MY OPINION IS JAMES DOUGLAS MORRISON = GREAT POET.

The original temptation was to destroy. The Cliffs. The Road. The Walls. Original heroism __ to bluff the elements of fire. To call creatures into the storm. The original heroism was to fall. To ball. The All. Natural man.

To participate in the creation. To screw things up. To bring Things into being.

The Crossroads where the car hides. Lies. Resides. A meeting-place of Worlds. Where dreams are made. Where anything is possible. Demons lie.

The car is steel & chrome. The wood-pile. Top of the pile. The heap. The graveyard. Where metal is reduced to its common mute element. To be reborn. A tale of rebirth in the wilderness. To become chaos & come back.

2 spade chicks, or a king & queen, comment from the balcony.

The types of society pass on the boards. Microcosm in a thimble

Hey all, Jo is there any chance you could invite either Rusty Cooley or Paul Gilbert to play at the next G3? Those guys are two of the greatest guitarists on the planet and it would be awesome to see either of them jamming with your self and Steve. Cheers, Rob

Hi everybody! Well...I'm behind in posts, 536 to go. I have spent a really busy week, I was having building work at home, a real drag! but it's so nice now...great windows with double layed crystal (for me this is new ;-). I'm going to the EVO Vai Experience in a few hours and next week I will be out of home for two days, I will be in Barcelona the see Vai's gig there and to visit this recently inaugurated amazing new tower: The Agbar Tower

If someone wants to know more about Barcelona's new work of art or is simply interested in futuristic architecture, have a look at this site: http://www.torreagbar.com/home.asp

Well friends, I will have lots of cool reading after my little trip ;-) and talk to you all soon!

Hmmmm it's inevitable to notice a fresh ambient in blue color...Joe was here...sweet!

Bye for now :-)

Hey Joe. I'm Danis from Malaysia. I'm a relatively new member here. Just a few months. Anyways, I did post a message the last time but I think u were on the road touring. Just would like to ask you, looking back at G3 LIVE : ROCKING IN THE FREE WORLD CD, I was amazed at your sound. The distortion was so solid and smooth. I would like to know if possible, so much, how did u achieve that? was it the Peavey XXX amp, the Boss DS-1 or some sort of harmonizer? I would appreciate it so much to know. Thanks loads. I bought your JS: Live in San Francisco DVD it rocks ! ! Cheers

Zenfish...I think Jim Morrison is trying to say "Take a hit and pass it on".....lol...really though, the guy was extremely intelligent. But has was also a violent monster.. to the point that some in the band were actually frightened of him !...If you get a chance.. read John Densmore's recent book about his time with the Doors...good reading.

Hopefully this post will clear things up.

I was NOT under any circumstances suggesting that Mr T's work was only worth pennies. Parting with the pennies is simply a euphemism for spending ones money.

Having been involved with a band struggling to make it, touring trying to get better known, with very limited finances for promotion and still attempting to come up with new and improved material, I am very well aware of just how difficult it can be so I have every respect for Stevee.

Stevee has said why he uses the drum machine and that's fine, a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do. However, like my old mate Chris Rea, I just don't like them because IMHO they got no soul.

Keep rocking.

Steve.

Your post 1602 had me a little confused for a few moments, that was until I realised you had put that you could bring some blue parts. When I first read it I thought you had put PANTS!

Fender strat v Gibson Les Paul?

Bon chance

Steve.

Stevee T - JS probably saw the Stones somewhere by now. They are still going to SF.

The show was awesome. 11th row seats we could feel the heat from the pyrotechnics. "Paint it Black" was outstanding. Glad I did it even though it was a 15 hour excursion. My ears rang all night.

Jim Morrison film clip circa 1964. Go to IFilm.com search Jim Morrison - College Geek. A promo he did for the State of Florida. Did not look like the future "Lizard King".

I hope that you'll understand my message because I'm french and I don't speak english very well (sorry)...So i have just one question : When will you come in France, AGAIN, for a mega show with Steve Vai?

...It will be very marvellous!!!

I know...I'm certainly too ambitious! So I imagine that it's not in your project, but we never know...Maybe one day?!?!... Except this question I would like to say you that you are certainly one of the best guitarist...with steve of course!!! Sorry again for my english who is very bad... Cordially...Alex And thanks again for your beautiful music!

Hellooo Satchland !!!!!

It's been a while since I posted and I've kinda struggled to find the time to lurk as often as I would like................. at the moment I'm typing with 'the boy' draped over my left shoulder on full alert for one of his 'stage dives' that he has come to specialise in. Left uncaught at the moment he will hurtle towards the floor and I will be in deep do do - lol ;-) It makes change for him to be quiet, he's not been renamed 'Baby Wah wah' for nothing!

Life is good at the moment (what's left of it -ha ha),but seriously it is true when it comes to kids 1=1 but 1+1=3 man, it's hard work.

I've kind of lurked on and off so I'm sure that I've missed loads, I saw our 'friend' make an appearance and an apology but chose not to comment, just kind of saddened me really.

I've checked out Steve Ts new tracks, nice work bro' and congrats on the Chromie.

Dave, Mark and Chris Nearly there now guys, thanks for all your work on the CD.

Clarky Happy GTR B-day. I guess that I started around Spring '83, got a feeling that my first chords were C and F which would figure becuase I started with the chord boxes from the 'Beatles Complete'........................ obviously Smoke on the Water was in there early on as well.

962 Hey bro'. apologies for the total drop off in communication but I'm sure that you understand why. Sorry toi say that I have also lost you phone no (D'oh!) Hope you're well man. I've been playing the AT, got some great sounds but it really lacks the 'power' of the Jem, guess that'll always be No 1, feels like home after more tha 10 years.I'll be around dude, I'll try and mail you soon :-)

The rest of you guys just 'Hi!!'. Peace and love and good happiness stuff to you all. Christ, the boy's off again............. I'm gonna hve to take hime to a music shop for a sound off against a Marshall Mode 4 - lol He reall is one loud Lil' f**ker, heh heh.

SOTD - BYOB - System of a Down, gotta love those guys!

Okay folks, I'm gone, catch up with you soon I hope.
