JOE! I hope youre gonna read this message!! I am one of thousands of Israeli guitarists who would love to go to a concert of yours. I think I must be speaking on behalf of many people when I ask you to come to Israel for a concert! you see, in the past few years, many artists seemed to have forgotten to pay us a visit... and we are thirsty for a big concert. I belive that if you will come to Israel, you will see that its a beautiful land with a great audience! I truelly look forward for a future concert of yours in Israel. and I am not the only one!
Ehud.
oh and one last thing: when you do come to Israel I hope youre gonna play Crushing Day. love your sound there!!

today is my birthday - of sorts....
late in the afternoon of 4th November 1977
I played my first chord... it was Am...
I played it on a nylon strung classical acoustic that was already twice my age at the time....
I still have that guitar...
in fact I used it only a few days ago to record Virtus Junxit Mors Non Separabit - my acoustic guitar quartet...
that guitar plays and sounds like shit....
but I'm very attached to it...
so... my guitar playing is 28 today....
tonight I'm going to crackk open a few beers and blow the candles out with my Marshalls...

Good Morning Satchland......
Hi Joe. Two days in row. I love it. Like I said it didn't sound like the Joe we know. Bummer it's raining. It's a beautiful Fall day in Chi-Town. I'm going to enjoy while I can. Winter is coming....BBBRRRrrrrrrrr..... Hugs to you and the family and band.
Captain Steve ........Thanks for visiting my site and for signing our guest book.
Zen...... That's interesting info on Maxon. Like I said I love my TS-808. I wouldn't leave home without it. I was sent Exilir strings in the mail when they hit the market. I didn't like them. They felt different.....coated.....They didn't feel like strings. I guess I'm old fashion. I stayed with the D'addario's.
Clarky....Happy Guitar Birthday......tonight I'm going to crackk open a few beers and blow the candles out with my Marshalls..... I love it. That's deffinetly QOTD. I don't have a date when I started. Like Joe the unforntunate death of Hendrix started me playin'. I remember being in JR. High School.
Have A Great Day Everyone ! ! ! !
Webmaster Jon....... I need spell check real bad. I'm the worst speller. Speller? See what I mean.

Clarky.....Like I said I don't remember the date but my first song was ......" Let It Rain" From Eric Clapton and Friends with Delaney and Bonnie. That's goin' back quite aways. Like you the first chord I figuired out was an Amin and if I'm not mistaken a C chord was the next one. I loved that song. Great vocals on that one. Good guitar solo also.

naty lmao!
clarky it was either my brother's (right-handed, right-strung) strat copy... i played a d5 power chord with my hand over the top of the neck, or a crappy old acoustic (left-strung) and i played, funnily enough, Am. I don't remember the exact when though. Probably something like 1979. Happy Birthday!

I got my final degree results today. I got a 2:1!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Check ma bad self!!!! So now my full name is Mr. Neil Morgan, BA. How cool is that????
Clarky - I wish I did!!! All I remember is that a mate's step dad said he'd give me lessons, and in the first lesson he showed me A, E, and D major chords. I think I was about fifteen. Straight away I went out and bought a book and taught myself until I went to ACM (apart from one or two lessons with a dude called Mike Hutchinson who lived a shrot train ride away from me). The first song I learned how to play was 'Colours' by Donovan. To this day, I've never heard a recording of that song... lol

Clarky: Happy G-B-day! My first tune with a guitar was at my big brothers room with his white Fender Strato on one misty late-summer morning...(I must have been 11 or 12 yrs at that time, so it was summer '79 or '80)...anyways he taught me E... and then Em...and then Am...and A...then I looked out of the window and saw my friends who were waving like:"come out and play!", but I was so excited that I didn't go before I had learned D too...and then G...and C......then he taught this what we at least here in Finland call "barre" (you probably dig that.....or don't)...anyway all this led to a grope for AC/DC's "Down Payment Blues" (from the outstanding album "Powerage"...at which I was just beginning to reach)...oh maaaan, I was excited!!!
...Then I began to play icehockey and got so excited about it that guitarplaying was very much off...
...but then I discovered the drums......well, that'll be another story, EH!!!
Edit: sorry about that wolfie kind of disclosure...I got a little carried away with my sweet memories.

...Had to put AC/DC's "Powerage" (-78) on...This also makes a man to smile!
...or is it this Argentinian redwine? ..."Let there be "Malbec"-grapes!" (they grow only in Argentina; excellent juice they produce of it!!!)
It's weekend (9:25 pm here) and I'm really beginning to relax! Edit: translation; getting a bit drunk.
Everybody have a nice and relaxing weekend!
Joe: Don't know if you're working, but anyway; I raise my glass for you (and all the guys 'at your work'): "Let there be an amazing new album!"

Zen...... I think aussie asked me about the Boss BD-2. I never had or heard that pedal. I had a original Big Muff but like a idiot I lost it. As a matter of fact I had the Big Muff before the TS-808. The Big Muff was my first distortion pedal. The original sounded awesome. I don't know what the reissues sound like but I'm sure the design is close to the original or....why bother.
Another edit....Man I suck at this....LOL.....

Master Yoda -
Congrats on the degree result, odd day to be getting it on though. How come you got it at the beginning of November instead of March or August, when most results are given out?
