Good Morning Satchland......

michelle......Good vibes and prayers for you my friend. Our family has two cats...Snowy and Vision. I know how attached you can get to animals. Hope all works out for Moey and your family.

mari..... saw your post and it reminded me about the DVD. I'm sorry.....no excuses or reasons other than I keep forgetting. I'm still trying to reach Indigenous. Haven't heard from them. Have you? Take care.

Captain.... I couldn't agree more. This is a great forum.

Cheese..... No prob... my friend. I posted to your son a while ago asking him if he likes his Pod XTLive. I'm thinkin' of buying one down the road. I was lookin' for his opinion from one who owns the unit. Ask him about it and let me know. Thanks. Take care.

Have A Great Day Everyone ! ! !

michelle: Sorry to hear about your sick cat. I know what it is like to have a member of the family, which our pets are, come to the end of their time with us. I wish you strength to deal with this and I will say a prayer for you and your family.

Thanks for the help regarding the Classical guitar situation, everyone!!! My local store has a couple of Admira guitars. The one I like has a solid top and is electro-acoustic. It's about £250, which seems pretty reasonable to me. Haven't played it yet, so I have no idea how things stand in that regard, so does anyone have anything to ay about the Admira guitars?????

Ethn - Thanks dude. I won't be using a pick, most likely. I'm trying to learn Classical guitar properly in order to add another dimension to my technique, and also for something more to put on my CV!!!

MikeSb - Since you ask - I have been putting together targetted lists of people I really want to get a music package to. A few in the US but mainly in Japan. I have been kinda busy lately though moving house and working. Off to San Diego and LA in the morning until Monday as well. I'm getting there though.

Mari - YOU KEEP THAT CD!!! Actually, Mr. Vai has a copy of it already. i sent one to his house a couple of months ago. You might ask if he liked it though :o)

Hi Satchland!

cheese101, moving stories, these are so touching stories for all of us...I read once something about that "the hallmark of a deep conversion of spirit is a deeper generosity of spirit"...I think your friends have found that. Truly beautiful. Thanks for sharing your experiences, priceless. And as Mari (marimariSRV) said "We just need to remember that each day is a gift..." I would add not just each day but every minute, every little second...thanks Tracie :-)

marimariSRV, Hi Mari! thanks for the welcome back :-) yeah I had a wonderful time...in a beautiful city, 29 degrees Celsius (85ºF) on average, fresh air all day, no worries, fun...and yeah I have been able to refresh away from phone calls and computers...you know, although I missed being around here also hehe ... so I can say I'm officially back online, it's great to be here. Now I'm trying to catch up with the forum...I don't want to miss anything including your reviews and stories ;-) Nice to see you too :-)
Haha and nice to hear about your "Satrianization" since G3-03 on November 5, 2003"...well...I'll tell mine:

I knew of Joe for the first time back in 1990...I was a great fan of Steve Vai at that time, I still am, but I only had four of Joe's albums: Surfing with the Alien, Flying in a Blue Dream, The Extremist and Time Machine. Afterwards, I lost a bit the thread of Joe's career... I didn't like very much the single "House Full of Bullets" when I listened to it on the radio for the first time and I didn't buy Crystal Planet. And this was precisely the CD that got me hooked on to Joe afterwards...Now I can say that this album is a masterpiece, one of the the most awesome albums ever. Then I bought Engines of Creation(absolutely awesome), Strange Beautiful Music (incredible), I really counted days till the release of Is There Love in Space...Then I won G3 2004 aftershow passes from Steve and I met Joe, it was so nice...and here I am :-) Well, that's my Satch story :-)

achoo, hola, encantada de verte :-)

bahduh, hi! I got your mail, I'll send you another one later :-)

michelle, sorry to hear that, I'm praying for your little guy, I hope he gets better

Zinc Master, happy 2000!

Suzie 2000, hiya back atcha!! Hope all is well with you and hubby....

Keniko, I'll try to nag my son into posting a review on the Pod XT Live pedal as soon as possible...I know he loves it for all the many effects and amps... but getting him to sit still and type is another thing altogether....

LucySorets, thanks to you too. Sometimes in my work, I see things that are sooo sad, sometimes things that make me really mad or disgusted....and then others where I get to meet people like I described yesterday. Those people, and those that are helpless and alone are the reason I do this job. Some days are crushingly difficult, and others just shine..I'd have to say that a day like yesterday was both. Take care!

Happy first day of FALL everyone...SCOTT....it's FINALLY FALL!! Yay!! LOL! My favorite season.....and this year includes a trip to a beautiful winery for an outdoor concert with Joe, Matt, Jeff Galen and others...what could be better than that!!

Love ya Joe!! You ARE doing fine, right? I mean, I'm assuming so, but the worry-wart side of me would like a lil reassurance....a lil blue to say hey to us....barring that, guess I'll see with my own two eyes on October 2nd!! :)

Michelle: I'm so sorry about Moey. He's been a part of your family for a long time, I know it must be very difficult for you. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Good vibes to your family as well. I'm here if you need to talk.

Cuthbert: Thanks so much for answering my question. It still makes no sense but at least I understand why. I knew you would be able to explain it to me. You definitely know your stuff. ; )

FablawyerSBM: OK, I will keep my CD. hehe! I forgot you did tell me you mail one to Steve's house. I will ask him how he liked it.......

Captain Steve: Well spoken. Are you going to see Vai? You're in the UK right?

Zinc: Congrats on 2000!

Suzie2000: Hi Suzie! It was great chatting with you the other day. 3 weeks from Friday I will be getting on the Plane...........it'll be here before I know it!! I'll talk to you soon.

Keniko: No word from Indigenous. I've been too busy to check their site to see if they posted any of my photos. It would've been nice to hear "Thanks for sending us photos" or something.

Billiam: Welcome to the site!

LucySorents: Hi Lucy! Sounds like you had a beautiful holiday, no worries or stress. Very nice! Thanks for sharing your "Satrianization" story......Very Cool. I know my life is so much better since JOe and the people here came into my life. I am eternally grateful to JOe. :o)

ZincMaster :)

MasterYoda- we have an Admira guitar... Matt got it from Spain 15 years ago, and later had it done up, and then he gave it to me as a present! But we both use it. It has a lovely warm tone, and for that kind of price range it's definitely one of the best value makes. Matt loves the tone of it so much that he has used it for one of his pieces during a recital diploma a few years back! Good luck :)

Mari- Yep, not long now til you get on the plane! Will speak to you soon.

Tracie :)

Bahduh- Thanks for asking, school hasn't been too bad so far! Once the first few weeks have gone by it's ok again, but the kids arealways up the wall (literally) until then, so...!! Take care
