cool.

Maybe 5.1 is what The Rape... needs?! hehe.

A group of female hurricane Katrina survivors were told to show their breasts if they wanted to be rescued... American rescuers turned their boat around and sped off when the women refused.

well done "rescuers" you really done them proud

Ka Girl, hey I'm really sorry to hear you couldn't race 'cause you couldn't get your spare part.....what was it that broke? I guess keeping a whole set of essential spare parts is good, but it's not easy to afford. Hope you get another racing opportunity soon!

Davey, that story is hard to stomach. Can you imagine? It might not have been safe for the woman to get in a boat with a-holes like that anyway. As I keep being told, for every story like that, there's a story of people helping people. I really have to stop watching the news. Last night I watched two people being interviewed about their experiences after the storm. I had to turn it off before they were done. I went into the chat to try to get things off my mind for a bit, but I was tired from lack of sleep the night before so I didn't stay long. I couldn't even sleep because every time I closed my eyes I pictured myself stuck in the water with dead bodies bumping into me and floating around me. Man o' shit! The horror those people have seen in the past week and a half is unbelievable. God Bless them all.

cube, as for dumb jokes, I've already seen t-shirts that say "Flash me for beads" with the word beads crossed out and "food and water" penciled in. True to the Mardi Gras party attitude. Have a good time no matter what.

Keniko, can I trade your message for a massage. lol! I can't find what you were talking about. I can't function properly before noon. lol!

Happy Humpday people!

Bob Denver, TV's Gilligan, Dies at Age 70

LOS ANGELES - It was supposed to be just a three-hour tour and, if the critics had their way, "Gilligan's Island" would have been forgotten after its three short seasons on television. But somewhere along the line in rerun eternity, television audiences fell in love with the goofy character of Gilligan played by Bob Denver, who died Friday at age 70.

Hey T2J!! just checking in to say hi :o) I just finished doing a string of shows with Vika. It quite a rush stepping on stage to play for a couple thousand people a night. On Sunday night she asked the band if we could do a few instrumental tunes while she changed, & the crowd went nuts after them :o) The response blew me away, maybe there is hope for instrumental rock & shred to make a comeback . I'll post some tour pictures when I get them.

Cheers,
Dan

Has anyone even heard of Eric Roche? What is up, he was a fantstically talented and soulful acoustic player! He was only in his 30's, it was such a shame.
