OH MY GOD!!! The Rolling Stones are INcredible........simply Superb!! My very 1st Stones concert. I'm blown away. Ronnie and Keith waved to me as they went by on the stage. Ronnie even posed for a shot with my camera phone but I don't know where it went to. (new phone) I think I saw them leaving the venue......there were 5 silver vans with a police escort in the front and back. I saw Tour buses parked under and overpass off of I-95 and they headed right that way.......Hmmm. If I ever get to photograph the Stones I'll consider myself famous.... LOL even if it's only to myself. haha! I think I'm going to try to photograph them. After my VAi tour I'll work on photopasses from them next. Why not, Eh?
Castle49: I was thinking of you when I was there......What a great show! I met some guys from England. The one had a Stones Stockholm Sweden 2003 Tshirt on so I asked if he was from Sweden and we started chatting. I'll post a review tomorrow. I have to be up at 5:30 for work........my brain's shutting down. Those guys are soooo skinnny! MIck just cracks me up with his gestures and expressions.
Night peeps.

Hey Joe, dan from the UK here! hows it been going lately? i was so pleased to hear that a new g3 dvd is on the way and also that you are going in the studio again - Is There Love In Space? was such and amazing album I don't think there is one track on there that I think ah I can't be bothered to listen to that right now, I have to listen to them all! My teacher has got the tab book and has been teaching me a lot of the things from it seeing as you are his biggest inspiration as well as mine. He did pretty much the whole of Up In Flames with me apart from the mad solo which he said he couldn't do but I layed down the rhythm for it and he did it perfectly from what I could hear! However he did tell me which scales to use and he did the rhythm and let me "widdle" around them for a while which was great fun. I shall definately be looking forward to some new material from you because I can't get enough of it! Also I will definately be looking at coming to see you live sometime, hey how about John 5's new album? Wouldn't he be a good choice for g3? Well thanks for listening to me ramble on, I shall look forward to the new dvd, album, etc and all the best with everything - peace out man, Dan

Correct. The so called World X1 was drubbed in the 1 dayers. The results howver, may have been a little different if there had been another 9 Englishmen in the side!

Hey all from ireland!! my name is jonny, im a 16 year old guitarist from belfast, some buddies and i are getting together to rise money for charity, and we decided to do a g3. so we realized that there would be all sorts of copyright etc etc that would have to be acknowledged, so we invited two more guitarists in. g5. surprisngly enough it looks good, weve got varied styles all over the place, we've two classical "yngwie with less 80's-ness" if that makes sense, playing a yamaha and a guild 7string between them, a "tap and shred" guy playing a les paul, a blues player on the prs, and yours truly on the satch type playing wich might as well be a genre in its own thanks to the dive bombs in bluesy solos, on my ergodyne. all in all it should be a good night, when we definately know what night it is. with each others instrumental bands playin thier own sets, then a huge g5 jam at the end, it follows the g3 style, but we have written an entrance and exit song "hello" and "goodbye" wich all of g5 will play! anybody from ireland that might turn up, give me a shout, were running it for three nights and advertising will be widespread so you might not miss it!

Nice chattin w/ ya'll last night. As usual, I had an abrupt exit, but hey duty calls.
Latest band news: We have another guitarist. That last guy was just not picking up the songs fast enough. The new guy is on the ball. We have 28 tunes introduced and ready for polishing and it's been two weeks. We should be out playing by Feb. *fingers crossed*
If anyone has some suggestions for cover band names pass them along. Either on the board or by email. Right now we are called Hook'D but it just doesn't grab you. Help please. I have till Sat to come up with alternatives.
Thanks

