Al DiMeola is a great player...but his music just does'nt grab me.

SteveeT...would you mind posting your "lava lamp" tune again? I was going to tell you what I thought but wanted to listen to it twice...lol...thanx. SD

I was thumbing through a box of old albums (those vinyl things we grew up on) at a garage sale and came across an Instuctional book (with a CD if you can believe that)...lol..called "Flying Fingers" by Dave Celentano. Anybody ever heard of him? The book was published in '87...says he went to G.I.T. (music school) in Hollywood, CA and was a teacher at John Waltrip's Music Center in Arcadia, CA.....Joe......ever heard of Dave Celentano?

I bought the book and (unscratched) CD...it was only priced at $2..and it retailed for $15.95 new...lol !

Stevee T i tried a Parker many moons ago but cant remember how it felt. I need to try one again coz i am worried bout playing in the high register of a 24 fretter with my meathooks.. I have probs with my Lado up high need to play as a three finger wimp above the 12th fret..

DCK i am seriously interested coz looks like I am not getting the AT-300 I had my heart set on....

Just got back from a rare spin in the wifes Jag (XK8 Coupe) now i need to see my chiropractor lol.... Snow has almost melted!!! The Jag doesn't like the snow rear wheel drive wide tires n all....
