death cube k...what characters are available to eat in the Flintstones vitamins....lol?

mikesb..I don't recall you posting your Martone interview...did you?

MRklipa.

ovation1...long time no see....

Zenfish...I'd be honored to aid in a T2J symphony...I think that the current T2J CD Board Members could give valuable advice regarding the logistics of such a lofty plan...I love the idea... File format, and agreement, on what the time signatures & chord structures, and the basic core vibe & feel of the piece might prove to be it's undoing, or if persisted it's glory.

For instance; if someone laid down a basic track, and asked guest's to add 2 minute solos...it would be relatively easier (like Jordan Rudess' - Dream Theatre last solo album) than if we all contributed to the core of the piece...syncing the whole thing would require some techincal know how.

I'm guessing there'd be lot's of people that would love to be a part of it...which is the wonderment of the idea....kinda like World Peace....it'll get ugly...

Ibanez89...www.guitars101.com...should have it...

Master Yoda...congrats on earning your title....

Hello everybody!! I'm Lenne and i been new in the forum!! I always wanted to enter the forum and I don't know why I didn't do it until now :P

I'm from Spain and i haven't any favourite joe's song, since i like all songs he and his band play :P I like a lot Starry Night and Satch boogie... I think the interpretation of g3 live in denver is deserving ten of note, as also is live in San Francisco, I see them all hours haha.

Excuse my English, not yet I am an expert in the language but I defend myself speaking it haha.

Then or I finished writing, if somebody wants to ask something or to speak to me that me it says it :P

MIKEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dude!!!!!!!!! I missed you! *sniff* I even put Clarky on yer tail cause I got no hollaback. I thought you might have gotten swallowed up by Godzilla or something! I mean, G3 has a DVD/cd come out from Japan, and our #1 favorite Japanese authority doesn't even show up for the drop day (by the way, it's an awesome DVD). Anyways, I'm so glad to see you here again *BIG hugs*. Now you must wear a cowbell around your neck so we don't lose you again. Sorry, that's the deal. Put it on ;-) Nice to see you again bro!!! Werd to the family D.

Hey Joe, It's been too long since we've seen you live. We were hoping that you might be doing a show on New years Eve. We are going to a Raider game earlier, (5PM). It would be the ultimate double feature if you were at the Fillmore or the Warfield. Sure would like to see you in Santa Cruz! I guess I'll have to turn promoter to make that happen. I could go on and on, but I'll finish by saying that after twenty years of listening and watching you we still stand in awe. Good luck to you for the rest of '05.

LucySorets, that's a pretty awesome looking tower there....I love the way it's decorated. Do you know whish architect designed it?

Delfino, haha, yeah man I totally hear you on being broke....it sucks, but at least you don't have to worry about being self-disciplined! haha. Wise choice my friend, on sticking with your original combination, I'm sure they'll work out really nicely!
fizz450_03, wow, thanks! I'm well pleased that you liken my track to "SRV" - EJ is my absolute favourite player, so that's a massive compliment for me! That said, no, I wasn't thinking "Mr Johnson" as I was writing Silver Rain...but having listened to it since, I had similar thoughts about it!

I use Steinberg's Cubase SX2 for all my music writing/recording activities. It's got excellent support for plugins - both audio effects and MIDI instruments - but the degree to which I use them depends on the overall vibe of the track.

With Silver Rain and The Jester I tried to use effects and stuff as little as possible. But I'm currently working on something with a whole lot of synths, strings and other MIDI stuff in it and so far it's rocking!

So yeah, I make my drum tracks by importing single audio samples of a kick drum, snare drum, hi-hat, crash cymbal and so on, and then arrange a beat out of them. Or sometimes I use a pre-recorded drum loop for a different sound (or if I'm just being lazy!) making drum tracks in Cubase is pretty easy though, but it takes a lot of time, and it takes a lot of skill, which I don't yet have, to make something that sounds really good!

Ovation1, holy cr*p, is it really you? hehe, great to see you back dude, hope everything is well!
VFR, er...much the same as what I just wrote to Mikey! haha. You got mail bro!

grijalva : "its definately false, joe loves stu"

The_Alien : "my guitar teacher met joe and said he was a really nice guy so im more inclined to believe someone who i actually know personally. that story was probably either made up or warped over time through many tellings. it could have easily been someone completely different to joe"
