Bendie Ben, you need to listen to some hardcore rhythm players. Check out anything that Nuno Bettencourt did, he's one of the best rhythm players out there. Also, if you find a copy of "T-Ride" check that out, but it's like gold-dust, so don't put any money on finding a copy! I think you can get it on amazon-usa though.

Listening to Nuno's rhythm playing has helped me more than anyone else. In conjunction with that, try to play rhythm to imaginary drum patterns in you head....think of a drum fill or a shuffle or something...anything...and replicate it on guitar.

Optik, yeah my feeling about G3 '03 was the same....it just didn't work with Yngwie, I thought Eric Johnson on G3 96 was amazing!
PhryDom, haha, that's hilarious! Damn singers, they're always getting busted on drug charges! They never seem to actually serve a sentence though...

Sunnyboy

Rather than argue about the in's and out's of the 20/20 series, ODI's and Test series I will leave it to Ricky Punter and Shame Warne who both said 'England were the better team, they consistently outplayed us throughout the series'.

Your turn.

Keep rocking.

Pink Floyd News

A DVD version of the 1995 Pink Floyd concert video Pulse will be released in the United Kingdom on Dec. 5, and likely will be made available in the United States around the same time. The feature, which originally was issued in the VHS format, captures 1994 Floyd performances in London during the band's final tour. The disc also will include music videos, bonus live footage and a documentary titled Goodbye to Life as We Know It.

So where is Brown?

There is Brown!

He is upside down.

How about a larger iPod screen, which can show the text as it is spoken to you (with pictures).

Kind of like the Leap Frog series available now?

Can see, hear and read along.

It's plain to see, for you and me

That Ranting Cuth's a poet

You'll have to lump it, if you give him a trumpet

For he'll surely want to blow it!

But for my part, I'll tell you his heart

Is firmly in the right place

Though I still want to know, I'm asking you Joe

Please tell me, Is there love in space?

Old Steve he likes to rhyme

He does it all the time

He'll give it a holler, for only a dollar

And sometimes for less than a dime.

Keep rocking (and ranting)

Steve

Good Morning Satchland...... How Are We Today ?

I got this email and wanted to share this with you. This says it all. This is a story in the Tampa Newspaper.

Will we still be the Country of choice and still be America if we continue to make the changes forced on us by the people from other countries that came to live in America because it is the Country of Choice??????

Think about it

All I have to say is, when will they do something about MY RIGHTS? I celebrate Christmas, but because it isn't celebrated by everyone, we can no longer say Merry Christmas. Now it has to be Season's Greetings. It's not Christmas vacation, it's Winter Break. Isn't it winter break ALWAYS occurs over the Christmas holiday? We've gone so far the other way, bent over backwards to not offend anyone, that I am now being offended ! But it seems that no one has a problem with that. This says it all. This is an editorial written by an American citizen, published in a Tampa newspaper. He did quite a job; didn't he? Read on, please ! !

IMMIGRANTS, NOT AMERICANS, MUST ADAPT. I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Americans. However, the dust from the attacks had barely settled when the "politically correct! " crowd began complaining about the possibility that our patriotism was offending others. I am not against immigration, nor do I hold a grudge against anyone who is seeking a better life by coming to America. Our population is almost entirely made up of descendants of immigrants However, there are a few things that those who have recently come to our country, and apparently some born here, need to understand. This idea of America being a multicultural community has served only to dilute our sovereignty and our national identity. As Americans, we have our own culture, our own society, our own language and our own lifestyle. This culture has been developed over centuries of struggles, trials, and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom.

We speak ENGLISH, not Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society, LEARN THE LANGUAGE ! ! ! "In God We Trust" is our national motto. This is not some Christian, right wing, political slogan.. We adopted this motto because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture.