It seems my worries over level design in UnrealEd were for no reason, yesterday we had our first practical tutorial using the software and I was steaming ahead of the majority of the class considering it was the first time I'd used it. Seeing as I'm finding it so easy I think I'm going to use the book I bought to put in some super-cool particle effects systems like rain and such just to add some more atmosphere to the level...and ofcourse to show off lol.
I've already decided on two songs I wanna use in the level, one is "Hanging Gallows" by Death Cube K for the first part of the level, and for the really hardcore blast-em-up part I'm going to use either "Perineum" or "Damaged" from John 5's new album...most likely "Perineum" though as its about 5 minutes long and this is a timed assault level.
Last night we went for a night out to a club in Stoke called "Fluid" or "Liquid" or something moist like along those lines...it had 3 rooms, the dance room where everything was ridiculously loud and repetitive, the hip-hop room where the ladies were really really noice, and the rock room where the ladies were nice and the music was good. For the first time since I got to Uni a DJ finally played my most requested song...."Walk" by Pantera!...too bad they played a lot of fag-rock as well...you can't really pull off putting Coldplay between SOAD and Black Sabbath, it kills the mood.

Good Mornin' Satchland....... How Are U Peeps?.......
Well I have Good news and Bad news........
Good news....... My old bass player from 2 yrs. ago called me. He was lookin' for another band and saw my post on a local bulliten board and wants back in. Fine by me. Mick is on the media page mp3's. He's from England and really a great guy and I'm excited to play with him again. Check him out with the band. http://www.thebluesmavericks.com
Bad News...... My boys cars were broken into Mon. about 3am. Aaron had a in dash DVD player that was tore out of the dash and a power amp from the trunk. They smashed his window to gain access. Sean's car just had his drivers door window smashed which activated the alarm. We all woke up about the same time when we heard the alarm. Aaron turned the alarm off with the remote never thinkin' we were vandalized.(in a 1/2 a sleep daze) We discovered all this leaving for work. Insurance will cover Aaron's car but Sean is out $165 'cause it's under the $500 deductable. I HATE INSURANCE. IT'S A RACKET. A side story..... A silver lining?.....The investigating officer was the back up cop on a call to our house a couple years ago for Sean's Bon Voyage' party before he went to Florence,Italy for 3 months to draw with the masters. Long story short Sean and I ended up getting arrested for disorderly conduct. The cop remembered us and likewise and we started talkin about the night. He said he felt real bad about what happened and thought the arresting officer that night was way out of line and no arrests should have been made. He than stated when he'd pass by our house on patrol he would be reminded of the night and it would bother him. He said he wanted closure in the matter and stuck out his hand. We all shook hands and Sean and I told him how how much that ment to us. I told Sean the night of the arrest that he did nothing wrong and the cops totally provoked the whole thing. This shows I was right but it was a great feeling to hear this from the cop.
michelle....How'd the party go? I bet you guy's had a blast. From the to original Keniko....LOL..... Hugs to you.
Stevee T...... Will the pics be up soon for Chromeboy? I missed something....What's a JS10th? excuse my ignorance please.
Mari...... Good luck to you on your trip. I bet your really excited. Cindy and I will be thinkin' of you on the 14th. Take care and be safe. Hugs.....
Have A Great Day Everybody ! ! ! !

punkdude75 - How amazing is the Dream Theater Live at Budokan DVD!!!?! If you didn't watch the whole thing yet, go do it right now, you don't want to miss a second of that DVD, it's sooo f'n amazing! In my opinion, DT is the BEST band ever...try and name any other band that doesn't haven't at least a song or two that you don't like...impossible! DT is the only band I can actually say that doesn't have a single song I don't like! The skill level of everyone in DT is incredible. I just missed seeing them live a few weeks ago when they were on the Gigantour, but not that big of a disappointment, I'd rather see them when it's just them and they play a nice 2-3+ hour show. Can't wait 'till DT comes back to my area! (I'm listening to DT right now too, Scenes from a Memory.) Amazing band (period). I can't wait until this G3 DVD is out, JP is on it! F#@! yeah!
---Also, Alice Cooper is on tour, my dad brought me with him to see Alice Cooper Saturday in Atlantic City...He put on a great show/concert. Pretty old guy and still rocking out, I've seen Cooper before, this show was much better. I liked the band that played before Alice Cooper went on, Super Group (I think that was there name), AC/DC-ish copy-cat kinda band, but they kicked ass. Anyone else see Alice Cooper recently?
