962: I agree about the PC side of things...actually I think the whole Mac vs. PC thing is a load of crap. Both basically work similarly and have their minor ups and downs, but as long as you get something of quality built around your needs, you're going to get pretty great performance and reliability. For example, I've got an HP workstation which is set up specifically to be beefed up on the audio side of things, and it runs perfectly and puts up with all the crap I can through at it....I've actually had a song with 70 tracks and maybe 20 plugins running in real time with out hickuping. It's very reliable.

How about some comedy ? Comedy makes me laugh. What a stupid thing to say.

Perdro and Maria

Pedro and Maria got married. Pedro was a "man about town" so to speak, but Maria was very naive and uninformed about the birds and the bees.

Pedro was a poor working man and could not afford to take time off for a honeymoon. So, that night they retired to his little shack. When Pedro was undressing Maria said "Oh Pedro, what is that?"

Pedro being very quick thinking said "Maria, I am the only man in the world with one of these." And then proceeded to show her what it was for, and Maria was happy.

The next morning Pedro went off to work as usual. When he returned home that evening Maria was on the front porch obviously upset about something.

"Pedro, you told me that you were the only man in the world with one of those, and I saw Gonzalez the gardener changing his clothes behind the shed, and he had one, too."

Thinking fast Pedro said, "Oh, Maria, Gonzalez is my very best friend. I had two of them so I gave him one. He is the only other man in the world with one of those."

Marie being very stupid accepted his answer and they did their thing again that night.

Pedro went off to work again the next morning and when he returned home Maria was very upset, stamping her foot on the porch.

Pedro said, "Maria, what is the matter now?"

"Pedro, you gave Gonzalez the best one!!"

Sorry I had to.( It goes with joke)

OPCS470......I agree with 100%. It comes down to what your uses will be with the computer. I knew I was going with the Digi 002 and Pro Tools LE. I posted on Digidesigns User conference board and the answers were that Pro Tools ran smoother with the Mac. I don't the technical reasons why they just said it did. I guess the Mac OS was more stable. for Pro Tools. If I'm not mistaking when Digidesign started it was a Mac only Co. I could be wrong. They obviously support both platforms now. Another thing I was concerned about was losing PC customers with my studio. In Pro Tools when you set up a new session you can check a box that says Mac/Pc compatible. This allows the session to open up on a PC. How sweet is that. Of coase the PC has to have Pro Tools installed but it is a great feature. You can argue and joke all you want about which platform is better. But I think that's a waste of time and breathe. If you like what you're using and it works with what you're doing. How could another platform be better?

Spizzaz..... Good to see you also. I'm still in Chicago and I finally think I have a line up for the band after almost two years of searchin'. Whew ! ! ! About time eh ! ! ? I saw the National Anthem video. Nice. Looks like you had fun with that one. I'll let you know when we're out. Love to meet you and get your input on the band. Take care.

Sugarbaby..... Thanks. Of all people my mother in law sent me that one. Scary...... Oh well,we're getting close to Halloween...LOL....

Also, I saw Bowling for Columbine last night on Bravo. You Canadians our sure lucky. I don't know if you've seen this documentery. Part of what I lerned from it was how what an open society you Canadians have. Unlocked doors. No murders, no assults with guns. It seems Canadians go by Brotherhood and Love and respect each other and ones property. It clearly shows how our goverment and news media crams fear and violence down our throats. They gave murder statistics around the world from handguns. Most Countries were under a hundered. The US....an alarming 11,000 + people. That's not a typo. I was shocked. ....but not surprised. God bless you guys. I'm happy for all Canadians. Got room for 4 Americans?...LOL....Take care.

mikesb, Ha! VH!! I can't even imagine how a show like that would go down. And as for Alice in Chains ~ there will never, ever be a replacement for LAYNE STALEY!! To even try to fill that spot now would be a joke. That band and everything it was has had it's finest hour, and the recordings will live forever. Putting the same ppl. back together with a different singer would have to be under a different band name. It's sacred, ya know? As for Eddie and the boys - it certainly would be entertaining...

I'm sooo many pages behind...

To All: I posted a couple of days ago about adding a attachment on a T2J post. This what I wanted you guys to see. A bassist named Cliff Engel is playin' " Purple Haze " on a Zon 4- string bass. Read his Bio. Cliff is most impressive.
