quote of the day from Full House - from Stephanie ~ on having a cavity filled.
Kimmy Gibler said they're going to wire my mouth shut and make me eat out of a hole in my throat!
I heard it hours ago and it still makes me laugh

plomin68.....Welcome to the site. I'm 1/2 Swedish and 1/2 Italian. Jeff Healey on G3 would be interesting indeed. My band covers "Confidence Man" Jeff is a great guitarist. Copping his lead style is a little difficult 'cause as you know he lays his guitar on his lap which gives him an extra finger for chord voicings and soloing. His thumb. His friends tried to show him how to play in a traditional upright position but Jeff was more comfortable on his lap. Go figuire....what ever works. Take care.
SteveeT.....say it isn't so. Gregg moved. That sucks for you man. I can't imagine finding a teacher to replace the knowledge that man has. Sorry to hear that. Take care.
Mari......Sleep tight and again welcome home. Hugs to you.
Have A Great Night Everyone ! ! ! ! Later

And guess what!!! I won first place in our costume contest at work....I went as Joe's biggest fan....but in a psychotic sorta way...LOL!! BIG black mullet hair wig, TONS of cheap jewelry, rings on every finger, bracelets, necklaces ....SCADS of really awful makeup (my lips were bright red and HUGE...electric blue eye shadow) my Strange Beautiful Music Joe shirt...and had a ciggy hangin outta my mouth all day...walked around groovin to the muzak in my head all day saying...."oh yeah....Joe wants me baaaaad"... it was pretty hysterical! Sorry Joe!!! But really...too funny...LOL!!

Capn thanks for your support, skipper. OK I might seem like a total <insert expletive of choice> sometimes, but I feel I'm right on this one. I have the right of saying what I want / think / feel (just like everybody else!). If it causes disagreement then so be it. Agreeing to disagree is sometimes the only solution. Name calling is such an easy way out, and all-too-often many people resort to it. Shame.
Regarding pronunciation, I have no idea! My old screen name was PhrygianDominant (one of Joe's favourite modes). Whenever people posted to me they tended to abbreviate it (Clarky, for example calls me phryg or pryg, depending on the 1664 lol). So I just changed it, made it shorter. I've never said it out loud. Some people mistakenly think it's a cute spelling of 'Freedom' but that never ever crossed my mind. Michelle posts to me as Dave, so as long as you get my attention, call me whatever you want. Here I'm (naturally) English Dave.
Zinc re" fishing... hilarious! TY! :-)
Nick Pike congrats!!! Did nobody warn you that getting your licence seriously effs up your drinking?!?! lmao! All the best bro
gabitarra it's truly a wonderful idea... I'm kinda hesitant, however, to move the responsibility with the location... what if, for example, you put on a really cool show in CA and the (for example) CO person had problems with venues, organisation, money, whatever... it'd be kinda a let-down.... maybe we could use an overall "tour manager" who has location-specific "location managers" working under his/her capable wing....? this needs more discussion... it's sounding exciting!
So I'm here, feeling the GA cold!!! :-O My first day off in six and I had to go in as a colleague is sick.... at least I'm home now... and it's Halloween... I hope there's something good and scary on the NEW CABLE TV!!!!!!!!!!!
Happy Halloween everyone!!!!! Seize y'all laters........ me :-)

Electric Evan Mitchell, yeah there's lots of Ibanez players here on t2j, ready with plenty of experience and advice should you need it!
OCPS470, I meant to say, regards the ZR trem.....I don't think I'll be taking the trem-setter out of mine. I'm happy to trade off the flicks for the ability to do 2-string bends and stuff. And you can still flutter on it anyway, it just requires more refined control with the left hand, which is cool 'cause I can do that!
My only gripe I suppose is how stiff it is, but I'll get used to that, and it's nice to know it won't suffer with worn knife-edges and all the expense that usually gets thrown at a Floyd!
marimariSRV, sorry to hear you're fighting a cough....hope it is just that and not bird flu! Sorry, that was a bit non-p-c wasn't it?! hehe. I gota laugh at you "hiding from trick or treaters"......they dont come to our house any more (or any of the houses near us), probably 'cause they know we don't have any smack, coke or acid to give them! haha
Stevee T, nice one dude, thanks for that! You got mail :-]
