dck - you been mailed
phryg - bro.. the arguments you laid down a seriously strong in my view...
however, I'm always a little hesitant to put the boot in until I'm 100% sure...
once I'm sure though I can put in a good boot like the best of 'em.. lmao...
seriously though... it's pretty difficult to argue with yor logic..
I mailed DCK.. and like a a single minded "route 1" thinking plonker I forgot to bung you and Chris in on it as I should have done...
I'd love to pay Bill a visit and talk to him nice....
give him a chance face to face to explain himself...
see if he is what he says he is....
or maybe see if he pulls up in a Jag and shouts out the window "Clarky... your wife is really shit in the sack.."... lmao..
anyways... and more importantly.... my RG7620 is in the custom shop getting a left hand conversion and now I've actually seen the wood that is being used for the quilted top...
pass the kleenex someone please... lmao..
Zen - I'm really looking forward to it...
I suspect that you're a bit of a monster player..
Yoda - bro... 5 out of 7 Shredz mix-downs are down....
at somepoint soon - if you're up for it - fancy scoping them out...
I've like your opinions before things are final...
also.. jam session and a beer... lol..

The Winner Is... Fake Dog Testicle Creator
BOSTON - Gregg Miller mortgaged his home and maxed out his credit cards to mass produce his invention — prosthetic testicles for neutered dogs.
What started 10 years ago with an experiment on an unwitting Rottweiler named Max has turned into a thriving mail-order business. And on Thursday night Miller's efforts earned him a dubious yet strangely coveted honor: the Ig Nobel Prize for medicine.
"Considering my parents thought I was an idiot when I was a kid, this is a great honor," he said. "I wish they were alive to see it."
The Ig Nobels, given at Harvard University by Annals of Improbable Research magazine, celebrate the humorous, creative and odd side of science.
Miller has sold more than 150,000 of his Neuticles, more than doubling his $500,000 investment. The silicone implants come in different sizes, shapes, weights and degrees of firmness.
The product's Web site says Neuticles allow a pet "to retain his natural look" and "self esteem."
Although the Ig Nobels are not exactly prestigious, many recipients are, like Miller, happy to win.
"Most scientists — no matter what they're doing, good or bad — never get any attention at all," said Marc Abrahams, editor of the Annals of Improbable Research.
Some, like Benjamin Smith of the University of Adelaide in Australia, who won the biology prize, actually nominated their own work. "I've been a fan of the Ig Nobels for a while," he said.
Smith's team studied and catalogued different scents emitted by more than 100 species of frogs under stress. Some smelled like cashews, while others smelled like licorice, mint or rotting fish.
He recalled getting strange looks when he'd show up at zoos asking to smell the frogs. "I've been turned away at the gate," he said.

sash_wiener I believe you can run an electric or acoustic through a chorus pedal with the "rate" knob turned up realy fast to get a "vibrato" effect. That is how I would do it.
Cheese101 Yep, except I never said "where" in the Eureka area I live. You were probably the car full of grinning idiots I drove by (just joking). :<)
mikesb I hate thieves like that. I too have had my car/truck broken into a few times over the years. I had an electric guitar, peavy amp, and other stuff taken before (1989?).
I had a brief case in there too, with a Bible in it. I can picture the look on their face after jimmying the lock open to see a "Holy Bible" staring up at them!
Hope you get the stuff back.

962: So are you using the Hotplate with the Legacy? I bet that helps out a bunch since the Legacy is louder than ......Loud haha! I'm glad you like it man, it beats the hell out of the Marshall power brake in terms of construction and reliability.

The singer has re-recorded some of the classic songs associated with his distinguished career. A host of guests appear, including current and former members of Deep Purple, plus guitatists Tony Iommi (Black Sabbath), Janick Gers (Iron Maiden), Joe Satriani and Jeff Healey.

Joe Satriani!
JS2 PRM is flawlessly, immaculate...you should be very happy with Hoshino's workmanship...I'm stunned with the fact there's not a single blemish in the aluminum skin...perfection...absolute perfection!!
She's much lighter than the JS10th, and a slightly darker nickel finish to her (as you already know)....sultry indeed.
It may appear that the serial number is 00-01, but I really can't believe that....I'm over joyed with the extreme quality of this piece....wow....thank you for designing, and offering this for us mere mortal's...lol
Peace Out!

