Electric Evan Mitchell, yeah there's lots of Ibanez players here on t2j, ready with plenty of experience and advice should you need it!
OCPS470, I meant to say, regards the ZR trem.....I don't think I'll be taking the trem-setter out of mine. I'm happy to trade off the flicks for the ability to do 2-string bends and stuff. And you can still flutter on it anyway, it just requires more refined control with the left hand, which is cool 'cause I can do that!
My only gripe I suppose is how stiff it is, but I'll get used to that, and it's nice to know it won't suffer with worn knife-edges and all the expense that usually gets thrown at a Floyd!
marimariSRV, sorry to hear you're fighting a cough....hope it is just that and not bird flu! Sorry, that was a bit non-p-c wasn't it?! hehe. I gota laugh at you "hiding from trick or treaters"......they dont come to our house any more (or any of the houses near us), probably 'cause they know we don't have any smack, coke or acid to give them! haha
Stevee T, nice one dude, thanks for that! You got mail :-]

Hey, I'm new here, loving the site though. I have to ask you, what are the chords for Devils' Slide? I've been trying to figure them out for an absolute age from your live DVD/CD but I just can't seem to get them right.
Thanks a bunch,
Simon

Dave: you need cable TV to see scary things on Halloween? Here we see scary things everyday on normal channels, apart from news there aren't more scary things than reality shows... :-|

Mari...after we all took turns having a nasty 12 hour flu, the family is doing great. My 9 yr old girl came down with it yesterday morning before school. So she missed out on all the Halloween festivities with her class...she was really bent about it too...lol.
Hope you feel better with your cough and all, take a break and relax. SD

Civgeek - I love my ADA MP1. It gives me all the tones I need to do my instrumental shred stuf + I use the same rig when I perform with Sherie Lea doing the dance/pop thing. I've been toying with the thought of getting a MP1 with the 3 tube mod :o)

962: I agree about leaving the tremsetter in. Actually, whenever I get around to it, I'm going to have Peter build me another Chellee model one guitar that has a trem. It's going to be a system like the Petrucci model, basically a standard trem that actually works without a locking nut or locking bridge. It's also going to be down trem only so that the sustain is better, and there are no bending issues. I think guitars with no locking nuts play so much better, and the ammount of detail you can express in your playing is better because there is less tension on the strings.
Alexandre: I'm doing the work to master all of the tracks as we speak.
Slansh: I think recording a guitar tone without tons of FX helps in another way..... I think it helps to prepare for studio work. In my opinion a guitarist has to play atleast twice as clean in the studio environment. Practicing hearing yourself minus FX helps to prevent one from becomming unnerved when the engineer cranks you up loud and naked on a big pair of studio moniters.
