Cheesy, Ken, Mari

Glad you agree, thanks.

Mari

Yes I'm a Brit. Unfortunately I believe Vai is all sold out and I don't have tix, but I cannot guarantee I would be in the country anyway. Basically, (after my recent shoulder operation) it would be 'if you are fit enough to go rocking, you are fit enough to get back on a ship and earn some money!'

Having said that, although I have most of Joe's CD's and the SF DVD, all I have of Vai is the G3 CD with Joe/EJ/SV

Keep it real everyone and rock on!

Steve.

Sad to hear your sadness at the passing of your cat.

Shame it wasn't my neighbour's mean SOB of a dog!

Steve.

Michelle..soo srry for your loss..CAT STORY..I once had a cat named "PRICILLA" ,,she was a MAINE COON..cool breed,,she was aquired from a shelter,,and at the time I was much against her. (IM A DOG PERSON) She took to me like you wouldnt believe, she would make MUFFINS on my chest when I was laying on the couch,,follwed me down to the corner store,,LIKE A DOG..just loved me. She was the BEST mouser,,& loved chasing birds & playing with anything she could get her paws on. Well,,as time went on she became VERRY dependant on me as my wife at the time had divorced & I was Stuck with her. She was growing older and became slower and caught less mice & rats. She could not climb a tree neaerly as fast as she could before..by the time she got up the tree,,BIRDS WERE GONE. I remember she always had a weird look on her face LIKE ..WHERE DID THEY GO?? Towards the end,,she slept alot in the sun and always gave me a glance like HEY MY OWNER,,HOWS IT GOIN. Well..im the kind of person that really dosnt liked to be talked to untill Ive had atleast a sip of my coffee in the morning,,BUT ,,PRISILLA started to get NEEDY in the morning..always crying and begging for food (WHICH I RELUCTANTLY GAVE HER,JUST TO TO GET MY COFFEE GOING)..all along cursing her & tellin her to go play on the freeway. Well..one afternoon,,she was sunning,,I started my truck,,got in and looked to make sure she had moved,,well she did,,it was one of the WORST days in my life,,I wont give details,,but I learned alot about how emotional of a man I really am. She is now in the place that dogs & cats go. For a week I swore I head her little bell SOUNDING,,,gawd how I wish I could hear her commin up the drive way,,You know..I CURSE THE DAY I TOLD HER OFF..She was the best cat I ever knew or will ever know. SRRY I CURSED YOU "CILLA",,never again. MICHELLE,,didnt tell this story to rub in ANYTHING,,Your story just brought back memories of a cat that loved a human,,,,DAKOOK

962 - yeah... I've not been around here much.... I've been really busy at work with a couple of very large projects..
and outside of work I have football training 3 nights per week, two matches on Saturday and another on Sunday..
also the mixing of the album, studying sound engineering
at least I don't have the math thing any more [wife was studying for her GCSE so I was helping her with her homework and revision] - she ended up getting a C which she's well please with
and me.. I'm studying to take my CCNA exam which I need to pass so that I can take my CCVP...

I simply have too much to do...

I've cracked my frequency masking problems.. just a few more mixes to go to fine tune things and I'll be there..

Zen - did you get the CD I sent you???

I always have wondered why on "Live in San Francisco" an attendance distinctly express a discontent while Joe is presenting a bassist (i don't know who is he, Stew Something?). Can anybody explain me the reason of that situation? Greetings to all, Squark.

BeNnels, Why not the G3 events? Have I missed something?

Yeah, there's a limit to how much information can be written on a DVD. The file size of the footage taken at the show would have far outweighed the capacity of the disc, so they have to choose a selection from their set.

OME, er, as far as I know 16bit is pretty standard.

PhryDom...hopes yer's feels better's mate!

hoiguy...coil tap splits the Humbucker to single coil...kinda like a Fender Stratocaster...thinner & edgier...great for a piercing lead w/ some gain, or maybe a light strum w/o gain...it's all a matter of taste. As for which songs...I could guess, but maybe, Joe was actually using a Strat anyway...?

Clarky...got yer tickets to Cleveland yet?

Is a Kinks reunion in the cards?

Frontman Ray Davies says not to rule it out. "When [my] solo venture's past, we'll get together and see if there's any music there that's worth hearing," he remarked during a recent interview on U.K. television show BBC Sunday AM. Meanwhile, the Kinks, the Beatles, Eric Clapton, Pink Floyd, Queen, David Bowie and the previously reported Rolling Stones are among the first 100 entertainers to receive plaques on London's Avenue of Stars.