js1200js1000 The Marshall Jackhammer is a distortion and overdrive pedal in one, it has two modes, distortion and overdrive. The overdrive is for that Marshall crunch, can either give you a little overdrive to AC/DC type drive. The distortion mode produces a heavier sounding distortion, similar to a Marshall JCM2000 TSL100 or DSL100 amp. Has more than enough controls on it, two modes two chooese from (and each are very different, unlike most other pedals that have the options of using dist. or drive and both sound pretty similar, the Jackhammer has the difference that is supposed to be there. The overdrive mode was made in mind of capturing a Marshall JCM800 type sound, and the distortion mode your Marshall JCM2000 type sound (screaming solos and heavy rhythm). Both modes are pretty accurate, very impressive pedal. I don't want to get rid of it, but I need to sell all my extra gear I don't use, need the money. If you are interested in it let me know, email me at this address: Stevemiester9@aol.com I could give you a great price for it. Put Marshall Jackhammer in the subject line so I don't mistakenly delete your email.

OCPS470, "louder than....well, loud". Hahaha, that's hilarious. Yeah I'm using it with the Legacy and loving it! I've been using the direct line out and experimenting with recording this evening. I haven't recorded anything worth working on 'cause I'm in a relatively uncreative mood at the moment, but the quality of the tone I'm getting is amazing. I haven't even got around to getting the H&K Red Box pro yet, just using the Hot Plate's line out and it's really nice!
Funny you should mention the Powerbrake - I called my local and the guy said "i don't stock THD stuff, but I can get you a Marshall Powerbrake, which is what THD copied for the hotplate". My thought about that was "oh, sure, I'm really going to choose that Marshall piece of cr*p over the THD (although I didn't say that to him, of course!). I don't care if the THD unit only caters for one Ohmage level, it's a real corker! Thanks loads for the heads-up about it!
js1200js1000, haha, no problem dude, you're welcome! Those chrome-tops should look cool in "the black pearl"!
Brother Al, er, I just-about remember your question, and basically yeah, you're right. Ibanez use the same wiring colours as DiMarzio these days, 'cause the two companies have such a strong business relationship. Black and white together, red in the same place as the current red, and green earthed. If you get it wired up and it sounds odd the first thing to try is swapping the red and green.....this usually cures an out-of-phase sound, which I find fairly hard to detect if your guitar needs new strings anyway!

HISTORIC QUOTATION, & CONSEQUENCES?
"The Blues, this shit for partisans of slavery" Miles Davis.
We already know or we learn that jazz was more than music for Davis; it was also a politic & racial fight. Stopping playing Blues & playing only Jazz had a deep meaning for this master of corn: stopping to be a slave crying & becoming the MASTER of several generations of musicians, black, white, & other.
In parallel, a certain Hendrix created something like the Bluesfusion.
We already know or we learn that Davis is probably the greatest figure of all the possibilities of Jazz in 20th century (From swing & bebop until fusion, without forgetting the jazzrock era), even if Ornette Coleman & John Coltrane, after Amstrong, Monk, Mingus, Parker, Gillepsie, Elligton, Clayton have given some directions very different to this music.
The influence of Davis on his fellow colored citizens has been terrible: currently, less & less black people are able to play the delta blues. Less & less black people are giving new indications for Blues.
The Blues, this emotive music between all, this great bridge built between Africa & Occident, out of all the historic shit, this universal deep worry of humanity, must now listen to all a debauchery of jazzfioritures & formated rock & hardrock, these shits for partisans of business.
Blues, Rock, Jazz, when they are good music, are good music.
There's a time for politic.
& a time for music.
Sounds like mr Davis has been surpassed by his own message, & has stigmatized for lot of generations the blues.
The delta blues isn't shit. It's roots. Roots in the manure of history, but roots.
Zen.

cheese101...ah...a JS700..very nice...the 2 Chromeboy's...2 different animals...1 solid heavy luthite + 1 lightweight basswood...both great. Mr. Sam Ash Jr. was there when I opened the JS2 PRM out of the box, & told me I should hang the JS2 PRM on my wall...I told him it would be a sin not to play it...so play it I will! Today they both get set up by my Luthier...should be heavenly...peace out......
Joe Satriani...how are you Sir, any words on your latest efforts?

Suzie - Soundcontrol say that they don't know when it's goin to start - although probably lunch tim/early afternoon - and that it's going to be a first-come-first-served idea, costing £2 on the door. That's all I know I'm, afraid. My and my buddies are going to see DT on the 24th. Guess we can't hook up then... :( You going to see Vai in two weeks?
Clarky - To be honest, I wasn't too keen on the idea until you stuck my two favourite things at the end of your post; jam session and a beer!!!! Well, that and a bloody good shag, but fuck am I glad you aren't offering that!!!!!! No offense dude, but you know... lmao. Nah, seriously that sounds awesome. It's been a while!!!
