punkdude75 - How amazing is the Dream Theater Live at Budokan DVD!!!?! If you didn't watch the whole thing yet, go do it right now, you don't want to miss a second of that DVD, it's sooo f'n amazing! In my opinion, DT is the BEST band ever...try and name any other band that doesn't haven't at least a song or two that you don't like...impossible! DT is the only band I can actually say that doesn't have a single song I don't like! The skill level of everyone in DT is incredible. I just missed seeing them live a few weeks ago when they were on the Gigantour, but not that big of a disappointment, I'd rather see them when it's just them and they play a nice 2-3+ hour show. Can't wait 'till DT comes back to my area! (I'm listening to DT right now too, Scenes from a Memory.) Amazing band (period). I can't wait until this G3 DVD is out, JP is on it! F#@! yeah!
---Also, Alice Cooper is on tour, my dad brought me with him to see Alice Cooper Saturday in Atlantic City...He put on a great show/concert. Pretty old guy and still rocking out, I've seen Cooper before, this show was much better. I liked the band that played before Alice Cooper went on, Super Group (I think that was there name), AC/DC-ish copy-cat kinda band, but they kicked ass. Anyone else see Alice Cooper recently?

Alan, Alan, Alan - what the hell?? Somebody send the poor lad some nice girlie pics please.
Delfino, I know exactly what you're talking about. Even on the radio they play a killer heavy tune, then follow it by some mamby-pamby bullshit song. Usually I crank it up, then get in the shower or something, then when the crap song comes on after the good one, I'm stuck listening to it at high volume. Hate that. lol!
Keniko, the party was fun, but obviously not as much fun as yours. I hate power-trippers, and it sound like that dillweed of a cop was one. Nice to know the other cop had heart enough to speak the truth. I take it the nasty one was his superior officer and he couldn't speak up? Maybe? As for the cars being broke into - man does that suck!! I've had my drivers side window shot out by a BB gun about 2 years ago, but they didn't take anything. You feel so violated when stuff like that happens. Why can't these people just get a fucking job and pay for their own shit!!! GRRRR! Replacing car windows isn't cheap either. Bloody bastards! Isn't it amazing how windows can be smashed and nobody hears anything? Where are the witnesses when you need them? Don't even get me started on insurance companys!! Do they ever cover ANYthing when you need them too? They have loopholes for their loopholes! Have you seen - they're trying not to cover hurricane damage down south by saying it was...water damage. The houses look like splintered lumberyards!! Health insurance, home insurance, car insurance - it all has those tiny little fine lines that nobody tells you about till after something happens. It's almost like they make up the rules as they go along. Again - bloody bastards!! Just glad the boys are okay and nobody was hurt.
edit for al :)

Brother al........ What the hell is that all about?
michelle........Thanks for your kind words. As for the arresting
officer. He was a young cop on a power trip and that came from the cop that shook our hands. Well we knew that. Anyway, It just was nice for a cop to fess up like that. As we all know that don't happen a lot if ever. I was a little taken back but apology excepted lets move on. Reguards to the robbery. Turns out it started on Fri. night through out various sections of the town. They hit 35-40 cars. There's an retired Sherrif that lives 11/2 blocks from me. He got hit and they even took his badge from the glove compartment. One guy got a hold of one of the robbers and had him by the legs. The robber took his boot off and was beating this guy on his head untill he let go. The dude had a mild concussion and identified them as two Hispanic boys in there 20's. The evidence cop took prints from my boys cars and said they got good prints and they could catch them from the prints. My boys had to be finger printed to eliminate there prints off there cars. You're right you feel violated. You just don't think it will happen in your nieborhood. Sometimes I think these guys come from Chicago which is only 20 mile straight East from our town. They case out the town and then hit it. Who knows? With the random bugleries all over town I may not be far off. Will see ...I hope they catch them. Nice ending to this fairy tail......IMHO....LOL......What else can U do? Like you said I'm glad no one was hurt. It just.....well..... SUCKS.
Stevee T....... Like I said I missed something. Thanks for clearin' that up for me. I thought it was the name given to the guitar based on the serial #'s. ie: 00001,00002,00003 etc.
Have A Good DAY ! ! ! !
Joe...... Where R U ? We all got the Blue Blues. Lets see some Blue....... PLEASE ! ! ! !..... Hugs to the family, band and crew. Take care.

I have been searching for news of a concert. My seventeen
yr. old has taught himself to play and watches your video all
the time. He patterns his playing after you and I know that it
would be a dream come true to see you live. After school and working, he is devoted to his music. I would love to be able to send him to a concert for a Christmas gift. What do you have planned for the remainder of 2005 and 2006. Please tell me that you will be within reach for us to send him
to a concert. We live in Longview Texas. Hope to be able to see you some time this year! You're the best in his eyes.
Thanks.

Good evening Satchland!
I just put my two sons (7 and 9 years) to sleep. I did it in our almost forgotten traditional way by playing some nice and easy music (from my stereo) for them after good night kisses (including all the nice stories/questions they always start shooting, when they are supposed to get to sleep)... And as usual (when not playing guitar myself), I played mr Satriani's "(You're) My World" and "Sittin' 'Round" for the Grande Finale => those are just perfect for this purpose, they always drop! ... anyway, that reminded me about this place, so I desided to drop a few lines...
I missed mr Vai's gig... once again... They sold out the tickets in half an hour... at that time I didn't even know about the whole thing...... I've seen him with DLR... and in G3... but never in a solo gig.................... somebody smack me! ... harder, please!
LucySorets: Thank You for remembering me. I miss you all, but there are just too many messages here for me to keep up with... I've got my family to share my time with, I'm sure you all understand my choise.
...Well, speaking of the (She)Devil, my lovable wife came just home... she was riding (a horse) as every tuesday evening... I wonder if she had enough (of riding)... gotta go.
Take care of yourselves and those whom you are close to!
