Do you use iTunes or have an iPod?
The average price for a full CD is $9.99 not $5.
Songs are 99 cents each - some albums cost a bit more - if there are many more songs on the CD.
It is a good deal - but you do not get the satisfaction of holding the CD or reading the booklet. Some songs from iTunes come with a digital booklet you can download.
Typically I still purchase the CD, but if I only want one particular song, I get it from iTunes.

Zinc......How've ya been.?..... I use iTunes and don't have an iPod yet. I listen to cd's in my truck and in my studio and dinning room when eating, Cindy and I always have music playing. You have to. Well, I'm like you. Call me old school. I also like to hold the cd in my hand and read the booklet. This is getting a little better with the art work available with the download. But this is not the same. I was speaking to the people who download music on a regular basis. When iTunes came out I thought for shure a cd was $5.00. My mistake. Never downloaded a full CD just one song when I needed a song I didn't have. You're right it's a great deal. Take Care.

I figured you had an "in" at iTunes and got the "special" discount. I have seen a few CDs for about $5 - but they are only a few songs long.
I am definately old school - I like opening the cd, seeing the artwork on the CD (if any) and reading the booklet.
I love my iPod - it is not quite a year old - but works GREAT.
Got iTunes playing right now - something different today - the Cure. Later on I will switch back to Joe, maybe G3, we will see.

fizz450 by misaligned i mean do the pole pieces line up directly under the strings? particularly the two e strings? if they're not directly lines up then you'll experience lower output from those strings. you could get some new pickups with blades instead of pole pieces to counter that...
mikey thanx for including me in that list, bro!! :-)
ocps great news!!! :-))))

Johnny, Johnny. Johnny - what's so wrong with a little JD, long hair, some eyeliner, and a burning guitar solo?? Is that the work of the devil? Joe had long hair before he...um...lost it..err, I mean it left him. Jesus Christ had long hair, drank wine, and I bet he woulda rocked if he had a ChromeBoy! They thought he was evil too, and look at what a nice guy he was under all that hair. Don't know if he actaully ever rocked the eyeliner or not, but it woulda been cool. From everything I know about Vai, he is a spiritual guy. Personally, I believe he AND Joe have their guitars plugged straight into the heavens. The "evil mold"? Hmmm, does that come in the form of priests and buisnessmen too, or just people who dress a bit wild? Steve is an entertainer when he's on stage, therefore he dresses like one. When he's not onstage, he's in jeans and a t-shirt - just like Joe - taking care of his wife and kids - just like Joe - and being a good and decent human being and a credit to the human race - just like Joe. I don't mean to be rude or anything, but I am curious - why do you think that the clothing, hair, and external things make a person fit the "evil mold"? I do believe the most evilest people ever to walk the planet fit the "normal looking mold". It's the plain ones that slip through the radar because everybody's to damn bust watching the one that dresses differently. I don't want to argue, and you didn't offent me. I just find it very amusing when I come across your type of person - afraid of all the wrong things it seems...
Suzie, I guess I did lose my dummy. lol!
edit: ha! Did I actually say "most evilest"??? lmao!! EEEEEEEE-vil

Hi everyone, hope life is good with you.
Hi Joe, have you ever heard about a french guitar player named Christian Berger? (double winner of the Jeff Beck prize) it is rumoured you quoted "This guy plays Midnight better than I do"... Have you ever said such a thing?
I think I will include Midnight on the X-mas I'm preparing for my friends, it is sooooooo cooooool!
Love

I think Johnny cum lately was only trying to distinguish between the two, a bit like peeps used to compare the Stones and the Beatles . Both great rock acts, with one being a bit down and dirty with the other more clean cut.
Keep rocking.
Steve.

Hi Joe. Curiious if you ever met Dick Dale? Think he lives near Santa Rosa. After seeing you play "Sleepwalk" in the atmospheric Majestic Ventura Theatre last April I was thinking how cool it would be to hear your take on "Miserlou" or "Pipeline" there. Dianne.

By the way, I didn't actually mean it about the football/soccer thingy - I was merely being facecious (sp?)!!!
civgeek - I agree, but it does depend on the league/match you're watching. Premiership players, especially those in the top clubs like Man Utd and Arsenal are pampered, overpaid posers. They earn far too much money; especially when compared to nurses, fire fighters, etc. I can often be seen shouting at the TV "get up you poof - he hardly touched you!!!!" lmao. But in the lower leagues like the Doc Martens league and the Vauxhall Conference, the players and in fact the matches are much more hardcore.
Clarky - Sounds good man.
Suzie - Sure thing. If you know anywhere where you might be able to get us a gig/put in a good word, then it'd be greatly appreciated.
