Just went to see a concert tonight nr. Covent Garden of classical guitarist Carlos Bonell- it was fantastic! It was in a lovely church with great acoustics, great orchestra too. :)

Master Yoda- Thanks for the info. Will have to look out for that Petrucci event! The 25/10 DT gig's 2nd half is apparently going to be one whole classic album- not sure exactly which though, will have to check the DT site! I should have got tickets for both Hammersmith gigs! Yep, on 19th (Vai gig) hopefully we will all be able to meet up for a beer, Simon (962) is going too and I think able to meet up - Mari will also of course be there (but much earlier in the day than us- I can't take the day off sadly!)

I do have a Crocidile Hunter searching for an "Electric Rainbow' which would really add a jewel to the crown....my fingers are very sore now, after switching between both... comparing their nuances......if you can get one...one that's not mint maybe...get it...they play like Joe would have them... then find a talented Luthier, and use Joe's spec's for The Chromeboy in the Vault/Archieve section of Gary Brawer's setup....whew...nothing stopping me but myself now....liberating...yet exhilaratingly daughnting...!!

That's sooo funny, and sooooooooo wrong!! :) But I am learning...Chris and I can play a mean duet now...something like Claire de Lune...but that's ONLY if I can hold him back from going off into some mad riffs all around my plodding fingers!! LOL!! I DO love my 700 though... ;) Strangely, it was held hostage in Chris's room for awhile this evening...I had to rescue it before he decided to sleep with it cuz it's MINE!! LOL!!!

Alright, it's almost time for the G3 Live in Tokyo release and you can go to sonymusic.com or vai.com for more info on pre-ordering. My question is, according to the G3 page on this website, it says there will be more info about giveaways and contests concerning the new G3 in the weeks leading up to the release date---well, it's a little over 2 weeks away, where's the info?

Suzie, yeah I'm going to London earlier in the day with the intention of meeting up. I didn't realise everybody was working in the day though, so I'm happy to arrange something with mari. I'll give you a call next weekend if that's okay?
marimariSRV, I'm assuming you're still on home turf?! As you see in my message above to Suzie, I'll be in London some time during the morning.....well, I guess I'll arrive around noon actually. My mom and I will be taking the train, and I'd guess we'll go to Waterloo to start with but I don't know yet.

I just attended an STEVE VAI concert here in Malmö,Sweden and it was incredible, but it also made me miss JOE even more. I saw G3 two years ago in Gothenburg, but i have never seen Joe in a solo concert!
So, what are the chances of an European solo tour next year or two?
p.s Eric Sardinas rocks, great support for Vai!
p.s2 Vai mentioned that he is hoping for an G3 tour with John McLaughlin!

Yeah so Arnie is the govemor of California hey he must know that i own it man ,i remeber when they were putting the govenor system in place me the owner i was nt allowed to have anything to do with it ,like who got in man but what makes me think machine gun frankor that he knows i own it was because on t.v. one time for T3 he said a special thanks to all are para-dier man meaning paradice and bombardier man you see i always use to ride my dirt bike to california man in fact i even hooked up with donny one time at C.U. man when i was getting all of my degrees and everything i needee for the canadian guvernment so i knew when i needed to waste acop man my education is higher then there,s man but on the street they think i only have grade nine man it,s funny man everyone always thinks im in para-dice riders but im not im just friend s with the president man i think they think im in because he,s do much older than me man.i was just in cali afew yrs ago man had to grab some money to pay off the guvernment man debts grease basically man anyways they didnt want to let me back into canada at the border cuz my record man so the california guvernment sent the cops the cops told them to let me cross back in man cool hey no i only see donny once in ablue man but he like to be my friend it seems like it like helping with the commits kill man ,but im sure arnie doesnt know how many time cali has been machine gunned man but i do have the lowest crime rating of any owner to date arnie cool hell meet me sometime man hopefully later wolf2.

SteveeT....I'm certain Rich Harris has an Electric Rainbow or two, and I'm sure he'd want an arm and a leg for one, but it does'nt hurt to ask. And considering that you guys are only a few miles apart , that would be your best bet. And I know he does'nt like to part with his guitars, but every one has their price.

i found on e-mule a file called "instrumental with metallica", which looks like joe satrani's. the problem is that i can't find any reference about it, so i'm not sure who's the author.
