Does anyone knows if Joe uses a stock DS-1 Boss???
...I'm searching for a better tone for my DS-1, so I'm thinking in doing the Robert Keeley mods for this pedal...
...does Joe's DS-1 has any mod???
He uses it as main distortion or uses as a boost to the amp??

STEEVE T,,Ang & I got your cd yesterday,,,gave it a listen today,,,,very cool !! However,,,,,,,,everytime I started getting into a song,,it ended?? Most songs were like..45 secs or a bit more??
Was this a demo?? You know we respect your music & I do know by hearing,,FAKE DRUMS OR NOT,,,your TALENTED!!
Just trying to understand the shortness of the songs,,NOW..the past two songs you wrote were on the same cd,,THEY were awesome..WE THOUGHT....
Correct me-us if were wrong,,are you commin out of a shell?? LIKE YOU SAID U CARRY UR HEART ON YOUR SLEAVE,,if thats the case,,very understandable..yet,,LET IT GO BRO,,stand up & ROCK YOU GERNOIDS OFF IN SPANDEX PANTS,,,NO NO ,,just kidding.
I think your on the right path Steeve..I love "HARVEST ICE"..very nice my funky brotha..nice beginning,,the bass & drums,,the leads are YOU dude,,NICEEE!!

dakook...(no shell here, I'm full blown me, but I'm a laid back warrior) the CD is basically a demo...with a taste of each song until I felt my recording technology(20 bit...now 24 bit, 8 tracks...now 24) (which I now have) was up to speed. I put several full length songs of the original CD on it, and the 2 new ones. As an artist, and don't get me wrong I have balls of steel & can afford to wear my heart on my sleeve, I am sensitive, and the more sensitive I am the more I can emote life's feeling's through my music whether it be sadness, or joy & everything in between.
The Triton has a mighty selection of samples that exceed most live kits...playing the kit individually uses up valuable recording Real Estate which I'm now doing for a more natural feel...not a preset. As I said earlier the reason this Demo has only about a minute of each song is because I want the finished product to be something to be proud of. Funny, I've got 2 more albums worth of material, but I love moving on to the next song...so I'm at my own mercy, and no record company to answer to, or pick up a paycheck from either....lol...thanks for listening & your support, and your opinion. If I pleased everyone...that means the ones with bad taste too...rotflmao...1st I've got to please my sorry ass...lol
Rowashburn...I do believe Joe's DS-1 is stock..maybe Joe will answer that one for you...?

Joe: How was your day buddy? I hope that it was better than mine. I had a great time snowboarding but before that and after that it was bad. I had such a wonderful time snowboarding. The ski resort is going to open in about a week... I am so excited its crazy. There is so much snow up there. Lots of freshys too. I was doing so many carves and it was fun. Fresh powder is the best. I think. So when you snowboard, do you like jumping better or just cruzing through the trees? Well have great night. Lots of love.

RoWashburn: Joe used to use a Japanese made Boss DS1. The ones made now are Taiwanese, so if you want it to sound kind of like a hifi version of the original Jap model, get it modded by Keeley...it's very good. I think ultimately though, you'll be better served ti save your money for an all tube amp that generates the distortion, instead of using a pedal...the difference is huge.

Bahduh, look for Merry Axemas I and II :) I forget which one Joe is on. Also, Gary Hoey's Ho HO Hoey is great for Christmas. Hope this helps.
