HERES A JOKE!!!
A couple had been debating the purchase of a new auto for weeks. He
wanted a new truck. She wanted a fast little sports-like car so she could
zip
through traffic around town.
He would probably have settled on any beat up old truck, but everything
she seemed to like was way out of their price range.
"Look!" she said. I want something that goes from 0 to 200 in 4 seconds
or less. "And my birthday is coming up. You could surprise me."
For her birthday, he bought her a brand new bathroom scale.
Services will be at Downing funeral home on Monday the 12th, due to the
condition of the body; this will be a closed casket service. Please
send your donations to the 'Think before you say things to your wife
foundation',
lol

Hello Keniko...
Yeah... I liked that Cliff Engel website. He was a very impressive bassist!
I always like to see peoples BIO's and their influences. One of them was Stu Hamm... Joe's good buddy and bassist at one time. You gotta like that! Stu rocked a lot of people when he was with Joe and still does.
Joe plays with all the best!
Thanks for sharing...

hey joe! I am australian member of your website and have really enjoyed being part of it! I would some day really love a response on how to improve on my playing techniques. I have been playing for 16 yrs now and have only really played to tab music. It has only been this year that I have been studing music at our NMIT(North Melbourne Institutute of Technology). I have always played rock styles from Iron Maiden, Judas Preist, etc. Now I am into Jazz because it is what the course I am studing requires. Yet I am finding it hard to get a grasp of sometimes as it is a very complicated form of music! Not that I don't enjoy playing it but I find that I don't have much of an impact as I would like! So the question I would really like to ask is, how could I improve myself to a standard that I can have a good impression and impact to the music and what should I be doing to change from my old habits of wanting to lash out with huge solos that I am used to in rock but still have a great harmonious technique that works with my jazz members? Next year they are giving us the opportunity to start establishing ourselves as solo artists with the help of our teachers, but I am not sure of what I should be doing! So please Joe what should I be doing, because I do want to progress with my music skills! And who better to ask than the best, you Joe!

Hoiguy, Ill Nino is a cool band. We have Confession and Revolution. My kids have the cd's somewhere. I should have another listen. Haven't heard them for a while. Do you know of a band named Puya? They have a song called Oasis that rocks! It's on a compilation cd I have, but I can't remember which one? They sound like a great band, even though sometimes I have no idea what they're saying ;-) They have some cool headbangin' music !

Dear Joe I have written to you a couple of times, so I hope I am not annoying you by asking or writting too much! My father and I seen you this year at Melbourne, in the Forum. You were fantastic and full-on! My father is 60 and just loves your music as much as I do Joe. I have been trying my hardest to improve my self over the last year, and have started to study at the NMIT (North Melbourne Institute of Technology) in Australia. I have been playing now for 16 yrs and had mostly been playing rock stuff, I just love the music and the melodies from the old school stuff like; Judas Preist and Iron Maiden. But lately since being in the institute of Technology I have been getting into a bit of jazz, which is required in my course and another avenue I would like to explore into to expand my vocabulary in music. I would just love and appreciate a response on how to improve myself and just a few things you would suggest in my situation that would help me to progress futher in my studies a learning.

Delfino, my cat's been piling on the pounds for the last month or so. I reckon it's not goin to be too long before she's a two-man-lift, haha. I keep teasing her about it 'cause she's always been so svelt and athletic....she doesn't seem bothered though! haha. Yeah dude, you should do some exercise!

I think that Oct 12 is also that date that the first Englishman lands on the moon - not sure about the year though..
however.. today 21st Oct 2005 marks 200 years to the day that Admiral Nelson was killed at the battle of Trafalgar [off the SW Spanish coast i the Atlantic]
Lord Nelson was among the greatest military minds in the history of naval warfare

the most significant question for all of us that strive to achieve our absolute best both as guitarists and as human beings..

I offer you a quote from Shakespeare
'To thine own self be true'
Your family cannot accept this woman if they do not know her, IMHO you owe it to yourself to go for it with your lady and if your family loves you they will be happy for you sooner or later.
If love and happiness has come your way you should hold it and nurture it.
Good luck Jason and keep rocking.
PS Did you notice that England won the ashes. LOL
Steve.
