No chat!!! BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

MR LUINI, since the chat is not working, I think the next proper thing to do would be to mail out a Chat Patch to the chatters so the withdrawel might be a bit easier.

How am I supposed to take care of my friend chee's broke-ass eyeball and talk her through the pain? She was so upset by not being able to get in the chat that she rubbed the stuffin' right outta her eye. Now she's seeing colors and has developed a bad case of Torretts! All because the chat wasn't fixed fast enough. If she starts snorting paint chips, you're paying for rehab!

;-)

Hang on there Red - help is on it's way!

Yoda - congrats!!

I'm still hundreds of posts behind...

Death Cube K - hey ya! have some new tunes i can check out? did you finally get your own domain name? it seems like you were putting so much effort into the site, but as i recall it was a .Mac site (not to dog Macs of course...in fact i have a quad processor G5 on order :-) if you like, i know of a place that does free hosting if you purchase the domain name there...that's what i did.

been swamped lately...got my dream job doing research and software development at a "think tank", have a year left on my MS degree, and have a topic for my doctoral work, pretty excited :-)

in the grand scheme of things my Master's work isn't all that meaningful, but it's with music and it's fun. i'm creating a system that watches me in 3D space via video and interprets my gestures for music creation. the music creation is done by an artificial neural network that learns to harmonize over time. since i was taking an encryption class i also did some work with steganography. i'm hiding messages in the audio (frequencies) and music (harmonization structures) these days...ie, on the bonus track on my new CD the chords encode the ASCII text that is the password to unlock part of my site with additional content...we'll see how many people figure it out :-)

my doctoral work will be more useful, dealing with brain to computer interfaces. i'll re-use some of my music generation software and have it controlled by neural activity (ie thought) rather than 3D video. the interface technology will be useful for many things, but music will be the "showcase", letting me do things that i simply can't do with 2 hands. i'll also use the music as a financial engine. i'm hoping that the way Joe's amazing guitar enchants people, or Blue Man Group's antics entertain, the use of this technology will create a unique show experience. the CD sales / other music income will go into research, and research will make the music and shows better...a feedback loop...until i can do research / music independently as my *only* job.

what's new with you, man? how's life treating you? working on more T2J material?

MY OPINION IS JAMES DOUGLAS MORRISON = GREAT POET.

The original temptation was to destroy. The Cliffs. The Road. The Walls. Original heroism __ to bluff the elements of fire. To call creatures into the storm. The original heroism was to fall. To ball. The All. Natural man.

To participate in the creation. To screw things up. To bring Things into being.

The Crossroads where the car hides. Lies. Resides. A meeting-place of Worlds. Where dreams are made. Where anything is possible. Demons lie.

The car is steel & chrome. The wood-pile. Top of the pile. The heap. The graveyard. Where metal is reduced to its common mute element. To be reborn. A tale of rebirth in the wilderness. To become chaos & come back.

2 spade chicks, or a king & queen, comment from the balcony.

The types of society pass on the boards. Microcosm in a thimble

Hey all, Jo is there any chance you could invite either Rusty Cooley or Paul Gilbert to play at the next G3? Those guys are two of the greatest guitarists on the planet and it would be awesome to see either of them jamming with your self and Steve. Cheers, Rob

Hi everybody! Well...I'm behind in posts, 536 to go. I have spent a really busy week, I was having building work at home, a real drag! but it's so nice now...great windows with double layed crystal (for me this is new ;-). I'm going to the EVO Vai Experience in a few hours and next week I will be out of home for two days, I will be in Barcelona the see Vai's gig there and to visit this recently inaugurated amazing new tower: The Agbar Tower

If someone wants to know more about Barcelona's new work of art or is simply interested in futuristic architecture, have a look at this site: http://www.torreagbar.com/home.asp

Well friends, I will have lots of cool reading after my little trip ;-) and talk to you all soon!

Hmmmm it's inevitable to notice a fresh ambient in blue color...Joe was here...sweet!

Bye for now :-)

Hey Joe. I'm Danis from Malaysia. I'm a relatively new member here. Just a few months. Anyways, I did post a message the last time but I think u were on the road touring. Just would like to ask you, looking back at G3 LIVE : ROCKING IN THE FREE WORLD CD, I was amazed at your sound. The distortion was so solid and smooth. I would like to know if possible, so much, how did u achieve that? was it the Peavey XXX amp, the Boss DS-1 or some sort of harmonizer? I would appreciate it so much to know. Thanks loads. I bought your JS: Live in San Francisco DVD it rocks ! ! Cheers

Zenfish...I think Jim Morrison is trying to say "Take a hit and pass it on".....lol...really though, the guy was extremely intelligent. But has was also a violent monster.. to the point that some in the band were actually frightened of him !...If you get a chance.. read John Densmore's recent book about his time with the Doors...good reading.

Dakook

Hopefully this post will clear things up.

I was NOT under any circumstances suggesting that Mr T's work was only worth pennies. Parting with the pennies is simply a euphemism for spending ones money.

Having been involved with a band struggling to make it, touring trying to get better known, with very limited finances for promotion and still attempting to come up with new and improved material, I am very well aware of just how difficult it can be so I have every respect for Stevee.

Stevee has said why he uses the drum machine and that's fine, a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do. However, like my old mate Chris Rea, I just don't like them because IMHO they got no soul.

Keep rocking.

Steve.

Your post 1602 had me a little confused for a few moments, that was until I realised you had put that you could bring some blue parts. When I first read it I thought you had put PANTS!

Fender strat v Gibson Les Paul?

Bon chance

Steve.
