Joe: I think we have a problem here. Or I have a problem I mean. I just fell in more love with you Joe. I just watched you play the nation anthem and oh my gosh. I mean that just brought tears to my eyes man. That was so amazing, I just love what you do. I cant get over it you are..... WOW. I dont even have words to explain how your music makes me fell man. It's incredibul. All I have to say is that you will never lose me as a fan. I cant even thank you enough. I will pay you 50,000 dolars to play at my wedding. I dont care. I will start saving now. Thats it I made up my mind. I just hope that you will be here when that time comes and not on tour. Just dont stop what your doing. It is to beautiful to give up.

Love you man.

I have but one thing to ask you, Please show us a little blue. When you get time. But please hopfully it is soon cause we die hard fans need it! We are going crazy. Thanks man. Thanks a lot. :)

Oh man........as much as I have been lusting for a JP1000BP (and still do), then I stumble upon this.

http://www.zipworld.com.au/~mayor/satriani/images/gear_js1000_2.jpg

*DROOLS*. I wonder if that was a custom, or just one that was pulled before it got a colored finish. MAN, is it purty! Looks like a mahogany body instead of basswood, but I could be wrong.

Joe....if anyone is listening, talk the Ibanez folks into making this as a production model.......please? ;-)

And a general question for all.....anyone know where I can find one of these for purchase? I'd even be willing to pay a finder's fee. http://www.goincase.com/2004/prod_guitar/main_guitar.php http://www.betterguitar.com/Equipment/OtherGear/IncaseTourBag/ElectricTourBag.html http://www.goincase.com/2004/prod_guitar/main_guitar.php

Scotty _ that guitar is very cool. Natural finish and 7 strings. It is , so far , custom only,. I think Joe had 2 with him on stage. No other info than that.

Ahaaaa That explains the tense attitude I received when I tried to understand the format for the submission of my heart felt music to the first T2J cd and was then treated like a child, which therefore created a disdain for posting, therefore I do not have 3000 posts. (deep breath !)
I Still Love This Place!

Greetings....still from wine country!!

Hey everyone, absofreakinlutely FABULOUS day.....I have so much to tell and not sure anyone wants to actually hear my babble....but the concert was incredible...all the artists were so great, it was pretty much a perfect day.

Joe dint play his own set though, which we were expecting...instead, he jumped on stage to play two different times with the Doobie Brothers...but that was FAB as well!! And he was smiling, laughing, gettin into the groove....looked like he had a great time!! I got some really good photos, after I get home tomorrow will post them up. Here's a hint...Joe DINT wear his sunglasses on stage!! It was GREAT!! LOVED seeing the expressions on his face as he played...and when he was announced, he brought the house down!!

SCOTTY!!!! MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!! *wink wink*....it'll be in the mail to ya on Tuesday...no pick though...but we DID get to stand and chat with Mike Manning for a bit while waiting in line to get into the venue....he's a really nice and funny guy!!

And yes, we managed to get a chance to say HEY to Joe in person, after the show was over...he was as sweet as ever, signed a picture for us to send to Scott and took a picture with us...he was in a hurry though and had to go but hey, we got a chance to connect again and what could be better!!

As to the rest of this most marvelous day....the winery is so gorgeous, especially at this time of year...the weather was perfect. Lisa Loeb came on first and my goodness, she was a surprise!! That girl can sing beautifully and PLAY!! She's great and was sooooo funny! At one point, the wind blew the back of her dress wayyyy up...so she called for some duct tape, made a big ball of it and taped her dress to her butt!! It was so funny! GREAT singer! I gotta get a cd....

The Turtles were just absolutely classic, and so freakin funny! Loved them! They pretended they were all these different groups throughout the 70's and 80's and did this compilation song from the different groups...so hilarious! Then came Little Feat, great, Loggins & Messina, great, Taj Mahal, great, and the Doobie Brothers, great!! Of course, Joe....GREAT!!

At the very end all the artists came back out on stage for a final jam to one of the Doobie's songs...we were all singing along at the top of our lungs, dancing on the grass..it was sorta magical! Or well, it woulda been cept for all the peeps who were falling down from having had too much wine...guess that's what happens when you have yer concert in a winery!! And no, I dint fall down even once....

All in all, a day to remember....and to go back again next year fer sure...

THANKS JOE, for being part of this day and for taking the time to stop and say hi!! We love ya lots!!

I interrupt our regulary scheduled banter to say that not only is Tracie the bomb, she's the whole bloomin' arsenal!

: )

Hope you took lotsa pictures!

Civgeek: I also wouldn't mind having a 6 string version of that natural mahogany finish either. I've never played a 7 string, but mannnnnnnnnnnnn................that thing is almost as good looking as Catherine Zeta Jones. ;-)

Trutina:I applaud the guts that took to come here & spill it out, it shows you care enough for the T2J site to try & put things straight, however, i do question if you are able to do that here, where else have you been at it? I know people who are pushing up daisys for a lesser crime.I wish you peace of mind & a brighter future friend

DCK,OCPS,Phrydom:Everyone fucks up at some time in life, some big, some small. Bill is paying the price of that, a second chance...absolutely.While i understand your anger, lets face it, musicians have always been a soft target, fraud is rife in the industry. If anything, it shows a small example to the younger generation here how easy it is to get screwed. I think we have it in us to support him to clean up,after all, it may just be the only friends he has at the end of the day

Powerslave, I'm sure one of the production hard-tail JS's was done with a natural finish, but, as far as I know, none of the JS1000's.

Joe has quite a few though, and I think his double-neck is natural finish. I don't think they're mahogany though, just stained.

Good morning Satchland !

Our fearless president has chosen Harriet Miers to succeed Sandra Day O' Connor on the Supreme Court. Sounds like she's very qualified for the job. I have to mention though that I've never laughed so hard in my life at seven o' clock in the morning after I heard this woman say on live television, that George Bush is "One of the most brilliant men I've met in my life".....LMAO ! ! Apparently she has'nt met very many men, which would also explain why she is'nt married. Also, I learned today that you don't have to be a judge to be on the supreme court. In fact 27 former nominees for the SC had no experience as an actual judge. Whazzup with that?