Part Duex

If Stars and Stripes offend you, or you don't like Uncle Sam, then you should seriously consider a move to another part of this planet. We are happy with our culture and have no desire to change, and we really don't care how you did things where you came from. This is OUR COUNTRY, our land, and our lifestyle. Our First Amendment gives every citizen the right to express his opinion and we will allow you every opportunity to do so! But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about our flag, our pledge, our national motto, or our way of life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great American freedom, THE RIGHT TO LEAVE. It is Time for America to Speak up If you agree -- pass this along; if you don't agree -- delete it!

AMEN

I agree with this 100%. Then I started thinkin' about what we are doing in Iraq. Are we or are we not doing the same thing?Forcing are beliefs on a country that hates us to begin with. They relaliate by blowing up innocent people, there leaders and killing our soldiers. I'm a little confused. I don't like the things stated above in the letter. I don't like Terrorism either. But I also don't like us trying to change a country into our way of life. That's there society and beliefs. Does that make us hipocrites? Where than lies the answer?

Have A Great Day ! ! ! !

FYI...... I got the Dec. issue of Guitar World. It's a tribute to Dimebag. I can't belief it's been almost a year. Vinnie speaks out publiclly for the first time since Dime's murder and it's very moving. The video of Dime on the CD is great. Dime talks about his love for Dean guitars and how his endorsement came about and other things. Zakk Wylde does a tribute to Dimebag with his video and song" In This River" Nick Bowcott plays Dimes favorite licks live on video and It's awesome..... A must have if you're a Dime fan. Take care.

Have A .......you know the rest ! ! !

How about a little fun? Trivia about sex.....

What a wonderful world we live in ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

In Lebanon, men are legally allowed to have sex with animals, but the animals must be female. Having sexual relations with a male animal is punishable by death.

( THAT makes sense.) *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

In Bahrain, a male doctor may legally examine a woman's genitals, but is prohibited from looking directly at them during the examination. He may only see their reflection in a mirror.

(Do they look different reversed?)

*~*~**~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Muslims are banned from looking at the genitals of a corpse. This also applies to undertakers. The sex organs of the deceased must be covered with a brick or piece of wood at all times.

(A brick??)

*~*~**~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

The penalty for masturbation in Indonesia is decapitation.

(Much worse than "going blind!")

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

There are men in Guam whose full-time job is to travel the countryside and deflower young virgins, who pay them for the privilege of having sex for the first time Reason: under Guam law, it is expressly forbidden for virgins to marry.

(I'm coming out of retirement

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

In Hong Kong, a betrayed wife is legally allowed to kill her adulterous husband, but may only do so with her bare hands. The husband's illicit lover, on the other hand, may be killed in any manner desired.

(Ah! Justice!)

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Topless saleswomen are legal in Liverpool, England but only in tropical fish stores.

(But of course!)

*~*! ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

In Cali, Colombia, a woman may only have sex with her husband, and the first time this happens, her mother must be in the room to witness the act.

(Makes one shudder at the thought.)

*~*~*~*~**~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~**~*~*

In Santa Cruz, Bolivia, it is illegal for a man to have sex with a woman and her daughter at the same time.

( I presume this was a big enough problem that they had to pass this law?)

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

In Maryland, it is illegal to sell condoms from vending machines with one exception: Prophylactics may be dispensed from a vending machine only "in places where alcoholic beverages are sold for consumption on the premises."

(Is this a great country or what? Well . . . not as great as Guam!)

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Banging your head against a wall uses 150 calories an hour.

(Who volunteers for this stuff?)

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Humans and dolphins are the only species that have sex for pleasure.

(Is that why Flipper was always smiling?)

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

The ant can lift 50 times its own weight, can pull 30 times its own weight and always falls over on its right side when intoxicated.

(From drinking little bottles of .... ?)

(Did the government pay for this research??)

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Butterflies taste with their feet.

(Ah, geez.)

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

An ostrich's eye is bigger than its brain.

(I know some people like that.)

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Starfish don't have brains.

(I know some people like that, too.)

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

And, the best for last:

Turtles can breathe through their butts.

(I know people that talk through their ass! Does that count?)
