sugarbaby6928...not only am I hangin' in there, but I believe I'm flourishing with all this quality time with my music + practice...a blessing in disguise...and the promise on a new gal to share life with....how young....hmmmm....

....when I was 17 it was a very good year....lol... a little Frank Sinatra...to tell you the truth when I WAS 17....i felt like I was 50...now that I'm closer to that age...I feel like I've lightened up, and I'm enjoying life much, much more than ever...so to answer dakook's question how old do I like em...age is not the question as much as temperment...however, I've never dated anyone over 29....oh dear, oh dear... and I'm a slave to beauty (22, or 45).... oh dear....lmao

death cube k.... 2 factory locking Floyd - Les Paul Customs, 1 mid 70's Les Paul Custom...bought it brand new, 1 1969 Les Paul Proffesional/Recording Guitar

now down to 1 Pristine Les Paul Custom Magenta Locking Floyd .... ouch! But, the Chromies have exceeded my expectations.... well worth the loss....

Question for anyone that would know.

I recently got a LP of Not of This Earth. Its framed on my wall right now. Looks sweet since I have the LP sticking out of the jacket so you can see the clear blue vinyl.

Yeah, so my question. I would love to get this signed by Satch. Does anyone know if I can? I would have to send the jacket to him since he's not on tour now, which would be fine with me. I could even send a prepaid mailer with it to send it back in. Thanks for any info.

death cube k...yes, they are that good... Joe designed them to fit his style....low fast legato...bass notes are clear not muddy...highs are brillant round + shrill if you choose.... magnificent....even the best Les Paul can't give you all that a Satch style player is looking for....especially if you're looking to play above the 12th fret with speed + accuracy...scale makes the difference there. With the added phase switch & basswood body on the JS2 PRM...so many subtle tones....when my Luthier was setting it up he noticed a little extra ledge on the front of the locking nut....almost like a Buzz Feiten system....hmmmm....it's not on the JS10th...hmmm?

If you have the opportunity to try one (better yet buy it!) that has been set up correctly.....wow....I've played both of them for about 4 hours so far today...the night is still young....can't put them down for long...the trem is so precise....I could go on and on...lol Suffice to say, my optimism for what my playing will become is hard to put into words...

WEBMASTER ~ it's closer. New news please :) I don't know if I should pre-order it, or a better deal is going to come along?

G3 - Live In Tokyo - Oct 25, 2005 (DVD and 2-CD)

This upcoming release showcases the amazing 2005 G3 lineup in Tokyo featuring Joe, Steve Vai, and John Petrucci. It is coming out as both a double-CD and a full-length DVD and more information (contests, song samples, album artwork and more) will be coming as the release date gets closer.

Stevee, I was at Sam Ash yesterday also! We drove through all that rain to King of Prussia so my son and his band friends could go ape-shit looking at all the stuff they want. It was fun, and the staff there is pretty cool too.

Thanks to those of you who wished my son a happy birthday. Last night he said "What? You have friends with names like punkdude, cheese, and tool?" lmao!!! Guess Keniko and Stevee T were to original sounding? lol! Thanks peeps!

So, last nights news said this past storm on Friday and Saturday brought 11 inches of rain. I thought we were going to have to take a boat to Sam Ash. I'm glad it wasn't windy, or my basement would have gotten water in it. Once again, the duck suit stayed in the closet :)

Zenfish: YJM is coming to NYC and closer to me I'm sure....The spleen is touring again.... wonder who is opening for him? George Lynch was GREAT! I'll see him again.....

Suzie: No Problem sweetie. I'm still wearing the wrist brace for the 3rd time......and the other problem has subsided...... Can't wait to see you and Matt!!

962: Hey Simon, Yes I'm still Stateside....I'll be arriving Saturday am. Matt & Suzie are meeting me. Cool. I have to be at the sound check so if you want to meet up afterwards that'd be cool. I should be done after 4 or so (maybe earlier 3:00? but I don't know what's going to happen). Maybe we should pick a place to meet? Master Yoda, Suzie2000 & her hubby Matt will be coming in to meet up. I'll let y'all figure that out.......Just tell me where to show up! LOL! I will be wherever everyone decides! I just have to leave early so I am ready for Eric Sardinas's set. You won't want to miss his set, he's EXCELLENT!!

Tetovo: Hi Ivan! Nice to see you here! Glad you saw VAi.....I miss Joe Too! It was great to share After show with you. Such a great experience! Take Care my friend.

Stevee T: WELCOME to my world! It's been 3 years for me and I'm not even looking..... maybe cause I'm looking for guys....there ain't to many good one's out there regardless of age. On the other hand if I was looking for a woman I'd probably do much better. LOL! ...you will have no problem. You are a nice person & a good looking guy......No problem for you.

Mari, good luck on your trip! I know you'll have a fantastic time. Hope you're feeling better. Oh, and from getting emails from my daughter, I know that <3 is a heart.

Can't wait till tomorrow. I'm going to take Alive In An Ultra World out to my car and air it out this week. I haven't heard it in months. Everything sounds so good in my car, and what better motivation when going to work or the pool. I had AIAUW with my signed cd's and put them in the basement when we were moving things around. Out of site, out of mind. I can't wait to hear it again.

SOTD, Always with me, always with you

Hi there Joe I have been a student of yours now for seven years & have tryed to understand your command of the guitar.Your such a good player & you have my respect to max!!!!!! Bought all of your albums and look forward to your next stuff. I do have a question & one you might be able to help me on.

I'm trying to get my chromatic lines together. The thing is I carn't really find any type of exercises that are any good. I've had a go at Flight of the Bumble Bee which is pretty mad but it doesn't help me musicly,Joe if you know what I mean?

Is there anything that you know might help me get out of this problem? A book would be great if you know any?

Thanks if you help & if you don't get this message all the best in your life & thank you for the hours your music has given me through the years man.YOU ARE THE MAN!!!! P.s. Can I have your amp?lol

marimariSRV, "I just have to leave early so I am ready for Eric Sardinas's set. You won't want to miss his set, he's EXCELLENT", I know, I saw Eric's jaw-dropping set right before the Liva At The Astoria show in 2001. Also, gigs in the UK don't work like gigs elsewhere, you don't really just stroll in as and when you feel like it. People will start queing about 3-4 hours before doors open :-(
Powerslave, Ty Tabor's ace, you gotta love his pro use of the Wah pedal!
Anybody in the UK know how much a JS10th goes for these days? I'm guessing it's still 2 and a 1/2 K or thereabouts?
