Satriella, aww, thanks! haha, yeah I try my best....there's great value in being nice to people. Occasionally I'll completely flip out and go mental at someone, but usually 'cause they've done/said something ridiculously unfair to someone else! hehe.

Thanks for your best wishes, a 962 would be nice, but I can't see myself ever earning $1.5 million! hehe. Good to see you still posting and keeping up with the flow, I hope you have a cool weekend!

It's fun to play with the Y-O-D-A

CAPTAIN STEEVE,,Point taken,,I wasnt really bashing your opinion,,just the PENNY thing made it sound like u would spend very little if you had a chance to buy STEEVE T's cd...I guess that sounds like a double sided remark...yet reguardless of what (I) think of ones music I would NEVER throw pennies at it. It takes ALOT of work to make a song that sounds as good as STEEVE T'S,,Like u said,,,ur wife plays,,u should know,,I do respect your rights to judge music,,AS WE ALL HAVE THE SAME RIGHTS BRO,,I guess as a player of the 6 string device that causes many of us to go crazy,,i feel compassion.

THANK YOU FOR THE WELL WISHES,,DA & ANG HI TO ALL AS WELL........

Congrats dude...I hope I get as sweet a result in 4 years time for my degree...

Clarky

Happy birthday...I remember the day I first picked up a guitar...it was an old acoustic with really really old strings that were going black...my mate showed me how to play smoke on the water on the D and G strings...that night I went on the net and found all the major and minor chords...I memorised them all and then the next day showed my friend how to play them...

Ah the good ol' days...

I don't remember the first song but the chord was a D. My hands were small since I was only 4 and so it was the easiest one to finger. That and the big strings hurt!! I also still have my first giutar. It needs a lot of TLC. I will most likely never play it again. I've toyed with the idea of biulding a shadow box for it and hanging on the wall.

Hello JOe!!

So nice to see you drop by, we all have missed you...... it's always such a pleasure to hear from you!

I hope the recording is going smoothly, not too stressful. I was wondering why you chose Vancouver and not NYC or someother place in the states? Too many distractions? Just curious JOe. We are patiently awaiting your new Album..... and the next tour as well. I just got back from the UK, photographed 3 VAi shows. Excellent Adventure!

I still hope to become one of your Photographers (Steve's too!). I'll just keep trying. Any advice would be most helpful.

My best to you always.

Mari

No chat!!! BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

MR LUINI, since the chat is not working, I think the next proper thing to do would be to mail out a Chat Patch to the chatters so the withdrawel might be a bit easier.

How am I supposed to take care of my friend chee's broke-ass eyeball and talk her through the pain? She was so upset by not being able to get in the chat that she rubbed the stuffin' right outta her eye. Now she's seeing colors and has developed a bad case of Torretts! All because the chat wasn't fixed fast enough. If she starts snorting paint chips, you're paying for rehab!

;-)

Hang on there Red - help is on it's way!

Yoda - congrats!!

I'm still hundreds of posts behind...

Death Cube K - hey ya! have some new tunes i can check out? did you finally get your own domain name? it seems like you were putting so much effort into the site, but as i recall it was a .Mac site (not to dog Macs of course...in fact i have a quad processor G5 on order :-) if you like, i know of a place that does free hosting if you purchase the domain name there...that's what i did.

been swamped lately...got my dream job doing research and software development at a "think tank", have a year left on my MS degree, and have a topic for my doctoral work, pretty excited :-)

in the grand scheme of things my Master's work isn't all that meaningful, but it's with music and it's fun. i'm creating a system that watches me in 3D space via video and interprets my gestures for music creation. the music creation is done by an artificial neural network that learns to harmonize over time. since i was taking an encryption class i also did some work with steganography. i'm hiding messages in the audio (frequencies) and music (harmonization structures) these days...ie, on the bonus track on my new CD the chords encode the ASCII text that is the password to unlock part of my site with additional content...we'll see how many people figure it out :-)

my doctoral work will be more useful, dealing with brain to computer interfaces. i'll re-use some of my music generation software and have it controlled by neural activity (ie thought) rather than 3D video. the interface technology will be useful for many things, but music will be the "showcase", letting me do things that i simply can't do with 2 hands. i'll also use the music as a financial engine. i'm hoping that the way Joe's amazing guitar enchants people, or Blue Man Group's antics entertain, the use of this technology will create a unique show experience. the CD sales / other music income will go into research, and research will make the music and shows better...a feedback loop...until i can do research / music independently as my *only* job.

what's new with you, man? how's life treating you? working on more T2J material?
