OCPS - OK, here's the deal: o7 and dim7 both mean full diminished seventh chords (ie. 1, b3, b5, bb7 - NOT 6); m7b5 and a "o" crossed out both mean half diminshed (ie. 1, b3, b5, b7); dim and "o" both mean diiminished triad (ie. 1, b3, b5). If you see just dim or "o" you shouldn't assume either full or half diminshed, particularly if comping, since the extensions used by the melody/solo instruments will imply either one, the other, or both - if you decide on what to play other than the basic triad, you'll limit the harmonic possiblites.

Awww, thanks chee!! Thanks Ken & Steve :)

Dave and I are celebrating our 18th anniversary today. We've been together for 23 years :-) It's a beautiful day outside too, just like it was on our wedding day. It's about 64 degrees and sunny. That's a perfect November day here in PA.

SteveeT: thanks man! Yes...thank God I can use the charts on stage haha!

Yoda:...ahh okay, that clears it up, I had an inkling that dim7 and o7 were referring to flatting a b7, but I thought I must be wrong, because the voicings on the cd that go along with the charts sound like (1 b3 b5 b7) voicings, so I think the transcriber must be confused..... thanks

VFR, haha, I'm glad someone appreciated it! no man, I never saw the MS Dog, but I'm always too busy frantically looking for the flash animated crosshair so I can shoot the Office Assistant in the face.....man that thing irritates the hell outta me! hehe. It looks like you're trying to write a suicide note! Would you like me to (i)Retrieve recipient's names from your MS Outlook Adress Book (ii)Write a statement to the police saying that nobody should be held responsible (iii)Insert a template for your will or (iv)Piss off and let you hang yourself in peace?

Oh there's so much mileage in this! hahaha j/k

Satriella, thanks loads for checking out my tracks, and thanks for your kind feedback! I'm always glad to hear somebody's rockin' to my tunes! I'll always be posting links whenever I upload new tracks ;-)

962 - Update on last message - Love Time Boogie (Oh I wonder where you got the idea for that title, hmmm let me think????) Seriously it's a lot of fun & Jugglin Karma you can certainly here joes influence in your vibes - that is no bad thing - in fact like joes, every time I hear a new one I think, "Yeah, this is great, (next tune) Yeah, no this is great (next tune) wait, this is great etc etc. You should go on tour - How about Sudbury as a start?! (OK I'm being cheeky, that's where I live) Oh, but if you do bring Satch with you?!!!!

Suzie - Thanks for the welcome, I'm sure I am no more enthusiastic than anyone else - one things for sure, I can't read music and i cant play guitar cos of it, although Flea (Red Hot Chillies) gets away with it. but hey, I'm happy listening to all the talented ones!! Do you play?

Satriella- yes I do play guitar, but I am by no means a shredder! I accompany myself, and do a bit of slide guitar and rhythm (lately!) I play piano too (mainly baroque and classical stuff) which I love- also my husband and I do duo stuff (voice and guitar) - all Renaissance material, John Dowland etc.

Sorry to waffle on!

Hi all! I've ordered that wonderful JS2PRM in a website, but I'm still waiting for it. It was due September 2005 and I get worry as the time passes by without any news from the retailer who's also waiting for it. Has someone ever heard of this delay from the factory ? (2 months are too much for me, I'm close to heart attack!!!) Thanks

Thanks Suzie :)

Stevee, it should, and it will be ;-)

Chester chee-toes, I also listened to the self titled cd today. I figgered I would play something nice for Davey in the car instead of my usual rotation of Pantera, Godsmack, Metallica, Rob Zombie, and Nine Inch Nails. lol! Every time I hear Joe's self titled cd, I get in such an uplifting mood. It touches my soul and really connects with me. The first time I listened to The Beautiful Guitar, I had tears running down my face for half the damn thing. It's just so...beautiful!! LOL!! Dinner was good, and whaddya know, the kids each had plans, so we got to go out ALONE!! lol! It was wunnerful good!
