mikesb:Have your CDs bro, i,ll let y know what i think when i,ve time to digest the sounds. Many thanks, its great to hear great sounding music.I,ve sent you a wee pack o stuff also!

On the ol Bush "sure i know jazz peeps/chord, lol.All laughs aside, Its tough to watch for anyone with a heart & love of the music that came from The Big Easy, a dark mood passes the strings when i hear/see/feel about the inhumanity of it all. I also feel, many want to point the finger at Bush but forget he,s the puppet for a much more powerful force. It seems its a time for questions with no real answers. Maybe its better peeps dont know what really goes on in the Secret op world?

mikesb/michelle/TASTEY, a firm understanding of what the term "tits-up" really means would help. It's nothing derogatory to women....it's just a much abbreviated form of "arse-over-tit", from "head-over-heels", generally suggesting that everything has turned upside down.
SOTD; I Wanna Be Your Friend ~ Mourning Widows. I know none of y'all have heard it, but you gotta believe me, you're missing out, fools. hehe

Hello my friends in Satchland.......I hope all's well in the Kingdom Of Joe.

I'm trying to catch up a bit since I'm a week behind. So here we go......

Zinc: I was really sickened by the information re: "Did New Orleans Catastrophe Have To Happen?" Thank you for sharing that with us. I know we are fed up with the Government and this is my case in point. ...Why are we spending/wasting money on the Space Program?! My point being that they spent millions/billions to find out why Columbia blew up & on the tiles that covered the space craft. The Space project is a luxury, NOT a necessity! Making sure New Orleans can withstand hurricanes and to maintain levee's is a NECESSITY that our government should have made a priority. For Christ's sake it's 10 feet BELOW Sea Level! And to have your levee sink by 4 feet?! Hello???!! And they often get hit by hurricanes. A disaster waiting to happen!!........Who the hell is living in space??? NOBODY we know of.......it shouldn't be a priority. This country and it's citizens SHOULD BE the # 1 priority!! I'm blonde and I have more common sence than these "elected officials" that are basically MORONS! Hello?! End of my rant....... I feel much better now, thanks.

Slanshroom: Hey Roy! How yah been?! Glad t hear your at work on the next album.....Steven Wilde got the 2nd CD that Ronnie kindly sent to replace the one that was stolen from his mailbox. I'll be seeing VAi in Glasgow and Newcastle this Oct....is that any where near the area you and Ronnie are from? Is Martin (Bohita) near there also? I'd love to meet him if he's going to see Vai. I took his CD into work and I get compliments from patients on it......I love it! We also have a Buckethead CD but no one has complimented that one......but I love it!! I hope all's well in Barca Are u going to VAI? Don't miss it!!!

Zenfish: Hey there...I saw ZZ Top a few weeks ago. They still got it but didn't blow me away... I saw them long time ago on the "Eliminator tour" Sammy Hagar opened up. Great show! Any chance you could send another CD for Steven? It was stolen along with Roy's and I didn't burn a copy.........bummer! I know he'd love to hear it. He was really upset when I told him what was in the package. I hope all's well with you and the missus.

Estrella: Hi Sweetie!

Clarky: I've got "enough". LOL I'm looking forward to losing weight/inches everywhere..... the twins included. Clothes fit better if the top/ bottom are smaller..."bigger" ain't always "better"! "The Bigger they are, the Quicker they fall." ;)

ATN: Glad all went well.......hope the healing process is going smoothly. Nothing like the "Agony Of De Feet'...lol! I spoke to Steven Tuesday night. He's surviving OK......Rest up!! Stay off the feet..That's an order!! hehe.

Badhuh: I spoke with Steven Tuesday night......He was really happy to know that you and Suzie and all the others are thinking of him. It means a great deal and he misses everyone here! He's doing better but he's not where he should be....."free and clean". One day I hope he'll be back there. For now he's recorded some guitar tracks and that's going in the RIGHT direction. Let's pray he continues on the right path.........He say's I'm his angel, I think he's mine. Angels on earth need help from above............ I wish for a miracle! In fact I pray for one......

Peace on Earth......Good Will To All Mankind.

Hey all, I don't know if this is old news or not, but I just heard about this tonight at my local music store. In my eyes (having just heard about this) is a great discovery. It's a little thing called the Buzz Feiten Tuning System. If you haven't heard about this, check out www.buzzfeiten.com for info. This guy found a flaw in guitar design that basically makes it impossible to perfectly tune a guitar. I feel like I may be stating old news. My jaw dropped when the guy at the music store was telling me about this cause I sold one of my guitars because I thought it was just plain crappy! But it turns out I was just experiencing this flaw in design! My local music store is charging $200 to "Feitenize" guitars. Worth it? If you're tired of "chasing your tail" when tuning your axe it is!

TOALL: The Buzz feiten tuning system is crapola !! hah! You can ask a luthier and they will tell you that. And to claim that an instrument can be perfectly in tune is a lie also.....no instrument (EVEN PIANO) is perfectly in tune. If a guitar is built correctly, it can be built to have very pure compensated (equal temperment) tuning which makes the guitar slightly out of tune in all registers, thus making the instrument sound pure overall. This is how pianos are tuned. Simply moving the nut won't make a guiar perfectly in tune. My luthier friend told me that what the feiten system does do, is make a porly done fret job (with the crown in the wrong place) sound better. If the fret is crowned in the wrong place, the adjusted nut helps essential move the intonation points. If a guitar is crowned correctly though, the buzz feiten system has no effect. I'll tell you guys that the guitar Peter built for me is really really in tune in all registers, and it uses standard fret spacing. The Feiten thing is bs

TheWheelMan, Washburn's Nuno Bettencourt model guitars use the Buzz Feitin tuning system, and they are extremely well made guitars. I thought the BF seemed pretty good.
OCPS470, it seems a bit harsh to say that the Feitin system is complete BS. As I mentioned above, the N4 uses it, a couple of which I've tried, and both were fantastic in terms of tuning stability. I've not since played a guitar that has stayed in tune as well as the N4 did, which is why I really wish I'd got one instead of the Jem. Oh well, you live and you learn.
marimariSRV, while I understand your frustration, I think money should have been taken from the Flatten The Middle East fund and put into flood defences, rather than taken from the space programme. If they hadn't have spent the mular to figure out how to fix the tiles on the Discovery, they would have either had to a) leave the poor bastards up there, or b) let them burn up on re-entry.

Def Leppard Concert Problem - What's On My Leg?

A 26-year-old man from London, Ontario is facing criminal charges for allegedly urinating on two women at a Def Leppard show last month. According to the London Free Press, the women turned around when they felt liquid splashing the backs of their legs at the August 19th show, and saw the man urinating. They then went to find security, who were joined by two off-duty police officers. Although he wasn't taken into custody at the time, the suspect has now been charged with two counts of assault and one count of committing an indecent act.

This Old Debt of Mine

Rod Stewart must pay $2 million plus interest to the Rio Hotel Casino, a Las Vegas jury decided Wednesday. The venue brought action against the singer after forwarding him a sizable advance for a December 2000 concert at which he was a no-show. Stewart had argued that he couldn't perform because of throat surgery several months earlier. His lawyers say they will appeal the decision.
