Stevee T and myself are two completely different people.

Mr T is a talented musician who plays guitar and drums, I just play at being a silly bugger.

The Anthology was the first Joe album I bought. I was given a copy (oops I mean a loan of the original) of ITLIS and was so impressed I needed to find out more about Joe's music so I thought the Anthology was the best bet. I have subsequently bought much of his other cd's and dvd's and in time will get it all.

Keep rocking.

Steve.

pastel_black...bad horsie has aboti 1/16"-1/8" thick mirror laminated to the face of a wood bodied jem...

Zenfish...yeah...Sinfonie...lol...this should be be very interesting...I'll watch the snail mail carefully...thanks

alexandrecaetano...congrats on the interview...where can we read it? Eric Sardinas has some real nice feel to his music...loved it...

Captain Steve..thanks for the ++

cuthbert1776...let's hope Joe, or Jon Luini reads your suggestion, and has the time and energy to arrange that for us...it would be wonderful...might be a mighty task even just for the U.S.

I wonder how his Managment would tell each store of these special seats? Maybe, it's included in the package that Mick offers each store...(there will be x amount of reserved seats allocated for T2J members....)

There might have to be a cut-off date of being a member of T2J to avoid stuffing the ballot box, or maybe Joe could use this to gain a few more loyal fans....?

js1200js1000...they're in the mail....hope ya like it...there's a couple of bonus tracks on it...the 2 recently posted....

Duran Duran Shows Longevity With New DVD

Duran Duran, "Live From London" DVD (Coming Home Studios)

Reunited '80s hitmakers Duran Duran complete their comeback with "Live From London," a concert DVD that faithfully delivers the sounds and form that took them from an art school pub act to the top of the charts.

The footage is taken from a 2004 concert at Wembley Arena in London. While the fab five plods a bit a times, they mainly soar during this nearly two-hour DVD. It helps that Wembley was packed with raving Duran-ees, worked into full froth, singing along with every lyric and clinging to the days of pegged pants past.

The band delivers their best known songs with great energy, from "Hungry Like the Wolf" to "Planet Earth." Roger Taylor hasn't lost a beat on drums and his driving tempo on the later song is something to behold.

Lead vocalist Simon LeBon remains the star of this outfit. He was the frontman that all others in his heyday were measured by — though few measured up. This remains the case. He looks spry, jumping around the stage, prancing, preening and still belting out those high-pitched vocals that were a radio and MTV mainstay.

LeBon and the boys really excel on the slow numbers. "Ordinary World" is a beautiful song done beautifully again here. It came from a reincarnation of the band that was not comprised of the original players, but they handle it smoothly here.

Any current crop of rockers who thinks Duran Duran was all hair-gel and eye shadow should snap up this DVD and watch closely. And Taylor is absolutely no joke on the guitar.

This DVD is no cheapie as far as production value. There are loads of camera angles, and top notch lighting and sound.

The extras include a photo slideshow and an interesting documentary with a few of the fellows taking a drive past their old Birmingham haunts. It's charming to hear them talk about the early days.

Hat's off to the tightest pop band of the 80s. They've done it again.

for cuthbert and all others . . .

YOU KNOW YOU ARE A TRUE HOOSIER WHEN:

1. Vacation means going north or south on I-65 for the weekend.

2. You measure distance in hours.

3. You know several people who have hit a deer more than once.

4. You often switch from heat to AC in the same day and back again.

5. You can drive 65 mph through 2 feet of snow during a raging blizzard, ithout flinching.

6. You see people wearing camouflage at social events including weddings.

7. You install security lights on your house and garage and leave both unlocked.

8. You carry jumper cables in your car and your girlfriend knows how to use them.

9. You design your kids Halloween costume to fit over a snowsuit.

10. Driving is better in the winter because the potholes are filled with snow.

11. You know all 5 seasons: "almost winter", "winter", "still winter", "Road Construction", & "It's Hot".

12. Your idea of creative landscaping is a statue of a deer next to your blue spruce.

13. "Down South" means Kentucky to you.

14. A brat is something you eat.

15. Your neighbor throws a party to celebrate his new pole shed.

16. You go out to a tailgate party every Friday.

17. You have more miles on your snow blower than your car.

18. You find 0 degrees a "little chilly."

19. You actually understand these jokes, and you forward them to all your Indiana friends. (What's not to understand?)
